We had such a great experience working with Action Party Rentals. Tammy and Sue provided excellent customer service, were responsive to our emails and ultimately helped us achieve the perfect bridal bridal shower. They provided detailed price estimates and were very flexible as we changed things around. They also have a great variety of items and reasonable prices. The items arrived clean and in good condition. The cleanup instructions were easy and they came to assemble and disassemble the tent as scheduled. We would definitely use them again!

Great customer service! Sue helped me from the very beginning with quote for rental equipment for my wedding and when I couldn’t meet or speak with her all the other associates were just as helpful and knowledgeable! The guys that delivered the equipment were very nice and accommodating and helpful. It was a great experience and the price was not bad as all especially considering they deliver and pick up. We had a weekend event on a Saturday and they dropped the stuff of Friday and picked it up Monday which was awesome because it allowed us to avoid the need to rush and set up and break down the equipment.

All of the linens arrived on time and were perfect. Returning them was super easy. They were also very easy to work with leading up to the event, and accommodated all of our changes.

I always come to Action whenever I am planning an event for work. The planning is always easy and they are really great to communicate with (depending on who toy are working with, some staff member are more knowledgeable and I dont hesitate to ask for someone else) delivery and pick up are pretty easy as well. They definitely have a lot of options.

Please never rent from this place....they are absolutely the worst. I rented chairs and tables they never called to let me know they were on their way and then basically left the chairs and tables on the side walk. I was promised a refund for the troubles since I had to bring the chairs and tables up a flight of steps mind you i was charge $135.00 for delivery .Its pretty sad that one cant rely on a rental company for discent service. Special events and functions are stressful enough and then to have Action Party Rentals put a damper on the special day really sucks. So I will be calling back again to today and requesting to speak to Sue again since i know now from previous reviews that she is the owner. I do have pictures of how the rentals were left and records of how many times I called since then.

We celebrated my daughters 27th birthday. We rented a large tent, chairs, tables and linen from Action party for a great price. Staff delivered and put up the tent in a matter of minutes. They were professional and safety oriented due to Covid-19 precautions. I later called Ashlee @ Action party and requested tent walls because of rain predictions. She had the walls prepared and ready for us to pick them up. The linen was cleaned and steamed and the chairs and tables were all clean and ready for use. My family was pleased and we definitely plan to use them again for all our party needs. We highly recommend them to anyone looking to have a Fabulous party.

Rented a grill for $630.00 through this company. They brought an empty propane tank to my wedding. Wedding dinner was chaos without a propane tank to cook. I hope no one has to experience this companys awful accountability. There are multiple companies in allentown that do party rentals, dont gamble on action party rentals ruining your event.UPDATE- after speaking with them I was credited a full refund, which counts for something im thankful i didnt have to fight for it! 5 stars if the tank had gas lol.

Ashley was wonderful with the planning. Took the time to help my event look amazing. I did not give this five stars because I I cant say the same about the management.

Staff was helpful with ideas and worked to accommodate my specific needs. Order pickup and return was straightforward and efficient. Highly recommended!

Great Service

EXTREMELY POOR attention! Jeanne is possibly the worst representative they have. Absolutely NO Customer service skills! Our Company does a lot of business with them and after requesting a small price reduction on one of their rentals, the Manager refused. I would absolutely NOT Recommend them to anyone.

Action Party Rentals provided, delivered and picked up all the tables, chairs, yard games and serving tables for our large rehearsal dinner party. Everything was in great condition and arrived and was picked up on time. Very easy to rent everything and everything was clearly labeled and organized to set up table cloths and skirts. Would easily recommend to anyone throwing a party!

Definitely a place I would NOT recommend. My mother threw me a surprise baby shower and the morning of the shower (3/30/19) the chair she put the deposit down for was checked out to someone else !! They gave her a chair half the size nothing like she originally picked out. It took weeks of phone tag to get in touch with a manager. They didnt refund her the money and tried to give her lousy store credit. Mind you she lives out of state and they were well aware since they made her show proof of her license in order to HOLD the chair they gave to someone else! TAKE YOUR BUISNESS ELSEWHERE UNLESS YOU WANT YOUR PARTY RUINED.

Was in and out within 4 minutes of placing a order for 10 chairs. Needed for today, but the rep told me they are due by monday. Only charged for 1 day rental. Thank you. Went around back and was immediately helped and loaded within 2 min. Great fast service.

I Reserved a large wicker chair on February 26, 2019 for my daughter‘s baby shower on March 30, 2019. I put down $100 deposit and paid in full for the chair. A week before the shower, I spoke to Linda, to let her know my son-in-law might pick up the chair. She said Action party rental would not want anything to happen to that chair so please have your son-in-law show ID & let me have his name. When my son-in-law arrived, he called me and told me SOMEONE gave the chair away. I asked for the manager they told me the manager would not be back till Wednesday. I called from Monday April 1st until Friday April 5th. Finally, After my sixth call I was offered a $50 gift card (since I live out of state, which they knew) I refused, I Never did get to speak to a manager. And that’s the way it ended. Very unprofessional, do not waste your time here.

They stole money off my card after their website stated they closed at 5pm but their voicemail stated 430pm . I got there right at 4:59 and no ine was there and I had to rent a Uhaul to have these items returned and they never refunded me back my deposit after they ran my card without my authorization .. I WILL BE FILING A COMPLAINT WITH THE BBB

A big store ground with a guide and see everything they have to offer in their catalogue. We had a great experience being given a tour by Leah who was very professional and accommodating to our personal needs offering suggestions for the kind of decor we could use for our wedding and then a customized tentative bill of the things we wanted to rent with only a $50 deposit. They offer all the colors in the rainbow for Linens and have a fantastic selection of furniture and decor for weddings. They have a huge inventory all economically priced and given a great leeway for pick up and drop off.

Absolutely is a second hand store. Everything is used looking from wear and tear, their themes are cheesy, unclassy and broke looking. Dont expect anything less than dumpy service. Take your hard earned money elsewhere. Ive been in their back rooms too its dirty and I have a huge problem with people trying to sell cheap, broke looking party tools. Just ew.

Extremely disappointed with Action Party Rentals. On February 26, 2019 i went there to rent a high wicker chair for my daughters baby shower that would be on March 30, 2019. On the morning of the baby shower i arrived to pick up the wicker chair to find out they gave the chair i rented to someone else by mistake and the only other chair they could give me was a smaller version of the wicker chair. They stated that was the most they could do since the manager was away on vacation and to call back on Monday. I was upset but i took the smaller chair anyways because the show must go on...on April the 1st i called spoked to a brianna she stated the manager would call me back Wednesday (April 3rd). On April the 3rd or 4th NO ONE CALLED ME. So On April the 5th i called again spoke to a woman named Linda she offered me a gift card for $50.00 that can ONLY be used with them. They refused to give me a complete refund or even a call back. No manager has contacted me. Do not waste your time here!! Very unprofessional

Parked at the main entrance during the end of my friends wedding. Elderly, guests, and other vendors had to walk around their truck with poles sticking out the back. Inconsiderate and an accident waiting to happen!

Went in to ask for price on a rental and the lady looked like she was bothered and when my children were looking around she was looking at them like she was disgusted and would go back and check every area they were in like if they were touching or messing up their stuff which they were not! was going to rent there but since she was so disturbed by my children Why would I give them my business when it was for the kids in the first place ? Given their business practices, I will never use APR again, nor will our friends who have been helping us to prepare for the event. I suggest you think twice.We contracted with Action Party Rentals to supply tables and chairs for our daughter’s wedding reception for Labor Day Wknd 2018 after using them for rentals (tents, tables, chairs) for our older daughter here in Allentown. During our family vacation in July, we learned that my daughter’s new father-in-law was diagnosed with terminal cancer. Immediately upon return from vacation, I called all the providers with whom we left deposits ($500 with APR) to determine what may be the costs for cancelling the event since all deposits were non-refundable. All providers, including APR (Jen), indicated that they could refund part or all of the deposits, including the hotel rooms I had booked for family at non-cancellable rates. Several days later APR decided to reverse their decision – they would keep all of the $500 deposit.It seems reasonable that the providers, incl APR, would have had sunk costs so I did not expect to receive the entirety of the deposits. However, given the medical circumstances, leadtime of notice (almost 2 months) and repeat customer status, it is clearly disappointing that APR has chosen to 1) go back on their earlier word from when I checked earlier in July, and 2) to gouge our family and daughter who is reeling from the news when their costs cannot equate to a $500 loss.
