Edit: I did some research and believe this place was attempting to get me to commit to dental work that I did not really need. They told me that my insurance did not cover major work, but I found out that my insurance would cover some of these things if they were coded differently and other minor procedures could fix the issue. I was suspicious of the high pressure sales tactics employed by this place. They have called me multiple times to try and get me back in there. It is like going to a car dealership. VERY high pressure sales tactics. Also they pressured me into getting a painful procedure for cleaning my teeth that probably could have been done with just a standard cleaning. Be very wary of these types of dental offices. I will not be returning to this place.

This practice is amazing! I wanted to give everyone a big hug after my root canal. Twin Creeks dentistry is by far the best experience out of any Dentist I have ever been to. I went in to get three teeth extracted, a root canal and a filling on another tooth. When I walked in I was greeted with smiling faces and I was very impressed at how clean and welcoming the front area was. Doctor Chandran was friendly and personable as well as very professional. She was assisted by Allison who is also very attentive and professional and always kept a smile on her face and kept me feeling calm and relaxed. Front to back was very clean I was very impressed. Ive always been kind of scared to get my root canal done but I literally almost took a nap during the procedure. The procedure was absolutely pain-free and Im very satisfied with the work that was completed! I would recommend Twin Creeks dentistry to anyone looking for dental work. The practice is exacting what I was looking for when reviewing my options. I prefer a small practice that takes a personal interest and not a large dental clinic that each time you visit may be a different dentist. Prioritization of what to do and provided detail costs. Information on different finance options were explained. Joined a membership plan in order to save money on future checkups as well as a % discount on the future procedures.

This is my regular place now. I have been to many dental offices. In most places, they gave me local Anastasia because they told me that I am very sensitive. But the Dental assistant Jele (Korean beautiful lady) performed my cleaning and other stuffs without an Anastasia. which mean she is really know and an expert in what she is doing. I give Dr. Chandran 5 stars for 2 reasons: First was the extra time she spent advising me on gum surgery. I went to two different Periodontists and received two different opinions and prices. Its hard to make a decision when you have no idea what you are doing. Dr. Chandran looked at both recommendations and called both periodontists for more information. She really went the extra mile to help me decide.Second was her willingness to help with a night guard that just didnt fit right. After 2 adjustments she said, lets just make a new one. No argument; no bad attitude; just wanted to get it right.And I just thought of a third reason: the office staff is very friendly and helpful. They really dont see me as a bother!I would highly recommend her to my family and friends.

Dr. Sangita Chandran is not only an amazing General Dentist, shes an amazing person as well! Been to more dentist then I can count over the years & have spent 10s of thousands of $ on my teeth. All I know is, its extremely hard to find both a good / honest Dentist with consistent high integrity, principals, & values.Just want to share one story that really stands out to me most about what differentiates Dr. Chandran from a majority of my past dentists. Ive had to get crowns on alot of my teeth over the years, along with a handful of root-canals, & 1 tooth extraction, due to a massive infection. The latter was borderline the most debilitating & uncontrollable pain Ive ever experience in 40 years. Just know, Ive had more experiences in dental chairs w/different dentists then most would ever care to experience.A couple months back - I started feeling the same debilitating pain on a similar tooth mentioned above & started to panic! Fwiw, about a year ago, I was referred to Dr. Chandran by a friend and quickly found she was not only professional & very knowledgeable, but also methodical in her approach. (coupled with a friendly staff) Thus, I contacted Dr. Chandran’s office to request an appointment ASAP! Was advised they were booked solid for coming days with weekend approaching, but if I really needed, they could fit me in that afternoon, which I was very grateful for & took.Pain was so bad, didnt feel I could wait 5 more hours, so drove from Allen to Walnut Hill Lane to the endodontist that did root canal 2 years prior, to see if he was open. 2 years prior I paid $1500 for RC, now it was $2500!!! Wasn’t willing to pay $2500, so drove back to Allen & waited to see Dr. Chandran. Staff was very friendly! Me not so much - :-( Was in a lot of pain. Sorry!Dr. Chandran took her time, was very patient w/me and process. I was very adamant I had felt pain before multiple times & needed root canal, was scared tooth would need to be extracted like past if not fixed ASAP! Dr. Chandran was methodical & diligent in her approach, she checked all teeth in pain area, took x-rays, etc. but findings didn’t add up. No infection in tooth or roots etc., so no tangible proof why pain exists. When I found out they didnt know what was causing pain - I was getting close to wits-end!Not thinking clearly, I advised Dr. Chandran to just get me in for a root canal so the pain goes away! She calmly told me, “I can do that if you want & you can pay a good amount of money and go through all the dental work, but “what happens if we find out you are still having pain?” The next steps would then be a 2nd and 3rd root canal with no tangible proof of a tooth issue.Dr. Chandran then boldly advised, “all signs point to a SINUS infection putting pressure on teeth which was causing discomfort.” She then wrote me a prescription for penicillin, (which cost roughly $20 at Walmart) told me to double up on initial dosage, & I should feel better in a.m.,TBH, I thought Doc was CRAZY! But I also know a good deal when I see one, lol. If she’s right, I spend $20 instead of $2000, am out of pain within 12 hours, & no drilling on or through my teeth/roots.Not sure how she figured it out, but without a doubt, Dr Chandran was right! Within 12 hours my pain was cut by 75% & 100% gone 12 hours after that. We learned, I not only had a sinus infection, but a massive one present for months. Bottom line, I was in so much pain I was willing to spend $1500 to relieve it. As we now know, when that didn’t work I would have spent another $1500 - $3000 in unwarranted dental work & grief - just to find out it was a sinus infection that only required $20 worth of meds & a correct diagnosis by an amazing General Dentist like Dr Chandra!!!It’s for the reason detailed above and many others to date, I highly recommend Dr. Chandran to any individual or family in the Allen or surrounding areas, looking for a long term General Dentist who genuinely cares about her patients, does great work, & can also be trusted to do the right thing .
