Karl and Rob were extremely professional in my visit last week. I frequent this location for all my replacement tires and ive been also having my tire pressure checked periodically here as well. On Wednesday i had a nail in my tire and they alerted me to it. Fortunately i had the protection on my tire(s) and despite them being jam packed they had us in and out within 45 minutes after check-in. Im always impressed with their service and the entire Team here has a great energy. Thanks for all you guys do....appreciate it!

Love those guys.I brought them my 77 Cobra II show car and that treated it so carefully as they put on new tires. Asking me where I wanted it jacked, preferred tire pressure, etc.Wow.

This place definitely seem like a business you CAN NOT trust. They come across like a bunch of con artists and they do not pay attention to details. They told me that they could not put a tire with a slow leak back on my car. On my way home I realized that they put the same damage tire back on my car along with using my spare tire. They used my spare tire so that it would force me to purchase a new tire. Some people living in the community have told that they prefer to visit other near by locations instead of visiting this one in Algonquin in order to have a better customer service experience. I can see why!!

Couldn’t have asked for a better experience at Discount Tire in Algonquin. I was initially told by Toyota that my wife’s 19 Highlander needed a brand new tire due to a nail. Toyota wanted over $300 for the tire and almost another $100 for labor. Upon inspection of the tire myself, I could not locate a nail. Took it to Discount Tire who immediately located the small nail in a repairable portion of the tread. They indicated a plug would be an appropriate repair and a new tire was not needed. Their overall HONESTY was appreciated and I would go back in a heartbeat. 100% recommended. They could have easily sold me a tire without any questions, but they did not. Employee Izzy was my point of contact.

Scott YOU ARE THE MAN! Bought a set of new tires and a sensor online. The service was quick and efficient. Had to go back to make sure tire sensors were programmed correctly but besides that the service was great!!!! Sometimes things don’t work properly on the first try but hey life isn’t perfect ya know??!? Keep up the good work fellows highly recommended

Went in Saturday because a tire blew on my work trailer. Had to leave the trailer on the side of a busy street. When I asked how long for a replacement I was told 2 hours. After I explained my situation the salesman, Chris White, worked me in and I was on the road in less than a half hour. This is the kind of service that you dont see much of anymore. While not based in Algonquin, if I have planned maintenance or replacements needed they have earned my business. Excellent experience.

Discount tire has always been great to me. I needed a hard to find tire for my 2021 Genesis. They were able to get the tires shipped from New Jersey to their location in less than three days. Hats off to these guys. Best prices, best service, hands-down.

I used the online ordering and scheduled an appointment too. They called to verify what I wanted on my additional request. New tires were installed in an hour. Service was done without problems. Techs were helpful answering questions.

I went to them last week when I found a screw in my tire. They patched it in about 30 minutes and had me back on the road. Customer service was incredible.

Very happy these guys helped my daughter out with fixing her wheel after running over a curb. We were about to purchase a whole new wheel but brought it in to be looked at in case they could repair it and they did! Very honest team that saved us some money.

Awesome experience when I paid for one tire that their system showed was in stock but it ended up being out of stock, but since I already paid for it they upgraded me free of charge that they paid for on their end for being wrong, which now I get a tire that will last me longer and better warranty. Went in to have my wheels re-torqued because previous shop had them on too tight and need to do some work at home. They didnt charge me for the work and i was in and out in about 1 hour. Great customer service.

Called them yesterday to set up an appointment and tell them which tire I wanted. Even if I had a discount tire location closer to me, I went to this location because the website indicated they had this tire in stock. Pulled up today at my appointment time and was checked in promptly. They helped break off wheel locks that I didn’t have a key for and provided new lug nuts. Tires I requested were already waiting by the bay. The techs were especially professional and courteous. I worked with service writer Chris. Price at checkout was exactly what he estimated over the phone. Didn’t try to upsell anything other than certificates which I declined. Checked in, tires installed, paid, and pulled out in under an hour. Perfect.

I set up an appointment online for 1:00 pm. I:45, I am still waiting. I asked the attendant how appointment works and he responded you have cars ahead of you and you just have to wait. I guess there is no point to an appointment. They cant probably cram in 6 cars when they only have 4 bays for service. Dont set up an appointment and just drive in. It doesnt make any difference. You probably will be served quicker based on your place in the line.Edit: Scott, the store manager, took time to call and explain the new process of service window and its appreciated. Thanks.

Its clean the employees are super nice and friendly. They were amazing they tell you the price for everything taxes included. It went pretty quickly. No appointment necessary to get tires. I was back on the road in no time.

In December 2020, I scheduled an appointment here on a Thursday to come in to get 2 new tires on the following Monday. After arriving at my scheduled time, I still had to wait 40 minutes for a bay to become available.During my wait, they had me prepay for the tires and added a $129 labor fee (average seems to be around $25 per tire, or $50 total in my case). I asked about this fee, considering I was as much as one of the tires, and was told it was standard. I have gotten tires many places in my 37 years and never had a labor fee that high for, as they even admitted, an estimated 20 minutes of work. Given the time of year and how busy they were, I paid the fee anyway, worried that every other place would be just as busy.After they finally got my car into a bay, the work was done in only 15 minutes. While they are fast, I cant help but feel I received the woman tax with the labor charge that was added. I wont be going back here and have been advising my friends and family about how I was treated here.

Ive always been a fan of discount tire, but after today I will always go there without a question. My fiancée had her car at firestone and suggested new tires for her fusion. So we ordered them and I took the car there. After speaking with Scott and checking thread, we came to a conclusion that tires were not needed at this time. Im done with discount just make sure if you go in without a tpms light on you come out without one. They told me to drive it the light would eventually go off a week later I try to get them to reset it now I need new sensors perfect timing...

The guys at the Algonquin IL Discount Tires were Amazing.We blew a tire on I90 driving from Minnesota to Virginia the weekend before Christmas. We arrived at Discount tires as they were shutting off the light, doors already locked. We asked the last 2 guys there where we could go so we could get back on the road. Excellent experience. When I called Drew answered and gave me a few prices and explained the next available appointment time. When I arrived I was helped immediately by Ryan who showed me the tires available. I had initially planned to purchase a tire that cost 208 a tire but after I told him I was more focused on comfort and longevity he recommended a tire that was more highly rated than the one I had chosen online and it was only 98 a tire. This saved me more than 400 dollars. Not only that but I was able to finance the tires and received a 50 dollar rebate. I will absolutely make discount tire my first choice moving forward.

They special ordered 33 BF Goodrich KO2s for my Jeep and they were at the store in less than a day. I wanted to take my old tires back home after the install and they bagged them up for me for the ride home. Had a couple brief phone calls with Drew Smith and he was very helpful. Ill keep coming back for forever.UPDATE: 11.10.18Still coming back. I needed tires for my other Jeep and called on a whim one Saturday morning to see if they had them in stock. I came in and they had everything wrapped up with 4 new tires installed in about an hour. Still the best!

They told us to come over with flat.When we arrived tgey pushed us toward buying new tire. They will use any reason to do that. Unlike other Discount Tire locations.We brought same tire to Firestone next door and they fixed it.Palitine location had done same thing with no problem 3 times for me.Tgey will use same tactics to get you in and sell you a tire.No thanks.

I visited Discount Tires this week due to having tire issues. I had side wall damage along with a nail in my tire. I was about to buy my tires from another dealer due to the quote on buying 4 new tires. Rep DJ was phenomenal. Great customer service and patience with me. Guided me through step by step on ordering new tires. He also explained that due to me buying my tires from Discount Tires that I was able to qualify for a pro-rated price. This helped me tremendously on making my decision on fresh new tires. He turned my experience at Discount Tires around. Thanks so much DJ for all your help and your time. The guys here are courteous and professional. Bought a full set of tires for my car. Been here twice, first when they put the new tires on a few months ago then last week for the recommended rotation after 5000 miles. Car always ready as promised. Clean and roomy waiting area. I had a scheduled appointment with the confirmation number and email printed out for tire rotation and balance. The said I wasn’t in there system and could not help me. They had three bays open with the technicians just standing around. They said they have appointments every 15 minutes and the are all booked. The kid was a total jerk. Terrible customer service!

Ordered some tires online based on the tire size the site recommended for my car; arrived for my appointment to find my trim has a larger wheel size and they wouldnt work. Luis was able to get me comparable Pirelli tires for the same price. Great customer service even when they were very busy.

Excellent service, I am always please with the service & value received.They will even check your tire pressure and rotate your tires when you haven’t purchased your tires from them. As an example when you buy a new car you don’t need new tires because you have them with your new car however they will rotate them for free. Why would you want to do business with anybody else.

Went in 3.5 years ago to patch a tire that I hadn’t bought at Discount Tire. They patched it quickly at no charge. The patch held until it was time to get new tires last week. I ordered online. Tires arrived at my local Discount Tire the next day, and they called me to schedule an appointment. On my appointment day/time, they were extremely busy with a 3 hour walk-in wait, but they got to my car right away and finished within an hour, exactly as promised. Very happy with the service, and so far my tires are great too.

I have a tire I purchased from Discount Tire about a year ago that had a slow leak. It was also time for the recommended tire rotation. Set up appointment. Arrived a couple minutes early. Got right in. Tires were rotated and the tire with the slow leak was repaired free of charge. I didnt expect that.....

Fixed it and Didnt Charge me. They made my life 200% better. Cause it allowed me still do my weekly Lyft Driving that night and not miss out on the money. Went in for a scheduled appt and they refused to rotate my tires because they are starting to get worn down even though I had the car at a car dealer getting Maintenance early in the week and was told they still have 10k left on them, just tried to sell me new tires. Wont be coming back!

I am writing this review on behalf of my daughter. We purchased new tires for her car at this store and after a month, my daughter hit the curb and blow out her tire. They replaced it without any questions. Their staff was very friendly and accommodating and she was extremely pleased with the service they provided for her.

Stupendous! Arrived at 8:58am for my 9am appointment to have all 4 of my tires replaced. Was in my car driving away at 9:31am with my new tires. It is fair to say that every employee there was well mannered and excellent customer service. They honored the warranty, which thrilled me knowing I saved money. Thank you very much. I have a 1997 Ford Ranger with aftermarket wheels on it. I only needed the rears done as the fronts were pretty nice. However, the employees informed me that they couldnt put the front back on because they were 19 year-old tires and it was against their policy because of liability reasons. So what they did was unheard of they gave me the front 2 for free!!! also, really great service usually you wait at these places and wait and wait but they were very honest about the times and very helpful I would highly recommend visiting this store. I hope you have as good of an experience as I did thank you.

I recently was saved by the assistance manager. His name begins with an A! His service was beyond exceeding my expectations. Because of his caring act of kindness I was able to safely commute home (50 miles away) I went from crying to smiling and riding. I visited Discount Tire in Algonquin for the first time yesterday due to a flat tire. The service I received from start to finish was amazing! Andy G. was fantastic. He was timely, customer service driven, and wonderful at following up. My experience was top notch! I hopefully wont have to return any time soon, but would be more than willing to do so. My turn around time from beginning to end was unbelievable, and so appreciated with two small children in tow.

Did not have bags for replaced winter tires and the employee tried to load unbagged tires directly in the trunk which does not have cargo mat. Also tried to put 2 tires in 1 bag (which is too heavy for me to take out from the trunk) The stores excuse was that they were out of bags. The service used to be good before but has not been maintaining the good service in the past year or so.

Great service, accurate wait time estimates, plenty of seating. Adrian helped me out and was very professional and helped me to understand exactly what went wrong with my tire and he got me into a new one shortly after he told me mine was about to blow! Highest recommendations.
