Look no further, use Gold Shield Services Inc. I used Gold Shield to have my electrical service upgraded. This included a new service panel, outdoor pedestal, secondary ground rod and ground to cold water. In addition, at my last minute request they were able to repair several outdoor outlets as well as run conduit and install two outlets in the basement.When I called Gold Shield to ask about this job I spoke with Jessica. She was very knowledgeable and gave me all the necessary details. She helped to get my job scheduled and once it was she kept me updated and informed of the details pertaining to the job. On the day of the job the electricians that performed the work included Nate, Lauren and Brandon. They worked very hard, were efficient, professional and made sure everything was done in a clean, safe and up to date manner. They made my wife and I very comfortable and made sure we understood the work that was to be performed as well as walked us through and explained the work that was completed. It was a pleasure to work with them. They were fantastic!I would highly recommend Gold Shield and their services. I will definitely be using them again once I replace my A/C unit. I could not be more happy with Gold Shield. My A/C unit stopped working when it was 90° and humid. I have a 5 week old Baby who is (unsurprisingly) not a fan of being so hot. Unfourtunately it went out in the evening, but I called Gold Shield and they came out first thing the next morning.Art was fantastic. He came on the early end of the estimated time that he would be here and was very friendly. He was very quick to get things working again and was nice enough to explain to me in detail what the issue was, and what he was doing to fix it.I would highly recommend them!

Jon came out and diagnosed the problem with my AC. After determining the advanced age of the unit he determined a replacement was necessary. He was extremely professional and answered all questions I had. He went out of his way to turn around and find the soonest possible date for an install. Eric and Jon were on time and diligent in getting the work done. Jon even went the extra mile and cleaned up a lot of the no longer needed electrical wiring and reran new PVC drainage for not only the AC, but the humidifier as well. The entire process with Gold Shield was seamless. They came out promptly and provided a very detailed estimate to have 3 ceiling fans installed in 3 separate rooms that had no overhead lighting. Lauren also provided some suggestions regarding wall control and electrical relocation, while I was cost conscious, I am very happy we took her advice. They also provided an estimate to fix some subpar electrical work in my garage and add additional outlets. On install day they reviewed the work they were going to be doing and were professional and courteous during their work. They also took additonal steps to protect furniture and even my children’s books and toys. When they left you’d never know they were there all day working, they were very neat. Lauren was prompt in answering questions after I received the estimate. Lauren, Nate, and Brandon were all amazing and took the time to answer any questions I had during the install.

Gold Shield came out today to clean our ducts and vents. Ive lived in my house for 17 years and never had it done - I honestly didnt think it was a necessary service. But I knew I needed the dryer vent done and decided to go for the whole house and Im so glad I did. The team arrived on time in the morning and worked straight through most of the day. The guys were super friendly and polite - and hard working. Along the way they ran into an issue accessing my dryer vent (new appliances that had been relocated from where they used to sit) and recommended an easy solution for now and the future. They also solved the mystery of why neither bedroom would heat/cool as well as the rest of the house. The before/after pics of my ducts were eye opening to say the least. And I might be imagining it, but I swear the heating system is not as noisy as it used to be. All in all an A+ for Gold Shield.

The technicians were on time and very professional. They accomplished a very difficult job in a timely manner. They installed a three way lighted ceiling fan in a stair well with very high ceilings. The fan was a smart fan that hooked up to cell phone and google assistant. I was more than pleased and would highly recommend the compamy.

Hats off to Tech Rob for a quick response to my furnace issue. My furnace did not fire up when turned on so I gave Gold Shield Services a call and Robbie showed up in roughly 20 minutes. Rob diagnosed a faulty igniter for the gas and swapped it out, cleaned the flame detector and was done. Very professional and polite, and didn’t mind me hanging out while he worked. My AC stopped working one day during a heat wave. I called Gold Shield, and they were able to set up an appointment THAT DAY with a time that worked with my crazy schedule. Art was on time to my appointment. He checked to see what was wrong with my AC unit, and he checked the furnace in the basement. These guys did a great job thoroughly cleaning the vents/ducts and then sanitizing them. They showed direct comparisons for vents pre and post as well as video footage of how they went in to clean the vents. The guys that did the job were very professional and informative. It’s kind of an expensive job but worth it, knowing you are breathing in cleaner air!

I changed out some old receptacles over the weekend and started having electrical problems (blinking lights and LED’s in certain areas of the house overheating and burning out). I double and triple checked my work and eventually gave up. I called around to 4 electricians in the area and Gold Shield was the only company that had someone that could come out on this Saturday evening. Lauren showed up an hour later, identified the problem immediately, showed me how to wire up a receptacle to current standards, and explained the reason for the electrical fluctuations in a way that made sense. After her visit I was able to identify and fix 4 other recepticles around the first floor of my house that were wrong. You learn something new every day! Thanks again!

Overall great experience with Gold Shield. Had our AC unit go out overnight on the hottest week on the summer so far. Called them first thing in the morning and the technician Gene was right on time. Very professional and respectful of the challenges with COVID-19 currently.Was here for about an hour, explained to me what went wrong, fixed it, and gave some further education on the AC unit to help the performance of it.Certainly would recommend to anyone looking for AC repair.

My father wanted some work done in our garage when our power suddenly went out. This included exchanging old wire with new wire and adding outlets both inside and outside the home. He says this about services rendered, Nate (our technician) anticipated all of the necessary equipment needed for our general request to have outlets installed inside and outside the garage. I had contacted Gold shield as well as two other licensed electricians They gave me a quote for $7500 for work to be done That did not include one major component of the project running a new 20 amp line. . Luckily I had self contracted an addition on my home previous and had some experience and knew that this was way out of line. The two other quotes that I received from licensed electricians were approximately $1800 and $2400 and they both included running a new line which was not on the gold shield quote. That means their cost was more than three times anyone else’s and not inclusive of everything. I did reach out to them to check to see if there was an error or if they could provide me with an itemization which they refused. They also arrive to half an hour late to the appointment. All in all it feels like this company was a bit of a Facebook scam I would not recommend.

They suggested I call my insurance company and file a claim. Then when my insurance company tried to bully me and not pay the claim, the team at Gold Shield fought for me. This turned out to be an amazing experience out of a really terrible situation.

I would just like to say Gold Shield Services held true to their reviews. Art came out and gave me a free estimate once I expected the quote Art and Cliff came out and installed an outlet for my generator and a double 30 amp breaker with a safety guard. They were both friendly and courteous and left everything as clean as it was before they started. Art and Cliff also got along great with my lab mix dog which means a lot to me I didn’t have to worry about locking him up. Well I just like to personally thank them both for a great job.
