Just got the worse pedicure of my life. The girl rushed through my pedicure. She did not shape my nails nor did she massage and rub lotion after. Then she really expected a tip. I only tip when the service is great. Never coming back.

Been there Three times not the nices employee’s but gave them chances. Called to make an appointment for Thursday she was RUDE . I asked if they had 3 pm she said nothing . Ladies, if you’re tired of filling in your brows or having to spend 30mins on your eyebrows during your makeup routine like me...please book an appointment with KT to get your eyebrows done! It’ll definitely cut down your makeup routine time in half. Most of all you’ll have perfect eyebrows every time & every day. I’d say it’s a win-win for sure!KT is absolutely amazing and professionally talented! During my appointment she took her time working her magic mapping out my eyebrows and shaping it to fit my big face frame. While she was outlining and shading in my Ombré Brows...believe me or not I slept through it most of the time until she gave me new beautiful brows lol. Don’t worry she put numbing cream on during the process whether if you’re afraid of pain or not. To me it was relaxing during the filling and shading. Is just like getting acupuncture and a tattoo done I guess. Beauty is pain & Pain is beauty as they say.So if you want beautiful stunning eyebrows please go book an appointment with KT. She is the best in the DMV for sure! I can’t wait to go back for my touch up.

Customer service is terrible. I was a frequent customer of Top Coat Nails for more than 4 years but as of the last few months their work has been sloppy, they do not honor the appointment times that they set and the establishment isnt very clean.

This place isn’t far from my job so I walked over one day to get my nails done. Nancy did a great job! I’ve never gotten acrylics in this area before so I’m not sure what other places charge, but I paid $45 for the nails (it was an extra $5 to get them filed in the coffin shape). I thought an actual manicure would be included with getting the acrylics done but it is not. Overall I was satisfied and will definitely be back.

I went to see Katie about two years ago for microblading. She was amazing and talented then. Very professional and takes pride in her work. I finally decided to go back for another touch up two years later! Like everyone else I was concerned to due COVID but her and her staff took all precaution necessary to make sure I was safe and in a clean and safe environment. You can tell she has grown more professional and talented in the last two years! She is still very meticulous and takes pride in her work. I mean you want someone meticulous when they are applying permanent make up to your face. I would NOT trust anyone else but her! She also took time to explain the maintenance after the session. Highly Recommended!

Scheduled an appointment time that a pink & white specialist was available and was told only upon arrival, that they had no one available to perform this service. What nail salon doesn’t have this capability....expected more from this locale!

This is my go to salon for pedicures. It is easy to make an appointment and I have seen walk ins accommodated with ease. This location is clean and efficient, you can pay by card or get a slight discount on services rendered with cash. This salon is no frills, you will get the services you came for from friendly folks, in a clean environment, drinks are offered, and their massage chairs are delightful.

This was the most expensive basic full set and pedicure I have ever gotten. I paid $100 for a basic Acrylic full set and basic Pedicure. Literally the next morning I woke up and my pinky nail was broken. I went back to have it fixed and the nail tech said I was being “Harsh on my nails” I told her the nail was weak clearly. Fast forward a week and 2 days I now have 4 broken nails. I have never in my 15 years of getting my nails done experienced this type of poor work. It was not worth it and I honestly want my money back. I will never go to this place again or recommend them to anyone. Horrible quality and extremely high prices.

I was lucky to find a trustworthy microblading salon which my friend did the procedure first. My technician Katie looked at my eyebrows and knew exactly what I needed. Im over joyed with my results. She was very friendly and extremely knowledgeable. I highly recommend her!

I had my eyebrows Microbladed by Katie. She did a beautiful job and I would recommend her if you need help getting your eye brows on point. After my treatment I had my nails done and the technician did a fantastic job.8 weeks later I had my Microshading touch up session and now I am so happy with my brows. Nothing better than getting up in the morning having perfect brows. Thank you Katie.

Decided to try them since I was in the area. Not worth my time or money. The technician lacked experience with dipping. I recommend investing time into growing your technicians. They need to know how to use the products properly.

Usually a salon will have 1 or 2 great techs. Ive come to find this one has made sure all techs are amazing. Ive had my nails done by 4 different techs here and each time my nails looked amazing. Prices are on the higher end, however I think the quality service is worth it. Would definitely recommend. Oh, and the pedis are comparable to spas in FL. (Ive noticed an incredible difference in quality of services here compared to my home state... not in a good way!!) It took me a while to find this place after shopping around for a decent place. This nail salon is on top of it!!

Nail tech did an awful job on my nails and had to redo them 3 times in order to get it right. Both times I had to demand it get fixed rather than she identifying that it wasnt done right and fixing it. I was so disappointed especially I live close by and was hoping to make this my new salon. Another client was really upset with her nails while I was there as well. Maybe some of the techs know what they are doing but 2 of 3 there today did not. Additionally, I really didnt appreciate the tech complaining about me in front of me (just because l dont look it doesnt mean I dont understand what youve said). Very unprofessional.To update... My nails only lasted about a week and a half which is ludicrous for SNS polish.

I had my nails done by Vicki. She is very good and sweet. It was my first time getting dip and she made sure throughout the process that I liked what she was doing. I recommend her.

I absolutely LOVE this place. I have recommended this salon to my friends and they have now become regulars. Amy is by far the BEST nail tech ever!!!! There is not a day that somebody does not compliment my nails and I owe all that attention to her. Aside from being a complete perfectionist, she is super sweet and takes her time.I do think the the pricing is a bit steep (especially the pedicures) given that they do not do anything other than what every other salon does; but it is hard to go else where when you leave completely satisfied every single time; and the best part (at least with Amy) is that she makes sure I am satisfied with everything or she will do it again. She spoils her clients.

Very nice salon on Eisenhower Avenue. Theyll give you a discount if you pay cash but of course I did not have cash on me at that time. They also only accept cash tips. The nail tech was very attentive and gentle when working on my fingers and toes.

Best nail salon in Ohio. Ive tried multiple mail salons, and Top Coat Nails is the only one to exceed my expectations. Paul always does an amazing job on my nails and the rest of the staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Cleanliness is very important to me. The salon is always spotless. Everything is new and clean. I highly recommend this salon!

Went here for a manicure and pedicure. The place is clean and nice. The technician was very nice and skilled. She did an excellent job on my manicure and pedicure. They have a pretty good discount if you pay cash. Will be coming back.

Nancy is my fave. She miraculously made my nails look amazing after almost a month of acrylic on them. Try the SNS powder, its way better than gel or acrylic. The shop is always clean, prices are reasonable and the location is great. Parking isnt always free but pretty cheap.

The staff and Manager (Katie) are very nice and take the time to do our nails right. Overall we just walked by this shop, and glad we went in. The outcome was fantastic. Honest place. Got real busy! Took their time to make them right!

I had my eyebrows tattooed with the owner and less than a month later (and $450 later ) they were gone. She said, “it is because I have oily skin”. So it is my fault lolGo to a professional that knows about all skin types and get your money worth. I got them tattoed with someone else in another state cheaper and look magnificent.The owner is not friendly either and acts like she is doing you a favor and comes across as she does not care. Trust that, she does not care about you or your eyebrows. Once you pay you are shit out of luck and she will blame any results on you, and not make any free corrections. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.

Getting my nails done here is worth it everytime!! They pay great attention to detail. I love how they offer you snacks and drinks too. Place looks really nice and clean. Nails techs are friendly and are very professional.

I tried this place today and I was not impressed. My manicurist did a lot of short cuts, I did not get the cuticles trimmed or cut, it was more so if a fast job. Poor customer service and she was not friendly at all, she’s rude because she was talking to her manager, or a friend in their language including when I was ready to pay she spoke to the manager in their language. I also didn’t like she has a cold, sneezing and she didn’t wash her hands. Manners very bad one. I will not go back and I do not and will not recommend this place. Poor customer service. I have been to many places observing and rating how the service goes, Bad. There are a lot better shops out there that I have given an outstanding rating in customer service and does the job well and the same price. The mani pedi pricing is all over same price, it’s the service that you have to watch.

Just got my arms and legs waxed. Having my toe nails done now and going to get my nails groomed. So far so good.She used two different waxes a pink one for my arms, which are now a little irritated ( my skin is a bit sensitive), and a yellow for my legs; which didnt cause the red bumps and burning my arms are feeling.My tech is attentive to detail which is wonderful I arrived late for my 1 oclock appointment. So, it is my fault for not getting there on time for the private room, but i feel she could have waited to use the yellow wax for my arms. So have to take off a star for that. Oh shes massaging my feet and legs now. Heaven! Will update at the end about my finger nails.Fingers done. And they are a good length the rounding is a little awkward but she it by hand and not with the drill. I will be back for future visits. ^-^Ran into an issue. They charged my card twice. First for an amount of 120 than for the amount of 130. Which is the correct amount?Another small matter that Ive not been able to get over is that they do not take tips by card, something that was mentioned by Dan Lee that they did do. They offer discounted rates for those who pay by cash. Something I found mildly annoying. Than I found out they are hoping for someone to use their ATM machine in their store not sure if I really trust this store with my card information.I am, however, hopeful that the charges will be corrected. I pray for some small amount of faith to be restored because I really did enjoy my visit. I would hate to have to take my custom elsewhere.

I was just walking by the place so I figured Id go in and check it out. The guy at the reception just looked at me without saying hello and when I reached the reception desk he just said annoyingly can I help you?. I said I just want to see which services do you offer. He didnt seem to understand me and said, again annoyingly what??. I repeated myself and without saying anything he just handed me the brochure. After looking at it for a few mins I said thank you, he didnt even look up and just said mm hmm. Wow great customer service, will never bring my business to this place.

Great find in Alexandria, this salon is spotless and clean. Ive been to many salons, this by far is the best. Im very picky about my nails, but here, they were very meticulous and helpful. I got a gel manicure done here, and its been 2 weeks with no chips. This is my go-to place. One more thing, they let you tips on the card unlike many other nails place.

I decided to try this place out after seeing that it had decent reviews and supposedly decent prices. What a mistake. I wanted to get a mani-pedi before leaving on vacation but I might as well have just bought my own supplies and done them myself. I guarantee it would have turned out better than what I was provided with by this establishment. I was charged $57 for a classic french mani-pedi and not only did they roughen up my cuticles, but it wasnt even a full 24 hrs later that the nail polish started peeling off in complete sheets. I was actually on my flight to my vacation destination when I noticed and its not like I had done anything strenuous or used any kind of product that would have caused that to happen, the nail polish they used was clearly just old and cheap. All of the polish from my nails had peeled completely off within 48 hrs after they had painted them.Very dissapointed. Such a waste of my time and money, I wish now that I just wouldnt have gotten them done at all.

If I could give this place zero stars I would, I went here to get pedicures with my boyfriend and a full set. From start to finish my services were mediocre at best but the cherry on top of this horrible experience was my manicure. I wanted to get a full set in stiletto shape with gel nail polish I generally spend $45-$60 for that exact service and $60 being the highest Ive paid. I expected to pay a little more given the area but the thought process behind pricing here is ridiculous. For a basic full set in a square shape its $40 no frills, fine. To get a different shape its an additional $10, so just to file in a different shape youre now at $50. For the gel polish its an additional $10, ok fine I know thats an added cost but were now at $60. Then I looked down and noticed my cuticles were a complete mess and when I asked to have them cut or drilled (which is included ANYWHERE Ive ever gone) I got an attitude and was told that would be an additional $10 charge. $10 TO CUT MY CUTICLES as part of a manicure service. Um what? So $70 all in. Needless to say I didnt get what I actually wanted I got a basic full set and paid $45 for it. I also was experienced some of the worst customer service from my manicurist ever and was treated like an inconvenience and pawned off on other technicians just to get my service completely done.I will not ever be returning back here.

Technician paid close attention to my feet, and she had a timer for the foot massage included in the basic pedicure, so you actually get 10 minutes worth. Good experience,I will come back.

I normally drive to Ashburn VA to Serenity Nails to get exceptional, consistent, personalized service but Ive accepted I need to find someplace closer:/My 6:00 PM gel mani pedi appointment on a Wednesday night started at 6:30. I asked for my techs name but she said it so sheepishly I couldnt understand her even when she repeated it. She looked to be one of the two younger girls there. She said she liked my current pedicure which was nice and I pointed out Id like my nails done the same way again. Its a French pedicure with a second line on the nail. Thats when another tech Katie stepped in. She seemed much more confident in speech and in her skills. My pedicure looked good, she asked me if I liked it every step of the way which was nice and reassuring. My feet however were not softened by the original techs bad massage and callous treatment. I run everyday, its really important that the nail techs actually work on the bottom of my feet and unfortunately Ill have to get another pedicure again. Katie and I didnt get to speak much because she just did the polish portion of my pedicure but she was professional and competent!My 6 PM appointment on Thursday went off without a hitch. Karen was amazing for my manicure. I have LONG natural nails that were recently butchered by a salon in Alexandria :/ They put WAY too much product on them and they became brittle fast. Karen did what she could but most importantly shes knowledgeable and knows what it takes to maintain strong healthy natural nails. She speaks Vietnamese and Cantonese fluently, her English is shaky but when it comes to nails she has the lexicon down pat. She cut my nails super short (with my permission) and were going to rebuild them one week at a time. She also recommended a month- two months of no gel polish to get them to really shine. She was attentive and fun to talk to despite the language barrier.I highly recommend Katie and Karen. I heard Moon is great too, Ill be back to have an appointment with her!This salon does have plenty of paid street parking or free garage parking. It is clean and the front desk guy is really personable. If you drive 20 minutes away you get 2x as much for what they charge here as far as what is involved in a pedicure and manicure. My pedicure was $45! (5$ for French 5$ for an extra line) My gel manicure was $32, $25 since I paid with cash.The street parking out front use some 3rd party app. But download and pay it because the tickets out front are $45 a piece! Theres a free garage if you dont mind walking behind the salon.

This place is great! Ive been coming here for over a year. This is probably the best salon Ive ever been to Im Virginia. I always see Moon, she is completely amazing! She takes the time to do my mani pedi perfectly everytime. She pays very close attention to detail and I always leave happy. All of the ladies seem to have a pretty big following of regulars, so Im sure youd be happy with anyone. The place is very affordable. A regular mani pedi is only $40-45 dollars and they offer a lot of spa style pedis. Highly recommend!
