I did my nails more than two weeks ago and it still looks good! I usually have to take my gel off right around two weeks but I am extremely happy with Marianas skills. I love Jolimia Salon & Spa! Quick story short.... I went to a Bubbles Salon in search of the new hair trend - Balayge. They left my hair a mess !!!!! I had an uneven color all over. So i came to Jolimia Salon & Spa and they did a fantastic job with my hair. I got a full conditioning treatment to give back some health to my hair. The staff is beyond friendly. The Salon is very clean and the best part are there prices!! I recommend this place to anyone.

I’ve been here for both hair and nails.This past weekend, I had my first hair cut, blow dry, and style with Khadija. All I can say is I wish I would have found her years ago! She did exactly what I wanted. For once in my life, I didn’t walk out of a salon with 4 inches cut off instead of only 1 like I asked. Khadija took the time at the beginning of the appointment to consult with me and figure out the style I was going for. The cut looks amazing, is exactly what I asked for, and she did a beautiful job styling it with bouncy curls - I went out with friends after and got lots of compliments. Every other customer I saw leaving the salon looked fabulous, too. Jolimia is a great spot for all things beauty - I highly recommend!

I love coming to Jolimia! I regularly get my haircut Anyriam. She has always cut my hair exactly how I wanted it. She is always on time, which I appreciate. I also recently got a gel manicure and pedicure with Toogii who did such a great job. I’ll definitely book my next nail appointment with her.

I am giving this salon 3 stars only because I feel the technician in particular was not friendly and somewhat snooty! Perhaps, I didn’t fit in suburban Virginia since I am somewhat urban but with no doubt sophisticated enough to know when I am being snubbed..! Lol. Anyways, the salon is clean, a bit cramped, but the front reception area was welcoming. My manicure and pedi with the exception of a toe polish smudge that was seemingly overlooked, but was decent. With that said, I would not return only because of the less than friendly technician. I did receive a text for feedback regarding my experience the next day from Kadija and I let her know my thoughts.I would add that it’s always a good thing to solicit feedback from patrons.Perhaps, the right fit and person would have a better experience at this somewhat obscure salon..This is the correct salon and I was there on 4/1.

A coworker recommended this place to me so I decided to get some highlights and a lash lift/tint. Khadija was great! I showed her some pictures and she gave me exactly what I had in mind. Angie did a nice job on my lash lift, although adhesive was left all over my eyelids which was a little uncomfortable to get off. However, I’m satisfied with both services and will be returning!

Worst place I have ever gone. Found it on Groupon with a good deal. Tried to schedule appointment many times. Once, I got confirmation and they cancelled on the same day. Next time I tried, they never picked the phone, left a message and received a call from them a week later when I didn’t need it anymore. Finally was able to get an appointment the day prior my Groupon expired. The staff members were nice but was a bad experience. The lady that got my nails done seemed to be on a rush. Got me a HUGE hurt when cutting the cuticle of one of my finger nails and tried to act as if nothing happened. My finger was bleeding so much and I asked her for Neosporin or something similar since it looked pretty bad but they didn’t have. Today, after 4 days I barely can move my finger, looks swollen and raw.Other places I’ve been, they help you to get your stuff ready, shoes and jacket on in order to not ruin the manicure but that also never happened. Angie, suggested me to stay longer and left the store right away after finished doing my mani.Def not coming back or recommend this place to anybody.

I used a Groupon to get a gel manicure. I was given a tech who obviously was fresh out of school or no schooling at all. It took her over 30 minutes to remove my acrylic nails, she had to keep asking other techs what to do and what to use. She burned me 3 times using the grinding tool to file down the acrylic. She ground my nails down so far they are like razors. I told her to leave the length on my natural nails but she didnt. The polish was put on unevenly. Its going to take a few months for my nails to repair themselves. I have pictures on my cell phone and will add the horrific job later. I just want to make sure people know this is a true review of my experience. The manager saw my nails and said oh thats a pretty color she knew it was a hideous job from the expression on her face. I had to be somewhere so I didnt have time to demand corrections.

I went in for a lash lift and Im not impressed at all. The woman never spoke to me other than to tell me to lay down in the table, and when she was done, my lashes are barely even lifted. I was expecting her to at least talk me through the process of wjat she woukd be doing next, because without knowing what to expect next i was surprised and flinching the whole visit. Just super unpleasant, and not calming at all. Speaking of uncalming, she played explicit pop music the entire time. Furthermore, she didnt even properly clean the adhesive off my eyelids, and they sticking to eachother at the crease. After all that, to just have such a weak outcome, was just crumbling. What a waste of time and money.

Was visiting from NY and had eyebrows hennaed. She put the henna on first and then waxed. They looked decent when I left but after three days, it’s a disaster. They are both too thin and one is extremely thin—they are not remotely the same size or shape. Terrible job. The photos on their website make you think they measure and are precise with alignment but beware—this is the worst eyebrow job I have ever experienced.

Nice meticulous job in my nails. However I had booked my visit under their buy one get one half off using a gift certificate I was given at Christmas. It should have been treated like cash. But they said it didnt count and I had to pay for another whole manicure to get the half. And they both would have to be used by March. Took a long time for them to figure that out, too.

I have been going to Jolimia Salon & Spa for manicures and pedicures for years now. I use Julia and she is the best. They have the best prices in town and the staff is always friendly. Highly recommend.

Went in for a facial- appointment at 10, they weren’t there until a couple minutes after. Sat and waited for 20 minutes and no one let me know what was going on. Unprofessional, rude, and honestly- the studio is not a spa. It’s not clean, and was just really uncomfortable. Im sure they’re fine at other services, I would just avoid completely because of how unprofessional they were. And def would not get a facial there.

I am so happy I went to Jolimia Salon to have my hair colored & cut. I am always nervous having someone new do my hair. But then meeting Khadija I knew I was in good hands. My color turned out just as I showed from a picture on Pinterest & the cut was perfect. I will be a returning client for sure. Also loved the online reservation process.

Lijia was amazing. I went in for a keratin treatment and had never had it done before, so naturally I was scared. But the results were great! My hair was manageable, less frizzy, and soft. I will definitely be going back.

Moved to Northern Virginia and was searching around for a hair stylist when I discovered Khadijah and now I wont let anyone else touch my hair. Every time I leave her I cant stop smiling because of how my hair looks. The last time I saw her I came in for a cut and highlights but had an event later and Khadijah gave me the most gorgeous curls that worked perfectly for the event that night. Would recommend this salon to everyone!

I went in to get my hair lightened 7/1/17 the final product almost looks like a color I would have done at home myself. My roots are lighter than the rest of my hair, the grey hair is completely visible and has been since the first day. When I left I was so tired, and the lighting there seemed like I turned out ok, not what I wanted, but something I could live with. Not until I got home that I realized my roots were copper tone and greys not even covered. I went in for a 1:45pm appt. didnt leave until after 4, which is not unusual but I would expect my hair to look like Ive had my hair professionally, rather than at home. The lady coloring my hair was nice, but disappeared after she set timer for color job and waited an additional 10-15 minutes after timer went off before someone on the chair next to us called one of the assistants to wash my hair. Then the lady that washed my hair took me to dryer, because it was so hectic in there, she took another client back for nails and forgot to turn on dryer, 5 minutes later another lady came by and turned it on. Then I finally saw the hair stylist that started with my hair again for the blow dry. I am completely disappointed I traveled so far hoping for a better outcome. I dont think I will return to this place unfortunately.

I found this place through Groupon when I first moved out to DC in 2015. Khadija has been wonderful to go to. I have gone from bleach blonde to brunette to everything in between and she has done an amazing job every time. All the staff is very friendly, I highly recommend!

I had a balayage done at another salon and it did not end up looking like anything I wanted - instead the colorist did what they thought would look best. Claudia and Khadija were so nice and actually listened to what I wanted! My hair looked so much better after leaving this salon!

It was my first time there for my gel manicure since it’s near my place. I checked online and their price is great and nice feedback from others. The place is clean too. Greeted with a smile and Nyamka really took care of me. She is very nice and asked me if the cutting and shaping are ok before she put the gel color on my nails. I’m happy with her work and her hand massage. I definitely will go there again! Nyamka also gave me a card and told me for 9 times manicure, I will get the 10th free. I bought a groupon for a Keratin treatment. I was in an accident in February and am going back to work on 7/6. I had color and cut at another salon that was horrible. When I got to Jolimia Salon, I told Liggia that I should have made an appointment for my color. She said no problem she would do it. I was a little nervous since I had it done elsewhere and it was horrible. Liggia did a fantastic job with the color and the Keratin treatment. She also knew I had some problems because of my accident and could not have been more caring or accommodating. I dont care if I have to travel an hour to get my hair done, but Liggia is my new beautician and Jolimia Salon is my new salon. Wonderful job

I had never received a bad treatment in a spa like here, a woman named JIJI IS SO RASISTA, that I personally never recommend this salon, I had 3 appointments in this salon I gave a deposit and that same day they gave me my appointments when I arrive, hee no He wanted to attend us, he looked me up and down, I didnt want to work, I said if my money is worth the same as the money of the others, I left that place and there was a storm.
