Great location that is clean and has friendly staff! I typically go at 4:30 and there’s a handful of people. Everyone has been respectful and as far as I’ve seen, cleaned up after themselves. Would recommend!

I love going in for a workout.If everyone does their part the gym is a pretty clean place. Everyone carries a sanitizer spray bottle to every machine and must spray it down before moving on to the next. The staff cant monitor everyone at every second so please remember to do so.These facilities offer protein drinks as well as Gatorade and water.

For a no judgement gym it is ok, plenty of machines and tons of cardio equipment. Just be ready to switch up your routine when it gets busy. Missing a star because the locker rooms could be paid more attention.

You can register Easley but they are taking the amount from your account forever.I called in to cancel my membership and they said that i have to do it in person while Inam in anothey County for work. They were very rude on the phone. I really wouldnt recommend them.

I signed up online in response to an advertisement I received in email, with the intention of using this gym which was near my work. Very shortly after I signed up, my mom fell ill in another state and died a couple months later. Needless to say, I never made it into the gym. However, when I called --from another state--saying that I wanted to cancel my membership, they refused, saying I could only cancel ON-SITE, despite the fact that I had signed up ONLINE. It was impossible to cancel on-line or over the phone. When you sign up on-line, do they warn you that there is no way to cancel? Why so easy to sign up but so hard to cancel? Sleazy tactics.Also, the promo said there was **no sign-up fee!!** Yeah, there was not a sign-up fee, just an expensive annual fee that was charged automatically within a month of signing up. How is that not a sign-up fee? Its all in the semantics.Point #1. Be very cautious about businesses whose policies are like a one-way fish trap...easy to deal with when they want to take your money, and another story when you need help.I finally was able to come into the gym when I came back to Virginia and cancelled my policy. At that time, I politely requested a refund for the months I was not able to use the gym (I had never used it) but had been unable to cancel. I was told that the manager would call me. No call. Weeks passed. Again I went to the gym to speak to someone. Again I was told that the manager would call me. Apologetically, I made follow-up calls. Weeks passed. No call. A third time I contacted the gym. Again I was told that everything would be passed to the manager (who this time was on vacation...no doubt spending a bit of my money). Do you think she called me back?Point #2. Be very cautious about business managers who have time to go on vacation but no time to call/email their customers.Because of this fiasco, I lost a fair amount of money and received NO, absolutely NO services in return.Everyone hates being cheated.

I love how clean and well laid out this gym is. Ive been to other Plant Fitness locations that smell like a gym shoe and that feel like a cave but not this location! Its clean, bright, and it offers a great overall gym experience!

I love Planet Fitness because I can get in and get a great cardio and strength training workout. I love that they are keeping the machines one space apart from each other as everyone doesnt like to wear masks while working out. I hope they keep this up.

There one of the more cleaner planet fitness gyms. Also just people friendlier as well. I enjoy going to this branch of planet fitness

Great place to work out. Just moved back on this side and looking for a planet fitness to transfer to. So far this is number 1.

I had a PF membership at a different location before for a good amount of time. But there’s something about this one where I have less anxiety when being here. Also, there is a manager (might not be a manager), but he is really great, very professional. I haven’t had the chance to get his name or let him know that I appreciate his work.

Planet fitness offers a -no intimidation- zone; its an emotionally safe environment where people dont have to feel discouraged just because they might not be in good of shape as everybody else. And that to me is worth every bit of my hard earned money.

I don’t have any problem with the Planet Fitness, but if you’re going to join Planet Fitness, I’d find a new location. First off, the people here are shady and the police have had multiple reports from people about the people at Planet Fitness. Second the manager is not a good manager and is not good at customer service. They may have one or two employees. I told you before that the people here are kind of shady, well I used the lock that is supplied by Planet Fitness to lock my locker and someone broke into it and stole all the money out of my wallet. When I told the manager lady, all she did was shrug her shoulders and walked away as if she didn’t care. If you’re going to use planet fitness, I’d jut find a new location if I were you.

We informed the front desk after our last visit in September that we were moving to Florida. Turned in our fobs and that was it, so we were told. They have been debiting our account monthly since. I talked to a nice young lady who refunded October and November and said she would take care of it and apologized. Again debits posted for December and January. I called and was told that I needed to come in and fill out a form to cancel our membership. Are you kidding me? I asked to have the manager call me . . . 4 days ago with two follow up calls from me. Do not give these folks your credit or bank information. Theyll keep taking you rmoney even if you dont live here anymore. From the looks of the traffic in and out I think they are hurting for business but thats no reason to continue to bill customers after they leave the state.

The fitness center is very well kept, with plenty of sanitizer. The staff is very friendly. The lockers and bathroom can be very busy, but the worker named Marcus is always there cleaning everything in there and sanitizing the areas.

They do not clean at all, all they do is sit and go outside to their cars sometimes and sit there for hours, this place is infested with cockroaches. Very disgusted

Some missing gym equipment but enough to work out fairly

During the era of COVID, I feel safer at Planet Fitness Huntington than I do at most grocery stores. Very thankful for the professional and friendly staff at my gym. Thanks, PF Huntington!

The gym itself is good for the price. Has everything I need. The rating is for the employees. This is the second weekend I am here and Im assuming an employee is late and the gym is not open. It is almost 8am and still noone. Complete waste of my time. This isnt too mention how miserable most of them are all the time. The place needs more accountable and personable employees.

Very clean location. The staff is very friendly. Thete are people even at extremely late hours on Saturdays. I usually do morning and its slightly busy then. One suggestion is that barbells would be nice and bosu balls/tension ropes. Otherwise the people are pleasant enough. I isually come in to get my workout in and head back out. So not really social for an opinion on that. Bathrooms do have pipe leaks...seems to be a trend at all of the planet fitnesses in the area which is very weird to me.

Prior today, Id wondered whether the apps crowd-meter was relative to normal capacity or pandemic-protocols capacity. Its the former, so, if youre planning to go, get the app, look at the meter, then double the percent full ...or be unsurprised if youre having to wait for everything.

The staff is nice and the facility is always clean; however, with the revised COVID-19 hours, customers time is a valued commodity and within the last two months, there has been several times that I have arrived to the location during the advertised operating hours (early bird) and found the doors still pad locked; along with other individuals sitting in cars waiting to get into the facility. This was never an issue pre-covid, so unsure where the disconnect is, but unreliable access forces patrons to create Plan B and the membership loses its value. After all, this is a paid for access service.Received the response from the owner and I am a bit insulted by the assumption that I would not verify changes to the operating hours prior, since I am traveling from Maryland, a quick review of my membership profile would have supported in the preparation of the respinse. Hence, I stand by my experience and rating.

Nice small gym. Its not for pro lifters. 2 benches. No medicine balls. Still has all black card amenities. Great for late night workouts. Mignight-3am.

Ive been a loyal PF regular for a couple years now and no matter which location I go to the Huntington one just feels like home. Ive always had a solid friendship with the employees here so I can only ever say positive things. The gym is always clean and despite some broken equipment in the past, like with any gym it takes time for parts to come in and fix things. Im actually surprised this is my first time giving a review considering this is my second home... but I really just wanted to come on here and get others input on the safety of returning to the gym. Ive been out of the gym since March because Im so paranoid with COVID. For those who have returned and have been in the facility, how has everything been? I really want to return...

So, I am on my way into this club to cancel a membership that I have not used in 2 years, and was just billed for. When, I called I found the club manager to be extremely rude, Lexy when I asked who I needed to write too in order to cancel this fee. I have never recieved anything but electronic emails, which have apparently billed me. The last time I used Planet Fitness was in Nashville TN 2 years ago. Unbelieveable, but when I called to find out how to cancel. Great stuck with a membership to gym I do not use. How sad.

This is my preferred PF location because its a newer space, newer equipment and bright natural light. Staff us friendlier than other nearby locations as well perhaps due to the sunlight. I do wish they had more than one Rear Delt/pec fly and a couple other stations but thats true of mist Planet Fitnesses. Sometimes you gotta wait. Or come mm8up at weird times.

Clean! One of their best location is in Alexandria VA.

Due to Covid, I have waited six months to cancel my membership. Before that, I have very pleasant experience with Planet fitness center. Then when I try to cancel my membership today, an agent named Pleer ( maybe wrong spelling) in Alexandria, VA gym started to yell at me for no reason ! So I come to gym to cancel my membership. He seemed nothing has happened and asked one of his colleagues to help me. I thought he may apologize for his previous attitude, but he didn’t... Such a disappointed experience with Planet fitness center finally. Although I have no idea about what happened to that employee, such unprofessional and rude attitude to a customer! Won’t try this gym any more!! Smile when you joined in, yell at me when you left...

Great staff & management.

Rude customer service came today to try it see if I will transfer from X sport. One guy came to me to ask me to move my small bag and put it in the locker. In my smile back I keep my hand snatiezer and mask. He came very close to me like he wanted to fight with me and my friend. Definitely not coming back you get what you pay for at X sport. I didnt study for 6 years for an uneducated person to come disrespect me under any circumstances.

This gym stole my money. The manager Tiffany Riggs is a thief. They billed me for the month of March then closed the gym 2 days later. I called several times asking for a refund and made it clear I will not be returning to the gym. Not only did they not give me my money they also charged me for the month of July after I told them I wasn’t returning. I have reported them to the BBB and I will be pursuing legal action for fraud and theft among other things.

Decent clean gym with a good amount of stuff to use. Staff is always super friendly. The only issue I had was peak hours being super crowded and it being hard to find space to work out what I wanted to work out. Go before 3:30pm or after 8:30pm.

I’ve had a membership for the last few years and have suggested it to my friends and family. I got a Black Membership for me and my son so we can travel and use the many Planet Fitness locations around the country. The staff is great, the equipment is new and readily available whenever I choose to work out.

Friendly staff, clean environment

This location is whack. They have now taped off all of the cardio equipment but 1 or 2 cardio equipment. While allow 15 to 20 individual to gather together in the free weight area. Then when you question it the say it policy. This location truly doesn’t understand how to social distance. The crazy part I really liked the location until everyday there was a new change since I’ve been come in June. I’m over it

Absolutely love this location - especially in contrast to the Falls Church location. The facility is always clean and organized and the staff is always welcoming and friendly. Specific kudos to Kevin, Dominque, and Ambrosia who were all helpful when I first joined and continue to be a resource for all my questions/concerns.

Good place for a workout, but staff need to ensure that members clean equipment after use. Too many times Ive witnessed members showing no regard for hygiene. Staff need to start enforcing by being on the equipment floor instead of behind front desk.

One of the smaller Planet Fitness but its close to home, clean and friendly/helpful staff. Only 4 stars bc of its size but other than that 5 stars.

The associates at this location are friendly and even remember who I am. The locker room is spacious and clean. A lot of the equipment has been newly installed and is very nice!

Because when I went there a lot of people wasnt wearing any mask no social distance when this pandemic is going on some people wasnt working the machines down after using it he just was unsafe put this covid-19 going on and I would never go back to that one Richmond Highway again until I see some improvement its just unsafe

Super disappointing that PF isnt enforcing mask-wearing during a global pandemic...at least at this location.Adding an edit in response to the manager response. Rules and requirements without enforcement doesnt work. I. Here now and of the ten people I can see, two are wearing masks.

Not typically a gym person but this place is great. All machines in good working condition. Clean. Great low monthly price for all they offer. I just visited FL and was able to use my membership there. I highly recommend, especially if you travel often and like to keep up on your exercise!

A decent Planet Fitness. The Staff is top notch. Greg was super helpful with my transfer to the Germantown Md. location. Made a lot of friends while training at this gym. If there is any down side to this gym, it is the size of the place, and lack of some equipment and they only have 60 lb dumbbells.Too bad PF doesnt put in squat racks

Great location off of Route 1. Friendly staff, very clean, usually not too busy when I head in (weekday mornings/evenings), and they just upgraded most of all their cardio machines to newer models! Its not a very large gym but they pretty much everything you could need and for $10/month, you cant complain much!

I just wanted to take time and thank the manager Mr. David (sorry If i spell the name wrong). I had a situation where I had to switch my club back to here at Alexandria. I understand that it was not a easy process as it hasnt been three month yet with my recent club. Mr David not only instructed me on what to do but also he personally called the manager of my recent club and regional manager to get my work done. I am just impressed!!!!I would like to thank Planet Fitness to have a such a kind manager to help people like us....

Planet fitness has changed my life. I cannot thank the staff enough on how much they have helped me during my transformation. To make a long story short, coming on April two years ago, I weighed upwards of 300lbs. Since then I have lost over 140lbs. If it wasn’t for the people of Planet Fitness I do not know if I could have ever have reached my goals. That’s why it is sad to see that someone would comment on Mario’s ability to manage. I have known Mario since the first day I joined Planet Fitness in mid-2014. Always showing the highest standard of professionalism towards his staff and me. If there is a problem, he fixes it. Always willing to help out and very approachable. I have never heard a negative thing come out of his mouth. I see him almost on a daily basis and has never done anything of the sort. If you are looking for a gym that is always clean, never crowed and has a staff that of the highest caliber, this is the gym for you! I am proud to call this gym the best out there!!

Its a very bad place. The people are rude, extremely; unbearably bad. Not one single decent person here. And, the staff is very bad. I have been told Im unimportant here and laughing at me. This place is bad. I stopped coming here. At least 1 gentlemen I encountered here was nice.

Very continent and pressure less. you can go in and out whenever you like so there is no excuse. nothing but great experience so far.

They could add some stretching machines like ALL other Planet Fitness franchises have and either fix that hydromassage bed for good or buy a couple of new ones. For some reason repairs are taking on average 2 months here. Calves machine broken? 2 months to fix. Hydromassage broken? Well, not fixed yet, but its only been a month. Entrance door broken? About 3 months in and still broken. Did everyone stop funding this place for repairs?

This location is awesome! The staff is great. The facility is perfectly clean. Equipment is in excellent working order. Plus, if you are a black card member the massage chairs and tanning beds are a huge bonus. AND you can bring a guest with you everytime! Love it.

This was my first visit to this location. The staff was very friendly and helpful. This location is clean and equipment works. Plenty of equipment to use during your workout routine. I just wish they had more hydromassage beds. Parking lot offers free parking directly in front of PF.

Its a very civilized and affordable place. Members and staff are great about keeping it clean. Theres minimal gabbing and minimal distraction. Its well run and hassle-free. Its a very, very nice neighborhood surprise.

I like that PF is open virtually 24/7. The location is convenient, and I like the large selection of machines, free weights, racks, and dumbbells.

Clean and friendly location!

Overall, it is not bad given the cheap price. I have been a member of many different gyms and planet fitness is good if you dont need classes to motivate you. I stopped going as frequently, just got too busy, and am going to cancel my account. I was going to change my mind and keep my membership active, but when I called to let them know that the staff member was very rude and he actually hung up on me. Instead, I will be joining LA Fitness again, it is a little farther away, but at least the people there were always nice.

Clean professional service

I really like Planet Fitness. Its everything it claims to be. I do wish they had a bit more equipment (a rowing machine would be AWESOME!) but there are size constraints to the building. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the other patrons are very polite and usually friendly. Its a diverse crowd: old, young, multi-racial, fit, fat... everyone goes there and its great. Ive never had anything but a positive experience.

Very clean, they offer classes and the price is just right. I can also visit any planet fitness when Im out of town

Facility is always clean. Only issue is that there are a lot of raise areas (bubbles) all over the floors. These areas prevent you from stable and balanced spaces to stand, lay, and place benches. One particular area is under the Smith machine by the mens locker room. These areas could cause injury and prevent a balanced workout.

Id give it five stars if it had towels and if you didnt need to go to the front desk to use the hydromassage. Super helpful staff and clean machines and bathrooms. Nice selection.

Clean, spacious facility and friendly staff

Great gym. Kept clean and always has machines open. Also cant beat the price.There was one time in the morning a few months ago when I wanted to use the hydro-massage bed and went back there to find a homeless couple sleeping in it, but that hasnt happened since so five stars 🙌

Nice, peaceful gym to workout at. No “beautiful body trainers” to make you feel like a slug. I see young and old, fit and not so fit, no one bothers you, ever. If you do need help, there are associates able and ready to help. I really enjoy it. Plus, it’s clean and it doesn’t smell like a sweaty gym.

My first visit here was not a great experience. The shorter asian gentleman was who helped us out. We asked about a special that is often promoted which includes only $1.00 down, and he said they dont have that special now and usually dont ever have it. He also mentioned that if in the rare chance they did, it only lasts a day. This seemed strange to me as that is the only special I have ever seen promoted. He told us that we were getting a great deal with putting $100+ down. Overall, he spoke down to us and when he asked where else we have been looking he spoke poorly of those gyms. Speaking poorly of others is not going to help their selling skills.The funny part is, fast forward two days to today and the special is now $1.00 down and the special lasts 2 weeks (not one day). With that being said, I will most likely join for the price (with a different salesman) but the customer service is very poor so far. Also, this gentleman mentioned to us that he knew that we were wrong about everything we were saying because he has been there for 3 months, which according to him is the longest anyone has been there. That just shows that your staff turnover is far too high.

Place is clean, staff is great.My only real complaint is the members dont believe in personal space. I am trying to get a workout in and random people are literally touching me as I am working out. And the fact is even more disturbing since I am an below average looking man. Seriously people, personal space.
