My 1st time there and loved it. I like the TV s at all the stations along with a massage and a facial steam towel. So refreshing. Im going back. I highly recommend it and the customer service was also outstanding.

I like the place and the beard trim was good. However, the price I saw online (Google pictures and online reservation price) was not the price I was charged. Im not one to argue in a store about price, but I wont be going back soon. $25 for a basic beard trim is to much.

I took my fiancé’s son to get his hair cut and I was charged the $25 for a hair cut compared to the other locations only being $17. When I asked about the prices they said they are separately own and charge what they want. I will never go back to that location again.

I had a great experience with Sara at Sports Clips. She was methodical, really cared, and listened to exactly what I wanted for my haircut. I am very picky regarding how my hair is cut and she delivered! Super pleased with the friendly service and awesome quality haircut. I will be going back!

Had a long wait and the staff didnt know how to work the computers. Hair cut was way over priced at 30 dollars and low quality.

The store used the Veterans Day advertisement to bait and switch services. I present for what was thought to be a complimentary haircut for Veterans Day and instead was given the most expensive haircut and then told that the special was $5 off. I was not in position to pay more than $30 for a haircut and the barber knew what she was doing. Afterwords, I was able to discover that one three sports clips in a 70 mile area offered the complimentary haircut. Sports Clips need to be removed from the listing of supportive establishments. Go to Great Clips instead as they truly honor veterans.

Been going here for about a year, and my last haircut here will be my last at Sportsclips. I had to prepare for a wedding and received a haircut where my stylist didnt listen or fully understand what I was saying and tried to shave my hairline, dont understand why; however, there are good stylists here and I have gotten good haircuts in the past but this was the last straw.

Ive gone here for years and if you want the one specific cut they are able to do its an ok place. It doesnt matter if i ask for long or short i always end up looking the same. The last 2 times in a row ive been here i asked them to only shape the hair and ended up with like several inches less. The first words out of my mouth was im trying to grow my hair out. Dont make it shorter just shape and do the sideburns. She immediately #2ed me and it was too late. Its very frustrating when they dont listen because all they want to do is 100 cuts a day that all look the same. Very hard to get any specifics out of them. They crank out boilerplate styles. Wont be coming back. Looking for a small business that will listen to what the customer wants.

I had a good experience here. Generally I like Sports clips. This was my first time coming to this one due to Springfield closing.

Called on Thursday asked what time they open on Friday. I was told 9 am. I arrived at 9 am of Friday and a sign confirmed 9 am opening hours of their temporary schedule. I waited, waited, and waiting. First staff showed up at 926 am. This is my first time at this location. So sad. Their online checking in is not available until 10 am. Requested the MVP service. It’s amazing. Very satisfied with service. Could not give a higher rating due to the time wait. Time is essential.

I used to love this place. I would take my son here. We’ve moved from several different states and always loved to find our “local” Sport Clips and they were able to feel like royalty with the MVP cuts. He’s been going to a sport clips since he was about 5 years old. We found one lady here that was great! But she left on a trip to China and we noticed she never came back. The manager or owner Lisa here is always so argumentative when you ask her questions. I usually had a frequent member card stamped, but she always found a reason to not be able to use it. Which was fine. But this last time I was here, we had checked in on line with no wait on the app. Walked in, and went to notify them, she took someone else that came after us. After seeing our name on the board. Our time went from 0 to 32 minutes. I have a baby with me, so hoping I would just get a quick cut for my oldest would be helpful, it wasn’t. My son looked at me and said, “She let us down again mom, let’s just go...” So Nope, once again, Lisa let my son down. He usually liked seeing his frequently stamped card. We enjoy loyalty with a company. One we can grow with. But not with this location. Hair cuts were also a hit or miss btw. Who ever you get, I hope we can get it right. My husband had to come back here 2x with another gentleman when a new girl made an uneven cut. So, just icing on the cake for not coming back here again.

It was ok. The cut wasnt bad but more hair was taken off then I had asked for. I generally prefer going to a mom and pops vs. a chain store. Usually mom and pops places get good barbers.

I have been going there for a few years. Sometimes I got a good haircut, sometimes not. When I needed a good haircut there were no guarantees. Also, their app to schedule appointments doesnt work. Complained when I received a corporate survey and I never heard back -- they dont care about customer service. Location is convenient but Im going elsewhere.

They are awful at cutting hair

Never going back again. Very inconsistent haircuts, And unprofessional staff. I had been going because it is a convenient location for me. I’ve been in more than once that I had to listen to one of their barbers arguing on the phone, once it even sounded like arguing with management. Then, today after calling in to get an appointment and being told they don’t take them anymore, I walk-in with one person in the chair and one Other person waiting. I’m in a hurry but I think I have time. After 15 minutes, and while the other person waiting is in the chair, someone walks in and the barber tells me I’m behind them and that they went and ran errands and came back. never bothered to tell me or the other two people that walked in behind me.

Ive read a lot of negative reviews about this sport clips, but I had a great experience. As an active duty military member, I always get a fade but I am very particular about my haircut. This is the first place in the area I like. I sat with Sedera and she was great. Very nice and was able to cut my hair the way I wanted. I had zero wait time on a Sunday afternoon which was amazing. Yes the parking is not great but if youre on google maps you can clearly see it and park in the huge parking lot right next door and walk a little, it wont kill you. Overall, great experience, nice staff and a clean facility. I will definitely return.

When I first stared going here I loved it. Staff was professional and cut my hair like I asked (very simple cut). Over the last few months the new hires have not held up to the same standards and I needed to almost argue with them to get the cut Im looking for. Unfortunately I will have to take my business elsewhere.

That was the worst haircut I’ve ever received. I’m ashamed to walk out in public with the haircut I just received. The first thing I did when I left the store was put my wave cap on and it sucks i can’t just wear it everywhere because I’m so embarrassed right now. It was clear that the person that cut my hair had absolutely no idea what to do and instead of saying so she just butchered my haircut and when she asked me how I liked it, i straight up told her I didn’t like it and she still charged me. I will never return and I will never recommend this place.

Weve always had a great experience with Young and Yasmin, today my son had Tina for a haircut. She was rude and abrasive and took 5 minutes to cut his hair. His hair is choppy and sticking up in the back. She told me to put product on it. We will continue to go to Sports Clips, but will never have a haircut by Tina again.

Unfortunately, I’m changing my rating from 5 stars to 1 star after a terrible experience that escalated to staff calling me and other customers (who I had never met before and had nothing to do with me) rude names. Very childish and unapologetic. A manager called a few days later to try and reconcile, but it wasn’t a great conversation either. Very turned off the by whole experience. It’s too bad because they’re not bad haircuts, but I will never return to or recommend this location again.

It say on the website that the Alexandria store is open but i just drove by there and the store is closed are closed or open fix ur schedule on ur website i want to call the corporate number to get with a higher person of staff

My wife and I are new to the area so she wanted her hair cut and went here. I used to go to my local sports clips in VB. But I always struggle to find fantastic hair stylists. Young cut my wife’s hair days before mine and it looks GOOD. My wife looks like a whole snack (she did before but her hair cut just made it even better).Anyway, I drove around for a whole hour looking for a place to get my hair cut. I decided I’d just go here since my wife did and it went great. So I show up, it took maybe 20 mins to get to the chair which isn’t bad. Young was working so I asked for her personally and she was super polite, very professional, and SHES A FANTASTIC STYLIST!!! I gave her my usual “1.5 faded to a 2, squared off side burns and the back of the neck, and 1 inch off the top, please”She did fantastic and nailed the haircut, also gave some recommendations on the lengths on the back, and I of course was like “Yeah I trust you”. And you should, the ladies here are great and they do care. She will now be my official go to for haircuts for my wife and I.I’d give them 100 stars if I could.

This chain is very popular back in my hometown so naturally I looked them up when I came to DC. Why do more people not go here in the DC area? Excellent service. Minimal wait time. Friendly and engaging. The MVP treatment is a bargain considering the personal touches.

Tina always does a wonderful job at making sure my cut is the best it can be. She doesn’t make you feel rushed and certainly pays attention to detail. With such a friendly staff, I would reccomend this location to everyone!

The entire shop is filthy the staff and manager is rude and absolutely can not cut hair. This place has gone down hill since 2017. CeCe and Deidra where the best and it hasn’t been the same since they left.

This Sport Clips is Completely Awesome.The Store Has upbeat Staff that welcomes you and makes you feel Great ! You can tell that the people that work here are happy to be their, they are always helping each other when one stylist is with a costumer the other stylist is making sure they are cleaning up for there co-worker so that the Customer doesnt have to come back to a dirty station after receiving the wonderful MVPs that they give! On my visit I received one of the best cuts I have ever gotten to be followed up by the Mvp treatment which was fantastic and I received what they called an instant replay that they are offering to all clients for Free that upgrade to the mvp in they month of July . This really Topped off my service today and I walked out feeling like a Million bucks!Thank you to all of the Ladies that work in this location for making my Visit Awesome.Bob.

I was at the store this Sunday and didnt want to leave. The Redskins were playing at 11am and they had the game on. This was a first for me....11am football! I think I counted over 10 large screen TVs. The place looks like the inside of a pro locker room. A great idea and fun theme for kids and adults. The hair stylists were friendly, didnt seem to be rushed etc. Place was busy....but not a long wait. There was a total of 3 stylists keeping things moving. Now that Ive been here, my son heard about it and wants to get his hair cut there as well. Will be a treat instead of a boring, bland hair salon. Thanks for the sports themed atmosphere, it was a good experience!

Went in tonight. My usual stylist wasn’t there, and man do I regret staying. I just spent 20mins with clippers trying to clean up a cut that I just got there. Terrible work, so much hair on my neck, around my ears, fade is uneven. The top is 3 separate lengths. That’s the 2nd stylist to butcher my hair there, but by far the worst so far. Then I realized I paid more this time than last. I only got a cut. Just terrible customer care. If the girls aren’t ready to cut hair, don’t have them cut hair. So disgusted. I’d give it a zero if I could.

This place used to be decent. New management raised the prices and gutted the good rewards system. The ladies are nice, but from what I have seen the store is understaffed. The parking is abysmal and wait times have increasingly gotten worse.

I had a family friend who went and they do not do a lof of cuts. Only basics. If you want a good cut, need to go to a very good barber.

I’ve been going to this location for months. Ivana is the best stylist there (I’ve tried many) and she’s the sole reason I am a loyal customer. Yesterday, I learned that she was forced to quit because her manager won’t accomodate a modified schedule. This is unacceptable. Please make it right or I will be forced to go somewhere else.

So, Ive gone here occasionally since it first opened. Early on the haircuts were OK, but have steadily gotten worse. I think its due to the turnover rate of the stylists. Anyways, I went in last week and was sat down with yet another new stylist. I gave her the standard description I give, and away she went. She seemed to be in a major hurry, until finally she slathers all this goop in my hair. Not sure why. I just wanted a basic haircut, and assumed it was some kind of hair gel. She asked if I could move to the sink to wash it out... and confused, I just said No, I just wanted a haircut. She then is like... OK, youre done. So I pay and leave with all this crap in my hair, and on my ride home I realize she put shampoo in my hair. Why?? No clue. Then after getting home and washing it out, I take a closer look at the cut and its pretty bad.

The worst! After signing up on line, still had to wait over 20 minutes. Complained and accepted the next available, only to discover that Kim the stylist and Sports Clips had no record of my style (not my first visit). While I was there, 2 other people walked out from frustration about the waiting and 2 others complained about their cuts. Do not recommend at all.

This Sports Clip in Particular has some good barbers. Take it from someone who is almost a perfectionist when it comes to haircuts amd doesnt just let anyone touch his hair. Theyre not only able to Deliver a consistent Haircut quality everytime but also are friendly and patient with all my requests. Overall a great location to get a hair cut. Expect them to be busy on weekends tho.

Everytime I come here, I’m always greeted and the sign in process is easy and simple, no appointments necessary. You can choose your hair stylist if you prefer or choose the first available stylist when they are ready. Hair cuts are decently priced and I always find myself getting the mvp pretty much every-time because after a haircut, i hate having loose hair ontop of my head, and forehead. The mvp you receive a head wash, which they use the tea tree oil and lather your head quite nicely and you leave the barber shop fresh out of the shower feeling and its not that badly priced either. So if you’re tired of the same ol same ol barber and you leave feeling like yu need to take a shower, save yourself that feeling and get the mvp here, plus you can watch sports while you get your hair cut

Pick a good time to go here and you will not be disappointed with your haircut.

Just a fair warning they apparently arent fancy enough to even cut a simple short haircut for a female and im saying this because they admitted that they can only do small simple cuts only and that they arent fancy like other places. Also she literally didnt even try to cut my hair she just sat me in her chair and gave a string of excuses why she couldnt(wouldnt) after i sat there for a good 20 minutes waiting.

Stylists allowed other patrons to jump people waiting in queue (these were other walk ins not people checked on online). Clearly poor management that reflected in the staff’s handling of their day to day business).

Just got my worst hair cut in a while :( having lived in that area for around a year - that was my go to.. until the last 3-4 months... a lot turn over.. no real consistency in barbers/skill setsToday, I took a chance on a new person... it was the nightmare bad fade that kept getting worse and higher on my head with every failed attempt to correct it 😩... hard to get mad at her... have to look at management .. what’s the credentials to cut there? And why so much turnover? People want a stylist they can stick with .. probably won’t be back again unfortunately

Had the mvp treatment today. My stylist thought it was a good idea to run the vibrating massager along my spine. My back is now swollen. Not only did she ruin sleep for me tonight, she also failed to give me a decent haircut. If you choose to go, avoid the elderly blonde lady - shell ruin your day.

If your an African American and go here get out, these people only are fit to cut white people hair overall theres a good barber shop down there no matter what race theyll do it.
