Ms. June Lyons is owner and an operator/stylist. I went to her for a hair rescue. My distressed hair did not faze her. With the excellent corrective products she has made my hair behave in ways I didnt think possible. To add icing to the cake...she was ready to put me in her chair at my appointed time. COVID-19 protocols were in place.

My first few times were good. The prices started changing for the same style and so did the quality. I have natural hair and it was not treated with care.

Worst salon experience ever!! Naturals, please especially be warned...go here at your own risk. This review is for June, the owner. Not only was she extremely rough with my natural hair (she thinned it out so much due to her “technique”), her customer service was deplorable. Not only did she overcharge me, but she actually refused to style my hair the way I wanted it - mainly because she was lazy. When I kindly questioned why she simply couldn’t add a few curls to my hair, she rudely told me to leave her salon and proceeded to open the door telling me to get out. What!!?? Everyone there was shocked by her behavior. Please! Please! Spare yourself the trouble and money, and don’t go here.

Before setting up an appointment I would be very clear on the type of service you are getting and what all it includes. I communicated with the owner about getting a wash, silk wrap and trim via text and she gave me one price. When I got to her salon and asked for a deep condition it added over $40 to the total. She also skipped steps in the routine like actually wrapping my hair at the end instead saying it already feels like silk as to insinuate that everything was done correctly. I will not discredit her work because my hair did come out nice, but when asked why the price was so much she became offended and made statements like my hair was tangled which, to me, is not a reason to upcharge someone. If you are natutal and know the complexity that comes with your hair, communicate that to the stylists.
