Had an appointment on 10/02/21 between 12 and 5, the driver shows up at 6:05 pm casually walking up my driveway like...I really dont want to be here. I explain to him that it is late and I have an evening engagement. He say Ill reschedule you and drive off not saying any thing else to me. I then make a phone call to SS and express my concerns to the SS operator she in turn gets me scheduled for the first appointment on 10/03/21. The technician that came on 10/03/21 was on time and very professional. SS gave me a 10% discount for being military yet nothing for the 6 hours wasted on 10/0221. I have been using SS for some 10+ years and now my wife and I have decided to spend our money elsewhere. SS you all need to take better care of your clients regardless to how long they have been using your services.

Wow! Oscar and his partner did an amazing job on our sofas, area rugs, and some coffee we spilled on our carpet! They were incredibly efficient as well - only took 2 hours. Very impressed with their professionalism, kindness, and overall super work. Nicely done!

Chris and Quan were pleasant and efficient and cleaned almost all the floors in my condo, plus two showers, in under an hour. Very pleased with the results and would call them again.

They also cleaned the grout on my floors and worked diligently to remove all stains in the carpet and removed and replaced furniture to get all carpet in a fully furnished room cleaned. They kept me informed of their arrival, informed me of a cleaning special they were offering throughout the next year and handled all cleaning requests professionally. I always use Stanley Steemer for all my carpet and furniture cleanings. I have been using them for over 39 years both in Ohio and Virginia, and I have always been impressed with their technicians. Today I met Wilson, a young polite hard worker. His work was excellent. He was able to get out a bad stain on one of my carpets. He didn’t give up until he was able to get the stain out. They were extremely efficient, polite, and informative. I have no complaints, except that they arrived at the very end of the five hour window. Five hours is an awfully long time to sit around and wait. But I don’t blame the crew for that.

My client made an appointment a week out for her wood floors to be cleaned. I am a Realtor, I made plans to have photos taken the next day. She was given a 12-5 window. The day came, we waited. At 4pm 2 men, Jorge and his assistant arrive. Within a few minutes he states that he is unable to clean the floors. He states that WE will not be happy with the results. Basically all they can do is use a vacuum and a floor cleaner. Hmmm. I wonder why at 4pm, the end of the day he would not want to start a project that would take him several hours? So I ask him, are you asking me or telling me? He said, I am telling you. So much promise. So much potential. We waited so long, only to be told it was not happening. What a disappointment. I asked why the people on the phone don’t mention this? He agreed with this statement. Just be warned. As Jorge said, it is just vacuuming and mopping. So save your money!

The gentleman who showed this morning were amazing! They were quick and did an excellent job removing some stains from my white area rug (dont get white rugs lol). I took off a star only because the window for them showing up as between 8 and 1pm. That is kinda crazy and makes it difficult to plan anything. When they got here at 8:30 I was shocked and would have appreciated a call on Sunday to say they would be here first thing. Otherwise i would def recommend.

It was necessary to have Stanley Steemer redo the carpet cleaning, which they cleaned several days prior to the redo request. Although it was a bit of an inconvenience, the Customer Service Representative was very accommodating and scheduled the redo right away. The Technician, Oscar Lazo, performed the redo. He was very professional and helpful. He did an excellent job. The great job he did is one of the reasons we will use Stanley Steemer for our future carpet cleaning service.

Actually had to downgrade my review because we had folks come in to do duct cleaning and while they were on time, courteous, and did a nice job with the ducts, the tubes scratched the floor up pretty badly. Attached is a pic.

I had my carpet cleaned and sanitized and they did a great job. They arrived a head of schedule, which was great. For 2 rooms they were affordable and reasonable, and the entire job was completed in less than 45mins. Highly recommend and would use them again!

Great job! Excellent technicians!!!This job was for a rental property I own. I always get spot remover AND the anti- stain stuff. These carpets are over 15 years old, the original purchase was a very thick high quality carpet, color is a neural taupe- they look brand new thanks to Stanley Steemer. They get cleaned once per year, like clockwork. I let them dry a full 10 days to ensure the carpets are bone dry before the furniture is replaced. I rent fully furnished, to military families who have just been reassigned to the area. The turn over is high.1. Online scheduling system is effortless to use. Really like it.2. Guys came out, were Super courteous, marvelously efficient.3. I alway remove as much furniture as possible from the house so the carpet in the rooms get really cleaned.I will use this company again and highly recommend them to others.

Dryer vent cleaning was ok, when the 2 men left it took us one full hour to clean up. I called and spoke to someone & they said another manager would call me by the end of the day. That never happened. Please dont use this service in your home. The filth that is left was unbelievable. They dont even wear covers on their shoes.

The 2 carpet cleaners that came were really nice and did a good job. BUT the window for service was 12-5pm. I got a call from dispatch at 4PM that they were on their way in 20 minutes. A few minutes later a got a call from the workers in the truck itself saying they would be there in 50 minutes. obviously dispatch overschedules - NOT the fault of the cleaners.

Had kitchen tile and grout cleaned. While the floor was still wet I was worried the grout had not come as clean as I expected. But after it dried completely 2-3 hours later, it looks great!

My basement flooded and I called Stanley Steemer to come and remove as much water as they could from the carpet. The two gentlemen (Chris and Alan) that showed up were very timely and professional. They got right to work, worked quickly and provided recommendations for next steps and how to mitigate as much damage as possible. This was obviously a stressful situation and the way they handled everything really helped put me at ease.

UPDATED REVIEW: The manager, William, reached out to me directly and informed me of the satisfaction guarantee. I appreciate his being willing to work with me to find a time that would work for the crew to come back out. We only had them re-do the wood floors, given our original experience, and despite some pushback from the crew (Im sure they were frustrated that they had to come back), the end result is much better. As such, I am giving them another star, as I appreciate the return visit and the improved work, but it doesnt un-do all of the original issues.Original review: Pretty disappointed with my experience with this company. The crew arrived well outside the FIVE HOUR window that they gave, all they did for my wood floors was sweep them (not sure why I paid for that, I have a vacuum), and they also stayed past the time they were supposed to (by 45 minutes). Added a ton of unnecessary stress during our move. Please don’t give a window if your company isn’t going to abide by it. I won’t be using this company again.

This was my 2nd time using them to clean my condo...when they sent 1 vs 2 technicians he did not move/attempt to move lightweight furniture (missing stains) nor placed it on styrofoam blocks as protocol...(hence not cleaning over 1/2 the room). I called about my concerns; they sent 2 techs the next day to redo the job. Excellent customer service after an unpleasant experience. I knew their quality standard was high... which is why I liked using them years prior, so I am grateful they made it right.

They had to come out a 2nd time because I was not pleased with the 1st guy. Micah came the 2nd time and was a big difference. Even adding the door cover so flyers didnt get in. If your not happy, just call them!

CJ came out on Saturday and was so nice and put in the effort to try and get out a pet stain/odor that we had on our couch. Unfortunately it still smelled quite a bit (it was a bad pet stain), so Terry and his colleague came out to try deodorizing it again and they were also really nice and really tried to remove the odor. Fingers crossed it will work! Regardless, all three gentleman were professional and had great personalities and they should totally start their own business! Stanley Steamer is lucky to have them.

Service provider was professional, courteous, and efficient. Did two rooms, a pair of chairs and an ottoman in about one hour. Does take a day for carpet to dry, 5-7 hours with furniture, so I did this when I was only person home, minimizing the impact. Saw the improvement after the cleaning.

Stanley Steemer arrived 1/2 hour early to clean four rooms. The employee they sent (Aquiles Alcala) was by far the best person weve ever had sent to our house in Northern Virginia (and weve been using Stanley Steemer for years)! Aquiles was extremely thorough, moved furniture and got up every stain I pointed out (which unfortunately with pets is more than wed like to admit). The wall to wall rugs, although quite old, look new and smell wonderful. Thank you Aquiles!

Not 100% thrilled. They didn’t move all the furniture as advertised, and the carpets were very wet when they left, which makes me think they didn’t extract enough water. The gentlemen were pleasant and arrived on time.

Technicians Barry and Jorge arrived on time and did a very professional job of cleaning my wall-to-wall carpet. They were able to remove two large coffee stains, which I had tried to pre-treat two weeks ago with special carpet stain remover.I was also pleased the company was able to accommodate my request that due to the bad weather today they sent the portable machine to come into my condo instead of the truck tank from outside.My only concern was Stanley Steemer’s policy of not permitting technicians to wear shoe protectors in the customer’s home since I have several expensive area rugs.Good job!

The cleaner that came did an amazing job.At frist i told him if he couldnt get the stickness from the two sided tape just leave it alone and i would take the carpet up but he told me he would do his best and he did .Thank to him my carpet is looking great again.

Frustration begins with the multiple delays. We were first informed the cleaning would be between from noon-5. At around 4, we were informed it would be between 4-7. When I called again before 7pm, they said it will now be towards 8pm. A little after 8pm my wife decides to take the dogs for a walk and notices a Stanley Steemer truck idling around the corner from our house. The technician was sitting in there with his feet up and watching some game on his phone. Who knows how long he would have stayed there if my wife had not knocked on his window. The cleaning took less than 15 mins since it was just one room. The actual cleaning was good but everything leading up to that point was a nightmare!

The deep clean and the protective options for my couch and chair is awesome! The ability to get an apt on the same day was amazing! And all employees I worked with (2 on the phone and 1 in person) were so polite and accommodating! Thank you!....dog hair is def not easy lol

Victor was great! I called as a second chance for an experienced tech to come out and apply spot remover and more grit (than the other tech that came out originally). Victor got the job done much better! I would like to have him out for the carpet cleaning next time!

The technician was put out about having to do the work requested and claimed he didn’t have the “right tool” to remove dog hair, although the website specifically mentions they will remove pet hair. Will not recommend.

Stanley Steamer came out to clean our carpets for our move out. They walked through to make sure they were doing the correct rooms. They went to work and finished within an hour. The carpets looked great for already being old. They also cleaned the downstairs wood floor. I would recommend. I love you can schedule appointments online instead of having to call. That makes it super easy with 4 kiddos.

This company stole $1700 from me.I recently called the Stanley Steemer for a pacific job, if they do mold cleaning. Representative stated they do, Stanley Steamers came to the house and did a terrible job.Once they finish cleaning the vents, I found out Stanley Steemer do not do mold cleaning. I called back the representative asked About this, at which time she stated They (all of a sudden) NOW do not provide that type service but will a manage to call meI told company I would like my money back because they lied to me and the service I wanted wasn’t provided at all. The managers wanted an tech to come back out to do the service again to clean, I stated if you do not provide the service that I want and was lied to......what’s the point of you coming out to do .give me back my money plain and simple

I cleared the entire hardwood floor area and when they arrived, I was told they couldn’t clean my hardwood floors because there appeared to be wax on them (I’ve never waxed my hardwood). I usually have excellent experience with Stanley Steemer. However, this time one of the techs, Mr. Lopez, expected me to accept the way he substandardly cleaned my furniture. After having to debate with him, the other tech thoroughly cleaned my pink chair correctly. Lopez didnt clean the back of my sofa. His process was not satisfactory. His partner is great.
