I am happy with Turing Point and the caring professionals that made all the difference for my family. The staff at Turing Point are extremely professional, they took the time to assist us without putting pressure. They were interested in our personal welfare; and got us the professional help we needed, understood the importance of the situation and ensured us the matter at hand will be addressed immediately. My loved one benefitted from this program and today is doing very well. Special Thank you to Jeremy, there are no words to express my gratitude, I truly believe you are Heaven sent. Thank you to the staff of Turing Point.100% recommend Turing Point.
I just left Detox today, this place LITERALLY saved my life. The staff are all amazing, they treat you like a person, laugh with you, are all compassionate, they actually care about you, and make sure you are very comfortable. The food is great, everything is comfortable, it really takes the edge off of detoxing, if you need detox and want a safe detox that isnt just a detox but also gives you the tools you need to stay sober, this is the place. I have nothing but amazing things to say about TPRC and its staff. Dont wait till your liver enzymes are super high like mine were while I was fretting about going to detox, go to TPRC! They will take care of you and get you the help you need. You will not regret it. I am starting the IOP as well! Thanks Yall.Josh
The staff there are super awesome. Seem very sincere. Thank yall for everything
After intake with jeremy, and all the staff there i returned home to my famly. thank each and every one of you. yall are awesome!! loving and kind!
All of the staff are so amazing and kind here. Only Carina (corina/karina??) is absolutely rude and should not be answering phones or working while so insensitive.I’d give this place 5 stars otherwise, between the outpatient detox and the IOP, the staff want to See you succeed and get to a better place in life! Very supportive and inspiring people.
Great and friendly people work at turning point they having an awesome IOP program and theyre sober living program is super awesome. Of the people that work here theyre pretty cool people to get you on your feet and onto new lives in less than a week. I would recommend this place.
The whole process of the intake assessment superceded my expectations. Jeremy and Natalie made me feel completely at ease and that I was going to be taken care of. Victor is my counselor and gives me a lot of good constructive input. Im thankful and blessed for Turning Point Recovery Center
Turning point recovery and focused recovery of New Mexico are the gateway to turning your life around. They have shown me how to love myself and forgive myself. The staff are kind and helpful and understanding of what it means to be in recovery. They don’t judge you. I am now celebrating 3 years of recovery and loving every minute of it. I am a recovering meth addict my life spiraled out of control but after dedication to working the steps and staying abstinent I am experiencing a life I could’ve never imagined with my family. Thank you focused recovery n turning point for all of your support and love!
The staff (family) at Turning Point are truly amazing! From the first day my brother spoke to Jeremy in admissions until the present, this team has worked so hard to help me in my recovery!! I was so afraid in the beginning, Jeremy’s voice on the phone put me at ease, and could relate to me through his own experiences. Everyone is so wonderful, professional and knowledgeable! Julio, Megan, and Amanda helped me through one of the toughest times in my life at the detox facility. Afterwards Nate, Destiny, Sandra, Paul, and Dana have helped (and continue to help) me so much along my journey! I wish to thank all of these folks from the bottom of my heart!! ❤️
Turning point is a great resources for those wanting to get sober/clean. They employ CPSWS!! And they involve the community in fun activities for those in recovery as well. Awesome place
I see the impact turning point has in the community and the lives of people I personally know. Its refreshing to know that they have staff members who are in recovery and know first hand what its like to go through the services they offer. I had the pleasure of going to some of their events. As well as reccomended their services to people I know who are in need.
I would highly recommend this place if you are struggling with addiction. They have well educated and experienced staff who genuinely cares. Also the owner truly cares about the patients and their road to recovery. If you are sincere about getting clean this is the place to go 💯👌🏼👍🏼
The Turning Point staff are so welcoming and knowledgeable. I find it admirable that they are employing CPSWs who have the experience to reach addicts on an equal and empathic level.
Finding recovery from drugs and alcohol has been the best thing I’ve ever done in my life. After years of struggling, in and out of different programs, I checked in their detox and was made as comfortable as possible. The food was great, the detox house was nice and comfortable and the care was better. The team of techs was actually responsive to my needs and concerned about my health unlike many of the others in my experience. I now run into many of the folks who work there in the recovery community and when I do, I let them know how much I appreciate their efforts. I’ve been clean for more than 2.5 years and it all started with Turning Point’s Detox house.
I literally love Turning Point. Paul is genuinely interested in the well-being of the clients. Hes always looking for ways to improve the quality of service and it definitely shows! The therapist staff is highly qualified with years of experience and they work very hard for their clients.
Ive had the opportunity to work with Turning Point for many many years. I can have interacted with a large part of the staff and have spent a lot of time with the owner. I can tell you that everyone at Turning Point truly cares about the outcomes of their patients. They are dedicated to helping people suffering from addiction to find a new path towards recovery. If you or a family member is suffering from addiction and are looking for help I can tell you that you will find caring and understanding professionals when you reach out to the team at Turning Point.
Most treatment centers do not care about the person struggling, but I can honestly tell you that Turning Point Recovery Center does. The staff all listened to my concerns, and helped me navigate them. If you are looking for support TPRC is the way to go!!!!!
What a great place to start new !! Jeremy Cordova was the first person I came into contact with and he really is a great asset to Turning Point! He was very calming and helpful in the first step of recovery. Thank you Jeremy !!
Turning point has changed my life forever! It has changed the way I thank, act, and live! The staff has shown me a new way of life and how to make better choices! The love for there clients is uncanning. The staff digs deep and goes beyond that of just substance abuse! I will carry there gideance with me through my journey! Thank you Turning point and Focus recovery 🙏💙❤️💓
I recently completed the ten week intensive outpatient program at Turning Point, and it has completely changed my life! I have tried to quit drinking many times on my own, and was never successful for more than a couple of months. I was so scared my first day at the center, but right away other clients introduced themselves and made me feel welcome. The therapists are great, very caring and knowledgeable. The program gave me a lot of structure and support during a very difficult time. I would highly recommend this program to anyone who is ready to begin a happy, healthy and sober life!!
The admissions team were pretty awesome with getting insurance to cover and was able to obtain the services that have been needed for far too long for both myself and family and am looking forward to a better future for us all! Thank y’all so much!
Thxs to Turning Point Recovery I just celebrated 2 yrs clean/sober. Their counselors and program have gave me the tools to stay clean/sober for this long. I successful completed their iop and I was doing peer support for a few months. I highly recommend this place. ❣❣❣
If I could give turning point a million stars I would they are set up and do things that help people who want to get sober stay sober staff is awesome the owner is awesome I have never had a bad experience
Paul is awesome! Staff was very helpful and knowledgable.
TPRCs IOP is the best in town!
DO NOT GO!!!!!! Worst place ever! Only 1 counselor has had experience with addiction. The owner has no experience either. It’s a business not a health facility. They only care about your money not your well being. Counselor was threatening and judgmental. 90% of our group relapsed. Not good statistics
It was a blessing to at turning point .everyone was so welcoming ..thank u everyone..
I love working for Turning Point. My co-workers really care about the clients and their recovery process.
As a therapist that works in the field, I refer clients to TPRC often. They absolutely know addiction and have an amazing and well-qualified staff. Their Detox and IOP is top-notch and the owner is a compassionate expert that bends over backwards to educate and advocate in the community for better addiction resources. I love the fact that they work with the client AND the family. Thank you for doing what you do!!
I was initially very fearful of starting a treatment center. After inquiring about which facility to enter I kept hearing the same thing over and over again. Turning Point. It was the overall favorite amongst every physician I spoke with.I called and spoke with the owner, Paul. Immediately after speaking with him I knew that I was going to be okay. He understood what I was feeling and carefully explained the process to me. He never rushed me or pressured me. He was just what the doctor ordered. I knew he could be trusted with my life. The facility and staff where amazing. They knew my name and nurtured my new recovery like they were my family. The program is comprehensive consisting of group and individual counseling, a psychiatrist, guided meditation, Naltrexone and other meds if needed. After completing the program I was confident in my recovery because I knew that Turning Point had my back even after the treatment. The counselors, therapists, and physicians all had my best interest at heart and never let me down.Im now ready and prepared to begin my journey of recovery with a solid foundation and a recovery network consisting of my group at Turning Point. They are some of the best people Ive ever known. You can trust your life with them. I did.
We would like to commend the team at Turning Point Recovery Center - A welcoming facility and very professional staff, dedicated to getting people the help they need. Turning Point is truly making a difference in the fight against addiction in our community!
I found this place through a friend who had done a thorough search for the best recovery centers in Albuquerque. I had never attempted to ask for help & didnt even know what an IOP was. I did an initial assessment & although it was lots of paperwork I think they were just trying to get a clear picture of where I was at. Then I had a 1on1 with one of their intake people to see if I would be a good fit for the program. After talking for an hour or so, we both thought I would & they gave me the some information to look over before I started the 10 week IOP. I now knew this was intensive out-patient program. And it was. It’s always kind of awkward, new, scary walking into a room with people you don’t know for your first group & your first step to recovery but the atmosphere & the people that work there are great. I don’t want to get into specifics because they will be different for each person, but what I can tell you is that I just completed my 10 week IOP on 1/21/15 & have never felt better! I learned so many valuable ideas, tools, ways of thinking, ways of being, & life lessons here. The people that I met in group, even our counselor, will be friends for life as well as a great support system on my journey of recovery. If you do decide that an IOP is for you, sign up, be the first to say hi to everyone you see, make friends, jump in, do the work, do more work, do extra work, work the program as hard, scratch that, HARDER then you ever worked your addiction whatever that may be & trust in yourself.
This alleged Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is for profit and is essentially a scam to feed off peoples desperation and to suck at the teet of insurance companies who pay claims to them. They cram as many people into a session as possible (in my group the night I attended there were 13 people! Yes, 13 people!) and try to beat you down and brainwash you to keep you in the program and the payments coming in from the insurance company. In fact, it appears they target those most desperate and vulnerable but who also have full insurance coverage so they will stay as long as possible. My moderator, alleged CADAC, Sean, lacked any evidence of formal classroom management skills (Im a former school teacher, teacher trainer and school administrator) and even attacked his own family as part of one discussion. It was dumbfounding. The one positive? Well, they provide lots of snacks-they must have lots of cash left over after they grift over the insurance companies/health plans that they bill to. Earlier, I also tried Kaseman Behavioral groups IOP and at least there were only 8 people in their group (still too many to really accomplish anything of real value but I have heard they have had groups as small as 3). In closing, since they are for profit (and I am a capitalist libertarian), it appears they are all about rushing you into the program ASAP and trying to maximize the volume of paying customers at the expense of real therapy and progress. I was completely and utterly unimpressed.
