Rick has skill and expertise in sewing machines. He also sharpen knives for the Santa Fe Opera. Awesome!He is fair, knowledgeable, and reliable, you wont go wrong.

Rick mostly does industrial/commercial sewing machine work, but he also helps people out with home machines. Helped me with mine, and had replacement parts available right in the shop. I learned so much too! Thanks Rick!

I had an excellent experience yesterday with Rick in Adjust in Time. My sewing machine had a broken part and I called Rick in regard to the problem and he was able to get me in the next day. I live in Santa Fe (one hour from Albuquerque) and Rick was so accommodating that he arranged to do the same day repair while I did a bit of shopping. In addition to the broken part he found a malfunctioning gear, which he replaced. His charges were very reasonable for the work done. My 40 year old sewing machine is working like it is new! I appreciate his expertise and his forthright, honest manner of dealing with clients. As to the most recent review, I am also a person of color and he treated me with utmost respect. I recommend Adjust in Time without reservation.

Had an *amazing* experience with Rick of Adjust & Time. He did a same day repair and quickly got my machine working beautifully. Rick worked for decades repairing machines for Levi Strauss and knows how to fix any machine old or new! Plus hes just a really nice guy with fun stories. Hell explain how your machine works. Plus his prices are very reasonable. Highly, highly recommended.

Dropped an old industrial machine off and Rick had me all fixed and ready to go in only 4 hours! I was expecting at least a couple days lile the other shops but wow this man knows what hes doing. I will be coming back!

Adjust and Time should not be allowed to continue working on sewing machines. The owner, Rick is aggressive and incompetent person who does not ve quality work or basic respect for women, specifically women of color. From our interaction, I felt that Rick verbally abusive, condescending and rude. I requested him in a calm manner to repair my machines. I spent over $250 to do a simple repair on my two sewing machines. The machines were not repaired correctly and came back in worse condition than before. Due to this inappropriate experience, we will be reporting his business to the Better Business Bureau. Men who interact with women in such an aggressive manner should be called out on their inappropriate behavior. It is unacceptable and will not be tolerated. Shame on him and his business.

Rick has a lot of experience fixing sewing machines! When I showed him what my problem was, he identified it immediately and showed me exactly what the problem was. He oiled and cleaned out my machine, and sent it with me in less them an hour. Very nice, knowledgeable, and I would highly recommend him. Next time my machine needs help Ill be going back to him.

For sewing machine repairs by a knowledgeable technician at fair prices, I highly recommend Adjust In Time. I took my 40-year old Kenmore to Rick, after another repairman left it running improperly despite returning it for attention three different times. The stitches were uneven and the motor seemed to strain in a way I didn’t recall it doing before. Imagine my surprise, when Rick called me in less than two hours from my dropping it off to say the machine was ready. It turns out, the other repairman had two belts reversed. In Rick’s hands, the mistake was corrected and now the machine works perfectly. Rick’s prices are very reasonable, especially considering his skill and courtesy. I am absolutely thrilled to have found him and hope he continues to offer this important service to Albuquerque for years to come.
