I have lived here for almost 3 years and I have to say it is the best apartment complex I’ve lived in. They are kind and courteous as well as transparent. The maintenance is very good at prioritizing Eagan needs to be done. I have recommended this place to many of my friends. Great place to live.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! I had called to help my friend with a rent question because the manager LaTisha was discriminating against them. I have never talked to anyone so rude in my life! I have been in property management for 16 years and we had to contact THEIR legal team in order to get the corrections that we needed. I have no idea how this woman is even still working at this place! So unprofessional and the way she discriminates against people is completely wrong and illegal. I hope management makes a change sooner rather than later.

I just wanted to share my opinion the staff here at Casa Tierra has been extremely professional and kind. I recently just transfer to one of their upgraded apartments the manager was extremely understanding and worked with me on the full move. I have lived here for over 10 years. I would recommend this place to anyone.

I absolutely love everything about Case Tierra. The apartments are lovely. The location is super convenient. Latisha, the new manager, is AWESOME. She has a knack for selecting the BEST residents and is always courteous and professional. Latisha has made a GOOD apartment community into a GREAT apartment community. I highly recommend Casa Tierra to anyone looking for a peaceful, well run place to call home!

Is management going to compensate us for everything the roofers are damaging?? Thank you for the notice we got today letting us know about the roofers that woke us up this morning. They’ve been here for over a week but thanks for sending the notice out today! I have mold, dust, dirt, grime, who knows what else coming from the inside of our roof. It’s all over our bathrooms, it ruined our bath rugs, it ruined the pajamas I had in the bathroom, they broke both vents (even though they barely worked before and management refuses to fix them). Our utilities have tripled since the “new management” took over. When we question it, they tell us it’s because the utilities are being billed for longer periods. It doesn’t make any sense. The new management is horrible. I’m pretty sure everything we’re breathing in from the roofers isn’t good for us and our kids.

Management changed three times in two years and the changes did not improve the quality of service. Staff was very misleading about amenities and prices. Read the lease very carefully. Washer and dryers are bad and make clothes smell. Don’t expect to get any maintenance requests fulfilled in a timely fashion, even simple ones. Pool was frequently closed. Frequent checks on the apartment without 48 hour notification. On the outside things look nice, but I don’t recommend living here.

I took a tour today for a one, and two bedroom apartment the staff was very friendly and took the time to show me around the community, and answered all of my numerous questions, I would definitely recommend this community to anyone that is looking for any apartment. I will be coming back to rent either a one or two bedrooms soon.

The new management is TERRIBLE. I am moving out as soon as my lease is up solely because of Latisha- her management, unwillingness to get things done, lying about when maintenance is coming, readiness to evict anyone even when the issue is on her end (my online payment wasn’t going through when they changed the website), and her nonchalant attitude when I have to repeatedly call the office to get things done/figure things out when it is HER job. She is one of the worst people I’ve ever had to deal with.

Yesterday me and my girlfriend had an apartment tour for one of the units that was available to move in, we had a tour with Jasmine. She didn’t really go through all the rooms with both of us and what specifically needed to be updated, just stood there and was not really listening to the questions that we had for her, which is not professionalism for her job. I was a little bit concerned because we are going to be new residence there.

Be careful. They are contracted with asswholes that will boot your car even if your car is registered!!!! They Dont care what situation is in. They will make you pay!!!!!! Luckily, I was able to cut the lock and get my property!!!!! They are suppose to inform you or put up signs!. I dont even live there. I stopped by to see family. Very unwelcoming place. If you do live there I suggest you move some where else. Supposedly thats privet property even if you live there. Read the fine print! You can brake the lease if they fail to fix anything as well! Its new Mexico law!

I wish our apartments were kept up, such as the laundry room, grounds, and our breezeways everything was always kept up and clean!..When I moved in 6yrs ago this place was beautiful. I actually felt like I was living in the top of the line apartment/condohomes. There was never no drama and it was clean!! Were always under new managment and this complex has gone down. Im really sad about it for as much as I pay here! Miss the days when the complex would have bbq and events for us, made ius feel as we were like a a lil family here. Now were just another apartment..😔

Management changes and turnover have left things a bit chaotic lately, but as things are settling back into place and jobs are being filled with the right, qualified people, Casa Tierra is quickly turning back into the place we fell in love with when we moved in almost 2 yrs ago. Pretty landscaping, access to fitness facility and laundry facility, pool (seasonal), convenient parking, generally good value. Quiet community most of the time, in a well-established neighborhood. Townhouses have a small private yard which weve greatly enjoyed. Pet friendly. Mostly young families or retirees.

Update 30 Jun 2019: Still waiting on parts for washing machine in unit. Its been a week since move-in date.We had to move my wife to Albuquerque for her next military assignment. Looking for an apartment where shed feel secured and the drive to/from base was no more than 20 minutes started to be a real challenge. Until we chanced upon Casa Tierra. We were very fortunate to have met Heather on the very first day. I doubt we would have signed the lease if it was Mark sitting at the desk when we arrived. The difference between Heather and Mark is night and day. Heather proudly represents management with compassion and empathy for residents of Casa Tierra. Weve interacted with both Heather and Mark, and my wife and I have so much more confidence with Heathers dedication to Casa Tierra and its residents. With regards to the apartment itself, it wasnt perfect but it was so much better than most weve looked at. Our AC wasnt working when we moved in, but maintenance was there to resolve the issue on same day once we notified Heather. There are little things that needed some fixing, but we understand the difference in critical and non-critical issues. We listed everything on a form provided by Heather (baseboards damaged, outlets not working, washing machine not starting, etc...). We highly recommend taking Heathers advise in spending at least 72 hours to complete the form as you go through your daily routine to identify any issues. We saw a couple of roaches since moving in, but nothing significant to be considered as alarming yet.As far as amenities, I saw a pool, a workout center, a clean laundry room, and my daughter was extremely excited with a sauna. Ill provide more updates if we ever use any. Which leads me to my night and day comment. When we submitted our form, Mark was sitting at the desk to receive our form. Typically, resident(s) will receive an amenity key when turning the form in. Unfortunately, there was no available amenity key at the moment and Mark told us it may take a few days to get new ones. We had a broken washer and we needed to do laundry. We continued to check with Mark for the next couple of days with no significant response. Today, 25 June 2019, we asked Heather same question/concern. She did tell us that washer replacement is forthcoming and that there are still no available amenity key. She initially provided the same answers as Mark, but heres the difference.....without asking, Heather took out her amenity key from her key chain and gave it to me. When I offered to return it after we do our laundry, she told us to keep it instead while shell get a new one made. THATS THE DIFFERENCE!!!!Id be remiss if I didnt mention the golf course next to Casa Tierra. This was also a reason for choosing this apartment.

My husband & I lived at Casa Tierra from December 2013 through March 2014. This was an out of state move. While my husband toured the community the previous fall, we did not see our place until we arrived, after wed signed a lease via mail & e-mail.The apartment was spacious, with lots of light. The carpet was nice & clean, and we loved the wood-look vinyl floors in kitchen, baths & hallway. While kitchen and baths were old, there were brand new kitchen appliances. The laundry facilities are great - plenty of large machines means you can get it all done at once. Parking was easy. The grounds are beautiful. There are lots of good stores within walking distance, including a Sprouts.Front office staff and maintenance first-rate.

I used to love living here. The office staff was always friendly and the maintenance was prompt. Now, its been around a month (or more, I cant remember the exact date) that my daughter hasnt had a fan in her room because the electricians they hired to rewire things were a joke. It gets very hot in her room. We were promised it would be taken care of soon but it still hasnt happened. I put in a work order for four things today and got a response that one of them (the least of our worries!) would be taken care of by Thursday! Thats four days from now! The manager is nice enough, but I feel as though she was left to do this all alone. One person cannot manage a property like this alone with just one maintenance person. I feel as though she is overwhelmed and this cannot be good for either the company or the residents! Ridiculous! I blame Monarch. I really miss the old management for their promptness and caring. The second star is for the beautiful courtyard. But they are tearing that up right now, so who knows...

My kids & lived at Casa Tierra while I went through a very rough time (divorce). The apartment was gorgeous & staff were warm, professional as well as attentive the entire community. I observed many interactions between staff and residents, and even when there were some salty residents in the office (which was rare) the staff remained professional and attentive. If you just read your lease, ask questions and use common sense, you can eliminate all of the negative reviews that are mostly just people who probably did not do just that. My kids still talk about how much they loved the apartment, pool & resident events! Thank you Casa Tierra for helping turn a bad time in our lives into a warm and happy memory.

Im living here right now, and I cannot get ahold of the apartment complex to come and take care of anything; so, I am writing this review. Do not move in here unless you want to live in a cockroach invested, outdated trashcan. We didnt have air conditioning in the middle of summer for weeks because the maintenance couldnt take the time to come and fix our air. The sink never stops leaking. The garbage disposal doesnt work, and leaks water. The dish washer doesnt give out water to clean the dishes. The plumbing is terrible. The air system is even worse. The vents are on the floors in the most inconvenient spots, so the upstairs never cools down. All of the blinds broke the first week of living here. They didnt have our washer and dryer set up until a week after moving in, when they said they would have it a week before move in. We called the office several times, and asked over and over for them to send maintenance to fix everyrhing, and it took weeks!! Ive tried to get them to spray for bugs multiple times. I set up two different days for someone to come. I stayed home all day, both days, and no one showed up. A guy came to check our fire alarms without any notice beforehand. One roommate trusted him to lock up before he left. When I came home that night, our door was left completely wide open; not just unlocked, WIDE OPEN. The management sexually harassed my roommate at our pool! They dont have mail keys for us. They required us to find our mail keys at whatever post office they were located at. They are extremely unorganized!!!! They dont have any security at night. The lighting in the house does nothing. How would we have known all the appliances sucked upon move in, and that the complex would not try their best to make sure we are comfortable and happy? I cannot wait to move out.

Been waiting for 30 to 40 minutes for maintenance to open the laundry room on a Saturday. Ive had to call three times to see what the issue was and been told they would call back. Nothing. The worst service to be honest, obviously dont care about tenants.. even when called numerous times. And been told they would insert a new door in a couple days for the past two months. Not crossing my fingers for this place to get it together. Not recommended for busy people who have a set schedule because things like this will set you back.

I have lived in these apartments for about 6 months it was the worst experience of my life. An older short lady that works in the office is real racist, I mean she has to be one of the most racist people I have ever met. I posted this publicly because this is the truth you have my word as a man. She started off nice like okay and this and that, after she found out my roots are from the Middle East it all changed. I was born and raised here I am an Arab American but she does not care the blackest soul I have ever seen.

If I could give them zero stars I would. When we moved in 6 months ago things were great and I loved our manager. Since my move in date we have had 2 other managers and numerous assistant managers. Management now, Julie Custer is the rudest and most arrogant lady ever. I have had people try and break into my car and steal motorcycle on several occasions. I caught a peeping tom in my back yard, the laundry room has been broken into, peoples clothes are being stolen out of the laundry room, and management and maintenece have zero respect for the fact the I work nights and I am a day sleeper. There has been a multitude of notes being put on my door so maintenece can enter my apt, then they dont get time and put a note for the following day, so I have to lock up my service dog for days at a time while I sleep or get woke up numerous times when I am sleeping is ridiculous! Usually you get what you pay for, but obviously in this case that is incorrect. High rent prices, crappy management and invasion of privacy multiple times a month, save your money and live somewhere you will love.

Ive been here 10 months and i am so ready to leave this place! New management obviously doesnt spray for bugs because as soon as they took over there are bugs everywhere! I complain about my upstairs neighbors every week and nothing gets done i get to smell smoke hear the smoke alarm go off and dogs running all night and barking. Office staff is not that great they seem not to care about anything. Casa II doesnt get much grounds keeping, front doors full of leaves that blow right under front door into the living room and never once seen anyone clean the laundry facility as Casa II

We moved into Casa Tierra when Leslie Property Mgt. was still in charge. Brittany and her staff were absolutely INCREDIBLE! I considered many apartments when moving to the area, and the Casa Tierra team blew me away with their kindness and professionalism. UNFORTUNATELY, within 3 weeks of moving here, Casa Tierra was sold to Monarch Properties. Since Monarchs takeover, there have been nonstop problems. The new manager Julie has a very defensive attitude. Work orders now take forever (I went a week with no hot water), and a typo in my lease that was absolutely no fault of my own led to me having to suddenly pay $20 extra a month. Julie acts bothered and is very defensive when simple questions are asked by residents. The apartment complex is beautiful, hopefully Monarch can figure things out and realize that the way they treat their residents makes all the difference.

My mother in law moved here this week to be closer to her grandson. She rented an apartment from Casa Tierra sight unseen because they told her she needed to sign a lease before she could see the property. When she arrived the apartment that she leased smelled so badly of smoke that even the rental agent said we will never be able to rent this apartment to anyone who is not a smoker. Instead of just letting her out of the lease they are charging her a months rent. She has slept there one night. Now she has to pay $800 rent and rehire movers to move all of her stuff again. Horrible service and they took advantage of a little old lady. Horrible.
