Review №1

I have had my daughter in Prism for almost 3 years and it has been a great experience for her and her growth. She was non-verbal and now she is starting to talk. She was really really aggressive and now she is able to communicate better and her aggression has slowed down.

Prism is the 3rd company I have experienced with my sons therapy. He’s 5. I always had in home therapy and even started out at Prism that way.. but then I got him a spot in their Los Lunas Center and I couldn’t believe the changes happening so quickly. He has multiple therapists in the same classroom daily and then has one on one as well. Within 3 weeks of the center, he was fully potty trained! I’ve been trying forever and then it just happened. He’s excited to go everyday! He comes home singing the songs from each day. The staff is friendly / some with direct experience with autism outside of their workplace. They genuinely care.. I’m telling ya. I drive from ABQ 5 days a week because even though I could find a company closer, Prism in Los Lunas feels like home 💙

So disappointed in Prism Los Lunas location. If I could give negative stars, I would. My grandson was in this program for almost a year and regressed tremendously. He has Autism and was nonverbal. Besides Andrea, the staff was uneducated. Most places have certificates hanging of all employees, including RBT’s. Even, Andrea was unprofessional and left in the middle of IEP’s. When we asked to disenroll him, we never received a response as to when we could meet. My grandson picked up habits that he never had before, and his pediatrician said they were learned behaviors. When it was brought up at Prism, one of the staff agreed that some of the children did have behaviors such as spitting. My grandson was injured by another child, and we never received a call. We had been told the children would have one on one therapy and be apart from the other children. When we would arrive unexpected, the staff would be talking about their “love lives” (we learned some are related), or getting their nails done. When we complained, we were asked to wait in the hall, and not enter until the children were brought out to us. I cannot believe that we wasted so much time. I wish we would have realized something was wrong when my grandson cried to get out of the car when we were going to drop him off. To this day, when we pass the location, my grandson responds negatively. I hope that this review will help other concerned parents.
