Make sure to use ʜᴏᴛᴇʟʙᴜʟʟʏ .ᴄᴏᴍ when booking any hotel. They compare hundreds of booking websites and normally will have rooms much cheaper compared to others! Youre welcome :)! This resort is one of my favorites in the area. Ive been staying here for a very long time. If you choose this place you definitely will love it Im sure! The New Albuquerque Airport Sheraton hotel is nice they remodeled the entire building including every room. Your a 5 stars hotel Sheraton!
The hotel was pleasant the rooms updated and modern. The property in general was great. However, the pat that made the stay exceptional was the staff. From the front end who went above and beyond to accommodate to buildings engineering staff, who might or day were there to make sure my stay was amazing. I would like to thank Eugene in particular for going above and beyond.
Everyone I encountered at this hotel was amazing and welcoming, even though I had two insane Australian Shepherds with me, and I was traveling alone. From Jodi and the amazing man at the front desk who took one of my dogs so I could chase after the other one (who backed out of her collar and ran out the sliding doors) to housekeeping and the bartenders... Everyone was wonderful! This hotel is at the half way point for me when I visit my Mom in Arizona, and in a convenient location, so I am thrilled they are dog friendly. One evening however, I had to go to the car and bring the dog crates in, and of course someone else on the dog floor complained in the five minutes it took for me to leave and return. The guys who were standing outside my door explained that someone had complained, but when I explained that its just me traveling alone with two dogs, and I have no choice because I need to make multiple runs to the car, the employees were totally understanding and kind about the situation. Now if only some of the other dog lovers on the 4th floor could behave similarly. You never know what someone else is going through. They could be traveling alone on a 13 hour road trip with two dogs, and need a little bit of patience from you. I understand most people road trip with dogs and another human companion, but not always the case... Nonetheless I highly recommend this hotel and will be returning soon without dogs so I can enjoy the hospitality even more.
We were compensated a night from delta due to mechanical problems. I would have left if we had to pay. The room was so old and there was 1 electric outlet between the beds and only 1 socket worked but literally not even bolted in the wall huge fire hazard!!!! The TV had 10 channels that worked only 8 in English....stay somewhere else this is not up to Sheraton standards. The staff was all amazing but they cant do much when running such a run down shotty hotel
Positive: It was pretty clean and it felt secure. I really liked the private parking lot so I didn¿t have to worry about my vehicle. It was also fairly quiet considering it is at the airport. Negative: It¿s very outdated. Also we traveled with our small dog and were surprised to learn that you are not allowed to leave them unattended?! We didn¿t come to Albuquerque to stay in the hotel so he was left alone several times so that we could enjoy dinn
Stopped here for lunch after my flight in. Food was great!
Delays caused me to miss my flight. Got a voucher to stay here.A relaxing 12 hrs.Chicken wings were delicious. Highly recommended. Theres a pool, gym, bar.Great staff!
Rooms were nice and clean but prepare to pay for everything as extras. Parking is $11/night, unsurprising I guess for being near the airport, but the kicker is paying for a mini fridge in your room?? Super annoying.
We needed a place that was close to the airport because of the time that we had to fly out of Albuquerque The hotel is an older hotel but was clean and had great facilities it convenience of getting to the airport was less than a couple minutes and it saved us a bunch of time that we used to sleep
A few days after we check in, the management turned down the ventilation, and the air in the hotel became stale and humid (humid in Albuquerque, NM!). All the clean towels felt slightly damp. So the hotel air was mainly being recirculated with the viral load rising. There was no way to stop the water in the bathtub from running out while one was taking a bath; over five days, they consistently failed to fix this problem. The beds were so old that the mattresses were shallower on the side where people had been sitting, so one had to sleep on a slope. The swimming pool was dry until a few days ago, and swimming is still not allowed.Too little ventilation in the dismal gym.And with all the lights on our room was dark during the day and very dark at night. The internet was spotty. A few minutes after one stops using a cell phone or a computer, the connection breaks and one must log the device back onto the internet. This problem is particularly serious with iPhones, because one must turn off the iPhone in order to get it connected again to the internet. The people who work in the hotel, however, are quite nice. They try to make up for the shortcomings of the hotel.AVOID THIS DUMP.
The hotel was comfortable, clean, and well appointed. Staff was very nice.It seems the hotel (and many others) is/are cutting costs in any way possible and blaming it on covid. Pool was closed for covid, complimentary breakfast nope… covid. Even the lobby coffee was not available, yep covid. However, you can get breakfast at the “restaurant” which is basically buffet trays that they used to use for the complimentary breakfast, and coffee served to you from the same carafes as what used to be in the lobby. Ohh and two of those coffees that used to be complimentary in the lobby… yeah they are now $6.75, and that simple egg, muffin and bacon breakfast $12. You know.. because covid.
Positive: Location to the airport. Negative: Expensive and NOT a 3 1/2 star hotel. Pool was filthy and closed for the season even though it¿s summer.
HORRIBLE customer service. Charged three of my moms cards almost $400 claiming it was a deposit and each card kept “not working,” however each transaction actually pulled the money out and it wasn’t pending. We asked to have the money returned and they said that the money was never actually pulled out which we showed proof that it was … and then he said the woman who did the transaction was actually on her second day working. Why would you have someone by themselves on their second day… Theres no way a deposit is that much after we booked and paid through priceline. Priceline called and called the hotel to resolve the issue and they never answered. They were just so condescending and the only reason why I gave them one star is because the room. Please get competent people to work here.. god.
The New Albuquerque Airport Sheraton hotel is nice they remodeled the entire building including every room. Your a 5 stars hotel Sheraton!
Beautiful place friendly atmosphere. Staff receiving us was super duper nice and friendly
Best place i have bunkered down in decades Sina is the greatest of hosts
My flight was cancelled & I called them & they immediately said come on over! Great Staff.. & even gave me a bag with toothpaste & toothbrush! Room was awesome!! A+++
Great room....you can leave the hotel like 45 mins b4 flight.....its so close to airport .....24 hour shuttle.....30 second ride to terminal....small aiport short lines
OK enough.A little long-in-the-tooth, but VERY close to the airport - you can easily walk it.
This was a very outdated Building. This does not meet the quality standards of Sheraton at all. To compare it I Quality would be the same as travelodge or Motel 6. The rooms look as if they were not updated since the 80 s. The hallways smelled musty and moldy . The Parking was a joke. Any car could get into the lot with a button . But you need a code to get out ???? Seriously how secure is that ?? Corporate needs to pay this hotel a visit to see it for themselves . It felt like I walked in to the Anchorman Tv Station in that room .
I like staying at this hotel. Its nice. Has a great view on both sides of the hotel.
The air conditioning was not cooling in our original room nor the room they moved us to. The receptionist did offer us a free breakfast and was apologetic. If I had to guess I’d say the lack of maintenance is due to lack of staffing from Covid, which is out of their control.
Good hotel. Can walk to airport.
Top of the line hotel clean beautiful place to stay
Positive: location Negative: Hotel was run down. Worst Sheraton hotel Ive been at. Disappointed
We stayed here for one night on our way to Phoenix and had a very pleasant experience. Funnily enough, we weren’t flying or using the airport, we just got a good deal and liked that they don’t charge a pet fee (as long as pups are under 40 lbs) which is always good since we were traveling with our dogs. That being said, it’s literally right next to the airport. The downstairs lobby is beautiful and clean and the staff were super friendly. The room itself was spacious and tidy. One downside is there’s no fridge or microwave, but that makes sense for an airport hotel. The beds were comfy and the TV was large and had Showtime channels. On our way back through ABQ we will definitely plan to stay here again.
No room refrigerator, no microwave. Had to go floor 4 or 9 to use a microwave. They need to upgrade with time.
Surprised to find a parking charge on my receipt since there was never any mention that it was paid parking. I appreciate your honesty and transparency.I was going to spend another week here but Ill be finding somewhere else.
Assistant GM,Mr. Ed Sanchez and his staff such great people..our waitress Debroah such a very nice lady, made sure we were satisfied. If you are going to have breakfast, my suggestion and recommendation is the green chili breakfast burrito. Nice clean rooms. Bar is closed other than for beer and wine due to COVID. Will be back! Loved the hospitality all showed for our stay.
The room and staff is excellent. They were able to assist me in getting a room last minute with ease. That said, I had to go back and fourth with customer service about a previous reservation that the hotel couldnt find. After an hour and 3 separate calls, the floor staff took care and resolved my issue and offered to get the same rate my last reservation had. Great people.
Helpfull staff for someone in a wheelchair. Clean and quiet.
Incredibly convenient location, within walking distance of the airport. In fact the airport post signs directing you on exactly how to walk to the hotel.
They won’t clean the rooms after the first day. Washrooms are not good. Very high price for the service and amenities they provide. Room service is very bad. They won’t even have free parking and free breakfast even after taking lot of money. Not at all recommended.
Surprised to find such a derelict of a hotel so near the airport. No refrigerator in the room, and the wood (?) floors in the bathroom showed substantial staining. Wifi is extra, parking is extra, everything is extra. Dont expect a deal or a good time here.
I have stayed here quite a few times and its usually a pleasant stay without any hiccups. This time though I noticed the outside of the bathtub dirty, as well as the walls and door. Just a little more of attention to detail when cleaning would fix this. Also, there was a storm going through the day before we left and we noticed the carpet near the window was wet, and noticed there was water accumulated in the inner window railing. I think the window should be checked for proper sealing.
I do not recommend this place to anyone. Its a quiet place but they need to hire more attentive housekeepers. My husband and I are frequent to motels and this one is by far the dirtiest we have been to. Rooms was spacious but not clean. The restroom had black mold, baseboards and pictures frames are dirty. And the curtain full of dust. Other than that the lady checkin Guests was awesome. Thank um
The nicest Sheraton Marriott property I have stayed at in Albuquerque. Secure parking is a real bonus.
Excellent staff, Ed checked me in and was incredibly gracious while handling my room while also dealing with a flight crew who jumped line and demanded attention, Ed handled things in a very professional manner, this is why I love this Sheraton, amazing staff, great location, good food onsite and a shuttle that is available on demand, highly recommended!!
Very nice accomodations, good restaurant.
Very nice hotel. Pillows are toooo soft, though.
Stayed here before. No problem. Dropped my mask at a gas station before checking in this time. I was shocked, this property does not offer any $0.15 masks for guest. Seems like Sheraton brand in NM is now another Super 8.
Sink stopped up, stale and dated and dark. Duct tape on carpet.Sink stopped up. Gross.
Positive: The bar
Concierge lounge was in poor shape. Refrigerator was actually heating the sodas plus no diet soda and only 1 bottle of water. The door to my room was open i.e. not locked when I got to it.
Need to train their front desk employees fir checking in customers. Need to know correct information before assuming its the customers fault.
After switching rooms, found a room that was somewhat clean enough for a short night. Rooms are in need of cleaning and repairs.
The hotel was great. It was literally right next to the airport... A 20 minute walk put you at the terminals. Even being so close, you couldnt hear the planes from inside the hotel, so soundproofing was great. Id definitely stay here again. Oh, and the food in the restaurant was fantastic.
Lovey and helpful front desk staff, shuttle to airport, early breakfast options and I got put on a top floor with excellent views. Only thing missing was a mini fridge. With COVID-19 I had bought some items to take on the plane but had no way to refrigerate them.
Nice place to stay within walking distance from the airport.
Negative: Not very clean, room was falling apart. Not what you expect from the Sheraton name.
Had a 6:10 am flight out so decided to end our trip at the airport the night prior for sake of ease. Car rental drop is 3 minutes from hotel, and we were able to drop off the night before leaving- hotel staff got us back quickly and safely to hotel from there.Check in was faster than NYC and seamless.Bellmen were more than accommodating in getting us to airport, to and from a local recommended dinner spot (Cervantes!!) and made us feel comfortable, safe and well looked after. Restaurant/bar staff were more than great- they helped insure us seeing our last sunset on our vacation would be magical, and went above and beyond to make us feel as though we were VIPS. We did not eat at hotel, so cannot speak to food offerings, only drinks.Estaban, Stephen, Michelle, Martin, Patricia were names we recall fondly. Wish I could remember the woman who checked us in and her coworker at the desk. This location is a well run, beautifully staffed and managed location. Its worth mentioning that I travel worldwide, stay frequently at Relais and Chateaux, started the trip a week earlier at Hotel Chaco and have very high standards for most things in my life. While I realize that luxury is mentioned above and knew that the Sheraton wouldnt be lux, I am sincere in sharing that if I didnt know better, I would have thought I was in a lux lodging by the way our experience was curated.Kudos to Sheraton ABQ.
Great food and excellent service at the restaurant from Edina
Great staff very nice room was clean
Very clean and excellent check-in
We stayed at the hotel before an early morning flight and late return. The staff was friendly and very accommodating, which made us feel very welcome. Our room was spacious and nice and clean. Free bottled water was offered along with the coffee pot. We took advantage of the club lounge and enjoyed the wine and appetizers and the generous breakfast. The airport shuttle was prompt, both on our departure and our return. We also took advantage of the car parking which was priced at a good daily rate. Overall we were pleased with our stay and will return in the future.
Me and my wife love staying here. Newly remodeled. Staff is very professional and treats you as a guest. Rooms are wonderful, clean and bright. Food at the left turn bar/grill as well as service( ask for Edwina) excellent. Highly, highly recommend.Prices are excellent. You will not be disappointed. Close to airport.
Positive: Staff and location Negative: it needs remolding soon
Clean, safe, comfortable, convenient and friendly staff. Great food to go.
The rooms were large and everything but ours wasnt very clean. There was a lot of hair on the floor and we found some trash at the foot of our bed. The service was amazing and they took social distancing very seriously which I loved.
Amazing rooms! Updated and modern. Beds are comfy. Thin walls though. The restaurant at the hotel was amazingly delicious, I had the enchiladas and they were super delicious best Ive had outside my kitchen.
Florr 3, 4, and 5 smelled like sewer. We had to switch rooms because we were getting headachs. You have to pay for wifi, $50 parking, breakfast, and $3 per soda in vending machine which you had to swipe your card each time. Beds Hurt our backs. Would not recommend. Very expensive!!! Not worth the money!!!
Sheraton Albuquerque Airport Hotel is in a prime location. The hotel staff is top-notch, and the hotel amenities are great. The rooms are spacious, clean, and, most of all, comfortable. Make sure you utilize the hotels restaurant and bar. They serve great food and good drinks. I know where I will stay every time I come back to Albuquerque. Sheraton is like a home away from home.
Hotel is within walking distance of ABQ airport. Hotel Fitness center is still closed. Rooms are not updated but clean and sufficient for a good night’s sleep. In room coffee packets are horrible.
Positive: Location Negative: Toilet kept running. Tank filling tower very, very slow. Staff could flush toilets while cleaning and report needed maintenance.
After reading the reviews ahead of time I was very observant of all things mentioned to see how valid the comments were... I found this hotel to be very nice and the employees and services to be nicely accommodating. Decor very pleasant, sizable room with amenities, comfy bed but most of all, every single employee very personable and eager to assist.
Positive: Location Negative: Room smelled, no heat, small
Nice place and convenient to airport. Bar and restaurant stay open until at least midnight, which is great. Enchiladas were good but a bit pricey. Room was fine, though the enormous TV didnt work (no signal). I called the front desk about it, and they said theyd send someone up, but no one came.
This hotel is always clean and with the greatest staff. Highly recommend!
We always stay at this hotel for the fact it is newly remodeled. The staff, front desk are wonderful. Excellent restaurant/bar with excellent food.(Especially our waitress Edwina) The rooms are bright and spacious and always clean . The price is unbeatable. Highly recommend if you are flying out of town or just want a getaway.Location is 5 minutes away from airport. Hotel also has a shuttle service to and from airport.
There was an event that was held at this Sheraton hotel. The event included a small breakfast and a full lunch. The staff was amazing! The customer service was wonderful. They were very helpful, caring and sweet. The ballrooms were the perfect size for the event and the layout fit the presenter perfectly.
Staff was nice, room was nice.
Paid for a suite and got a regular room instead with a breakfast voucher....wasnt worth the cost.
Stayed one night, caught flight in the morning.Nice hotel, clean, several conference rooms, bar, restaurant. Room was nicer than average, 12th floor. Nice size tv, desk to work at, cabinet for clothes, suites.Very Covid proactive from as soon as you walk in the door. Everyone masked up, drop key in bucket at checkout, hand sanitizer stations, video playing talking about Corona and what they are doing to keep everyone safe.Plenty of seating in lobby with TVs to watch. Bar open but only served beer and wine, Bartender thought liquor would be soon.Free shuttle to terminal, driver super nice. Shuttle starts at 630 I believe.
This was the last leg of our trip in Albuquerque. I was lucky enough to book this place on 17500 pts and was able to check in early. We needed a quick nap before our balloon flight so that was perfect. After our flight we were in a predicament, we needed to drop off a rental car but our flight would be before they opened. So how would we get to the terminal? I have to thank the front desk crew here to help me think in my sleep deprived state. They told me drop off the car now before it closes, call the front desk back and have the shuttle pick me up from the rental facility and take the shuttle to the airport in the am.Wow! After dropping off the car I called the front desk they were there within 5 minutes the ride back was super fast.In the morning right after checking out we were able to hop right on the shuttle and it was less than 1 minute ride to the terminal. Best hotel/airport experience ever!
Nice place for the money, just a bit hard to regulate the AC at night in the hot summer months as are most hotels, when youre use to sleeping with the windows open.
Convenience to the airport is its strongest feature as well as the promptness of the hotels shuttle service. Hotel should not be charging for Internet access or parking. Room lighting was inadequate for reading in bed because of the dim, energy-saving spiral bulbs. There was no bottle opener in the room - needed to use the one next to the front desk. Hallway was littered with an uncollected room service tray, as was the vending machine area on the floor. Wake-up call was 10 minutes late.
I stay here several times a year and find the staff to be friendly and accommodating. The rooms are spotless and the beds very comfortable. The airport is only 5 minutes away and transportation is readily available. The food is very good. This is my favorite hotel in the area.
Clean rooms and helpful employees.
Staff was friendly and helpful.I was expecting 4 star experience and got 2 star.Room was not clean, the charging sockets in 3 lamps didnt workThe food was inedible. Its hard to recommend this place.
Hosted a large family reunion and couldnt be more pleased with its success. The amenities- including free parking, free local shuttle, free internet, pool, park, fitness gym, hospitality suites - were exceptional and helped to facilitate an amazing reunion. The staff was kind and welcoming, from the bellhop to check-in to the food/beverage and event staff. Our guests commented on how great of a selection the Sheraton Albuquerque Airport was for our large family event. Id definitely consider coming back for future travel and future reunion sites!
As always, the Sheraton brand never disappoints. I chose this one because I wanted our quick sleep to be clean and comfortable. Both were a 10 out of 10. Thank you. Oh and the drivers of the shuttle buses we used were super!
Loved this hotel. Minutes from the airport. Close to everything and inexpensive for Lyft rides to all parts of the city. Clean and extremely comfortable beds. Food and staff were amazing. I would stay again.
Courteous and professional staff.
Awesome stay for Balloon Fiesta!I came on Friday October 11th for Balloon Fiesta(first time). We had a large suite but unfortunately our room had a foul odor due to issues with the sewer system which had been cleaned days earlier. I immediately reached out to manager Rayna and she was awesome in accommodating us to ensure the room was cleaned. The next day there was still issues so they moved us to two adjoining rooms and it worked out perfect. I must say for it to be one of the busiest weekends there, the customer service and overall experience with everyone was awesome. Kudos again to Scarlet, Rayna, Frances, Sara, Ed, Jesus and Kayla for making me and my family feel special during our stay. Your attention to us was very much appreciated and added to our wonderful time in ABQ(plus the Ballon Fiesta was wonderful)! Thanks again and my apologies to the people/names I forgot to mention(everyone from bellhop, housekeeping, Club Lounge and Left Turn restaurant and bar were fantastic!
The room was beautiful and great bed.
Negative: The furnishings seem outdated.
I liked getting two queen beds vs double beds, however one of the beds had a bad box springs and was not comfortable. The room did not come with a refrigerator which was an issue for four days the staff could not fix.The concierge breakfast was excellent with both bacon and sausage, real scrambled eggs and good fruit and juice choices.Parking was also good, with some shaded parking spots. The staff was very friendly and welcoming!Newspapers were also provided.Access to the airport was very good.
Nice place
Good place
This is hotel is tired and dated. The heating/cooling system is not regulated--my room was way too hot and the meeting room where my meeting was held was also way too hot. There were multiple complaints from attendees and it never did get better, even after they said they were turning the air conditioning on (in January). Also, the entire group of chandeliers in the back of the meeting room began to emit a strobe light effect on the second day of my meeting. It was significant enough and went on long enough to potentially cause seizure activity in anyone with a seizure disorder. Several participants were complaining of headaches. My hotel room was noisy--significant noise coming from other rooms as well as airplane noise. Cleanliness was so so. Outlets were worn out. Thankfully I brought an extension cord so that I could plug in electronics. The food in the restaurant was good. Service was slow even though the restaurant was not full. The staff in the hotel were pleasant and helpful across the board.
Nice location and room
This hotel was okay. The customer service was great, but management should really take a look at investing and updating property. There is no refrigerator or microwave in every room. They only have 12 working, so you have to request one, and they are first come first serve. The hotel is within walking distance of airport. Only restaurants nearby are Waffle House, Fudruckers, and Village Inn. No nearby steakhouses or restaurants like that. Uber cost about $14 one way, to a Walmart and back to hotel. There are not a lot of plug ins areas to charge things like labtops, phone, smart watches, earphones, etc. There is no shopping areas, local coffee houses or art nearby.
Pros: The front desk was really helpful. Since I stayed for two weeks, I got to where I could joke around with some of the staff. Im pretty sure there blackout curtains could stop a nuclear blast. Cons: No minifridge when I got there, then they tried to deliver multiple times.
Wonderfully quiet in spite of being so close to the airport. Very thick walls, ceilings and floors. Literally never heard a sound from outside the room. Clean, great service. Nice hotel.
This hotel is located at the edge of the airport. If you stay on a high floor, you will have a nice view of downtown and if you are lucky maybe a Hot Air Balloon in the morning.I found check-in very easy, masks required, sanitary steps being taken. There was no recognition of my status for upgrades despite being about 12 cars in the parking lot. The room was a fine size. Good water pressure in the shower. However, that is kind of where it ends. Beds were really uncomfortable. The room was clean but looks like it has been completely neglected over the years withe chips in the tile (in the bathroom), chair at the desk was stained, decor was just really worn down. We were on the 9th floor and had a nice view of downtown. We even caught 3 hot air balloons in the morning. We just tried to avoid looking down as their pool is closed (understandably for COVID) and completely neglected as it was full of dirt and was a dirty green color. The lounge was closed so they did offer a to-go breakfast. I asked for a side of fruit but was told they dont have fruit because it goes bad too easily? I got fresh fruit from the aLoft and Element which are a lesser class of hotel. So that makes me confused. We ended up ordering dinner from GrubHub since they only had 4 items to order from the hotel. We didnt want to go out anywhere since NM wants ppl who are traveling to quarantine for 14 days. They also charged me for parking which really drives me crazy when there are only 12 cars in the lot.The hotel is dog friendly and gave us no issues with our dog. Overall, I would probably not stay here again unless they remodeled.
It’s a bad Hotel living experience for my wife and me. The rooms is old, not clean and noisy. At the first, I lived in a “ connecting” room. Just a thin and wood door between ours and next room. I can hear every words the people talking to each other in next room. And the room seemed like nobody lived in for a long time ago. The quilt was so dirty that we slept very uncomfortable at night.Although the counter staff was very good and quickly changed the room for me the next day, the situation has not improved. Just changed to a worse “ connecting “ room. So on the third night, my wife and I had to change to another Marriott hotel.
