I would not recommend anyone Catholic charities regarding there immigration status specially if you are trying to file a waiver or pardon. It is so hard to get a hold of them and they just don’t give you enough details of what’s happening. When it comes to writing your letters for the pardon they do not give you any information on how to do it to make your case strong. You pretty much have to do all the research yourself on how to make your case strong. They are so disorganized and I think they just try to help too many people at once. Awful experience. You still have to pay a good amount for the work they are doing and they make it seem like it’s a charity.

Swore they would help us and they cared but used us and are ready to throw us away now that our time is up. If you disagree with any suggestion they have for your family they will leave you high and dry and not even attempt to help in any way. People like us are funding to them, not humans. They care about keeping their jobs and looking like theyre helping people on paper but they wont out any effort in at all to help if they decide they dont like you and they will blame you for it. Were currently stuck at an apartment complex they funnel people to because theyre friends with the property managers. This property has staff harassing us and actually attempting to exacerbate my disability because they think its funny, Catholic Charities golds their hands and says we cant help, sorry! This has been a nightmare, dont ever go to them for help.

Well I know this place well enough. Ive been to the old building that got knocked down to build the new in its place. The new building is big but it does what two buildings did before....so now its more consolidated with the important legal stuff and big shots on the third floor. I cant speak much to the legal support they offer, however their daycare is one of the best in town....their adult education is good offering Citizenship, English as a Second Language (nothing very advanced level) and High School Equivalency (HSE) classes in Spanish. Internal communication could be better because sometimes one can get many different answers for the same question depending on which staff member you ask. So ask several people. Its like the hand doesnt know what the foot is doing.....at least in the Adult Ed. side.

Even though they are a little cheaper than other layer companies, their consultants do not have any responsibilities, and the efficiencies are low. After first time me and my husband meet one of the consultants in this organization, she told us to contact her if we have any question, and make another appointment to fill up all the forms. However, when we collected all the informations, we tried our best to contact her, including sent email, call her with her direct number for two weeks!! We even called the counter of the organization, and asked them to tell her to contact us, yet she didnt.Because of this situation, we had to find another lawyer to help us. I really cant believe this. Finally, we found another lawyer in another company with responsibility to help us out. Thanks to God.

They only help if youre an immigrant from Mexico or Central America. Do not apply is youre already an American citizen. Their charity does not reach you.
