Its strange to review a contracting company on Google maps, but here we go. In my experience with local IT contracting firms, most of them fall tragically short in one major area: finding work. Some of them will call you into their office to take assessment tests every month just to catch up with you, but will never actually call you about a job. Others will contact you for jobs that wind up being significantly lower pay than your listed requirements. In comparison, my experience with Tek Systems was very positive. One of their recruiters, Aaron, contacted me, got my salary requirements and a copy of my resume, and was quickly back to me with a couple prospective jobs that fit my requirements and qualifications. Throughout my entire employment with Tek Systems as a part of the contract to hire job he found for me, he was in constant contact and made sure I was taken care.As for why its a 4-star instead of 5-star affair: the benefits are pretty bad. For as much as they cost, you would probably be better served to seek them out on your own. Also, unless it is very specifically negotiated into your contract, dont just assume you have PTO or paid holidays (youll still get holidays off, just unpaid). While Teks website mentions paid holidays, it seems that those are benefits for their actual office employees and recruiters instead of their technicians out in the field.All told, I would do business with Tek again. They came through in the one area that IT contractors like me care about: finding work.

Originally there wasnt anything out there for what I was looking for. After staying in contact, Eric M. Called me and let me know of a couple things I might be interested in, now Im moving cities to work a job for double the pay I was looking for.

This company says one thing, then turns around and says they cant help you with a job. It is a complete waste of time, money, and gas!!!!!
