I was sent to see Dr. LeGant back in 2016.I had a very large torn rotator cuff . To make a long story short after going through surgery .Dr.LeGant wanted to send me back to work 3 weeks after my surgery . Instead of sending me to physical therapy first !What kind of Dr does that ? Dr LeGant ...: my daughter and I pleaded with him, how could this be possible . He finally agreed he would send me to pt. I had worked in the Grocery business for 22 yrs . My employer stated to him that she had no light work for me . Lifting 15-20 lbs as I was given as instructions by Dr.LeGant . To make this long story short .I ended up with a frozen shoulder : couldn’t lift my arm above my head still can’t . Hired a attorney. Went to pain clinics saw outside Dr.s. Bottom line close to closing my malpractice case he RETIRES . from practicing .Went on to just giving an a Dr.outside opinion for patients : I won my malpractice suit . Why this Dr.is currently still has a license blows my mind . Steer Clear . I can no longer work . He had done a job on me .I have half a a year before I’m eligible to file for SSI . Being it was part of my settlement. Then to work with the workman’s Comp out of Albuq. Was a pain in itself . Rude as hell . But that’s what they are there for . I wouldn’t even rate this Dr. with a star. Good luck with people. Stand up for YOUR rights ! It’s our bodies .. He will never forget me. Probably why he retired .

I was in a accident, real bad motorcycle accident, 21 Surgerys later he Dr. Legant saved my leg my arm and foot. That the first Dr. that saw me in the ER wanted to amputate. He saved my life and I am greatful to this day that he found me that day. He is a gifted Dr. and cares about the people he helps everyday.

First of all the office said it was open at 8am, no one answered the phone until 8:15am, not very punctual... The receptionist seemed to be talking to someone else when she answered the phone and then after explaining my symptoms, the receptionist very rudely said The doctor doesnt look at backs!.. she could have been a little more pleasant, Im sorry for inconveniencing this office with my phone call, Ill go to another doctor who has more professional staff. Thank you!

Had surgery to repair meniscus. Very successful. Knee feels great now. No pain.

Have been going to Dr. Black for years. Workers Comp. DOL, sent me Dr. Legant for 2nd opinion, he decided nothing is wrong with my shoulder from his X-ray. Then why do I continuously have to get injections for pain with Dr. Black? And Legant saw me once. Thanks to his opinion my claim is denied! Way to go Doc!

Ive been working with Dr. Legant for years after being referred by my pain and spine physician, Dr. Esparza. He initially took care of my hip and worked with doc Esparza on getting the right injections. Most recently went in for a broken leg and injured knee. He was leary to do surgery, even though NM Ortho was insisting. My leg is fine with no surgery! He always remembers me as does his staff who are all very nice.

Very knowledgeable, professional, and determined the issue very quickly.
