PC Place is your One Stop Computer Shop - a company that stands behind their name! My computer went into POWER SAVE mode after mistakenly unplugging power source without battery connected to my Lenovo ThinkPad. Black Screen. Called PC Place, and Stephen walked me through a couple of steps to try to get it to startup. Laptop would not startup. I dropped off laptop at PC Place. Stephen discussed the options to get my laptop working. PC Place worked on it, and got it running! I ended up getting new antivirus software, and Windows Update. Stephen and PC Place offers superior service and results and great prices!! I highly recommend contacting PC Place for all your computer and gaming computer needs!

I love this place first place i check to see if they have parts. There up charge from retail is reasonable. They are all Knowledgeable and friendly. They have great staff and are always willing to try there best to get what I need. they also buy pc parts and are good with what they gave you for it especially if your trading.

Although they may be knowledgeable, I had the typical experience of when I a woman had said possibly something they didn’t feel like acknowledging or deferring to, whilst mid question/statement I was interrupted with “Could I speak” by the proprietor with whom I was attempting to gain information on putting a computer together, and what components would be considered higher quality or more important to obtain before others...As I had made it clear I wasn’t buying at that time, only making sure I was fully informed and prepared before embarking on a big purchase, I was made to feel inferior and a pest.I’m almost 100% sure that any male counterpart with money at the ready and tech knowledge would be made quite comfortable... two thumbs way down

I want to tell you about our experience with PC Place.My 15 years old grandson built a computer, and needed a repair due to a faulty graphics card (purchased online from Amazon). We were looking for a good quality repair shop when we saw your advertisement on the web. Your shop gave my grandson a graphics card to use until the replacement graphics card came in. Charles arranged for us to swap the graphics cards at no additional cost (just the original diagnostic). Your shop was so patient while the original company took 3 weeks to get the replacement to us! I cannot thank y’all enough for making it possible for my grandson to continue having the use of his computer for his studies and for his E-sports team. I will HIGHLY recommend PC Place to everyone I know!

I was recommended to see them to take a look at my computer. After a day, I was told what was wrong with it, what needed fixing and replacement for new parts, and the overall cost. What I appreciate the most after their analysis is their honesty. I was told it could run slow or gave hiccups even after all the fixes and it wouldnt be worth fixing. I accepted that my desktop was considered obsolete. I also appreciate them saving the important components for when I am ready to transfer saved data to my new computer. Overall a great experience despite the loss of my desktop.

I had a problem with my computer and didn’t know what the problem was so I called PC Place and they said they would take a look at it and have it back to me in 48 hours... they ended up telling me it was a graphics card issue so they helped me through this and they have GREAT service and even went the extra mile and gave me one of their graphics cards while the other one was getting fixed and we ended up doing a business trade. I would definitely recommend these guys, they know what they’re doing, and they have phenomenal service.

I was quoted a very high price for what I needed. I found a different computer place that quoted me a price that was much less. Their quote was more than half of what I was first quoted at PC PLACE. It pays to check around before going to PCP.

Got to say when it comes to computer repair, printer, software problems whatever The PC Place is the Place to go. I needed a printer repaired and instead of the guy telling me to bring the unit in and charge me to fix it. He told me that he would have to charge me more to repair it then the printer was worth. Went on to say it would be cheaper to buy another printer. Then told me what type of printer would be best and found a few he would recommended online. Talk about great customer service. The name of the gentlemen was Stephen.

Yep this guys are great. Fair, reliable and trustworthy. They have serviced my PC and macs. I have never been uncharged nor have i felt i was getting worked. I brought in my PC to get a virus removed and requested a tune up. Brian recommended I upgrade the hard drive for $ 250. I did and it made a huge difference. It runs like new all the time now. I totally trust these guys. They seem to like what they do and more importantly they know what they are doing.

Poor customer service all the way around, I travel out of town a lot, and my laptop broke, I sent my mother in to have it fixed, This guy took the laptop from her rushing her while she was asking the normal questions about the way they do their service, saying they need to close, he neglected telling her that there will be a diagnosis charge of 68 dollars, and when he did the diagnosis and told us the quote to fix, I decided to wait, my mother went to grab the device, he was shouting at her, speaking with sarcasm and being a full blown AH. I would rather take my business to a big corporate than these people at this business. The issue isnt the $68 its the treatment. No class!

I have extremely little experience with the components of a PC so when I started to get a CPU fan error I didnt know what to do. I am so happy we found this place. We were shopping at the big box stores for a laptop, thought we knew what we wanted and decided at the last minute to check out our local shops. We went to 2 places, this being the second and so glad we did. Jesse helped us through our decision without treating us like we were old (even tho we are), everything they promised came true ie when we could pick it up after we dropped off our old one for data transfer etc. And the best part is that the price was LESS than the big box stores. I finally had to replace it (due to blown capacitors on the motherboard,) and they worked with my budget to custom build a new PC which is a beautiful monster machine!!! After being unhappy with a few computer shops throughout the years; my Sister referred me to The PC Place and its the best choice Ive ever made for my computers...theyve been around for at least 15 years (or more)...that, I believe, was the first time I walked into their shop...Ive taken all of my computers to them since then, but thats because if they fix it; its fixed! All of them are pros and are also polite. And to myself, those two characteristics go hand in hand...know what youre doing and treat your customers very well! It the only place Ill go and trust for my computers...I am referring Family, Friends, and Acquaintances to The PC Place all the time.

Originally, I brought my PC to The PC Place because, one, they are close by, and two, I liked what I heard from them when I called to set up an appointment. That was close on two years ago. Today, I picked up my PCs CPU after they replaced my hard drive, cleaned all the viruses off, and added virus protection. They had it ready when they said they would, and the charges were very reasonable. I like the people there, and trust them.

I came in for a wiring job on the first pc I built, they had it ready within a few hours. Staff was very friendly and also helped me troubleshoot a connectivity issue I had (turns out it was faulty HDMI cable). even let me borrow one until I finished setting up my new PC, which was much appreciated. I came to this shop, and give the computer for them to fix. I ask them how much would it charge for the screen, they said 140 dollar. However, they didnt tell me any additional charges fees such as services fees whether they able to fix it or not. After that, i waited for their call to follow up the status, but they didnt called to let me know status information at all, so I decided to give them a call back. After things is not working out for trying to fix laptop, they charges me $40 even though they couldnt fix the laptop. I believe this is no reasonable for charge services fees at all, because laptop wasnt fixed it. This place is not a good services in order to work as a business. I should think they should go to business school to learn more about business. Im not happy the way it is! :( oh well

I have noticed a couple of negative reviews about the PC Place. I’m astounded! Were these people at the PC Place? Or, are they confused? Again, I have used the PC Place since the mid 90s (see my previous review below). Plus, I have taken in machines acquired elsewhere for friends, no problem! I go nowhere else! I live and work in Valencia County.I will take off work and drive to Albuquerque to take my machines to Charles at the PC Place. (Which is very seldom as the machines I have from the PC Place rarely need anything, and it is usually an issue I caused, or just normal age on the machine.) ------The PC Place has always been forthright, knowledgeable, and reasonable in their fees. In addition, I am aware of a situation where a boy brought in a very dead computer, but did not have the money to purchase another one. Charles gave him a used computer that met all of this boy’s needs. Of course, Charles can’t do this for everyone, but how wonderful of him to do this for this young boy! In --- fact, Charles has helped me and a friend of mine, resurrect some laptops we acquired that went to individuals that could not afford a computer (Ages 9 to 87). Charles even worked on a couple of them at his home, just before Christmas. He charged us a token fee. They were a mess from a previous “tech” and Charles had to spend a lot of time on the computers to fix what the previous “tech” had done. Not all techs are created equal. I hear some real horror stories. Hey, they should have had a V-8 and gone to the PC Place! You should too! Dell Computer only 9 months old power cord went out and they charged me $69.00. Dont recommend. Owner told me he paid $120.00 B.S.. I recommend Amazon.

Bought a laptop from this store a few months ago. After about a month of light use it crashed. Brought it back and they charged me $100 to fix it. Worked for a couple weeks then it crashed again and said it needed a new mother board. They wanted to charge me more money for that and werent interested in buying back the laptop they sold to me not 3 months before. Do yourself a favor and dont buy refurbished machines from this store.

Very nice people. I went in looking for a screw to install an SSD in a laptop. After quite a few stores, they were the only ones to know what I was talking about and even hooked me up with some extra screws for free. This is how you should do business.

Not worth the time going to an eight dollar part is $25 at their place overpriced rip off. I like to support local businesses in Albuquerque but over pricing everything just to make a quick buck and then act like everybody is stupid is really not professional

I have gone to PC place on several occasions and these guys have always gone the extra mile in service, explanation, and responsiveness to help out with computer issues from a crashed hard drive, blown power supply, motherboard defects to a laptop having issues with WiFi connection. I have always found them knowledgeable, respectful and conscientious of customer expense to get the repair done right! They dont sell junk and are motivated to solve my problem and get on to the next fire. They are fair and always respectful. Honestly, I was also shocked by negative reviews by other reviewers.
