I had my hair cut by Angeline a few months ago and I was delighted. This time was the opposite. I can hardly wait for my hair to grow out so I can go to a better stylist. I will not go to Tymeless again. My hair cut is horrible. Im embarrassed. Other people have commented as to how poorly my hair was cut. Theyve said it looks strange.

I was never acknowledged by any of the staff in there. About 25 minutes in, I actually had to ask someone for their name thinking that it was the person I booked with. That was the only interaction I had with anyone in there. At about 40 minutes past my appointment, I decided to leave. I wasnt sure how much longer I would have to wait because I was never told. The shop should be called We dont care about your time shoppe and salon. Or maybe they need to change their app. If the time wasnt available, or something changed, it would have been nice to get an update so that I wouldnt waste my time waiting. I wouldnt have cared if they told me my time changed prior to me showing up. Avoid at all costs unless you have about two hours to spare. Youre welcome.

Joey did a great job with my husbands cut. Not too short, just right. He will be back.

I just recently began bringing my son to Vicky. She has done an excellent job. She makes sure my son is comfortable. I will continue to bring my son to her. I have also recommended her services to others.

This is an amazing business with barbers who accept a diverse group of people. I have a very masculine hairstyle for a female and the barbers welcome me right in and do a terrific job. I’ve been to barbershops all over the country, but this one is the real gem and deserves way more recognition.Tip: they do get pretty busy, so schedule ahead. Jeff and Angel both do a great job.

I had an appointment here and waited outside for 15 mins past my appointment time.Barber stated i did not have an appointment they did not bother to look at the schedule or ask my name. Manager was playing pool instead of figuring what happened to my apportionment. Never had a cut here and will not come back. I live in the neighborhood and will inform my neighbors to not come here.

Called a few days ago, and I was able to get an appointment that worked for me. Jeff did a great job. They are staying safe with the cleaning and sanitation.

I have had cuts from a few of their stylists, each cut was quality. Weekdays are more quiet in the shop, which is more relaxing to me. If needing cut on the weekend, be ready for full family party time. Cuts with beard trim are pricey, but its hard to find a place that consistently provides quality cuts. Get what you pay for.

I never post reviews but I had to say Delilah is awesome. The person before me did not show on time. Delilah called and I was able to come in early. Delilah was very professional paid attention to detail and cut my hair exactly the way I asked. More individuals should listen to their customers the way Delilah does. You have quite an asset Tymless! Treat her well.

Phenomenal experience! I got a cut and a clean-up and my son (7) also got a cut. The staff there were amazing and super accommodating! I had my daughter as well (2) and they habe a kids play area and all the staff are parents and understanding when it comes to kids! Would recommend highly for anyone in the Albuquerque area! If I lived here I would be a regular! Sadly I live in CA.

Cut both my ears and nick on my head. Waste of 25 bucks. Use to be a good place with master barbers. Shame it’s not anymore.

Staff was extremely friendly.Stylist basically did what she wanted and that was mostly what I told her I didnt want, (I dont put heat on it because of bleach/color, wanted it shorter, I wear my natural waves, etc) except for the shave on the back of my head, which someone else did most of. Shave was gorgeous, hair basically looked the same after I left. She just styled it to make it look like there was effort put in to it.I just wish she would have told me she wasnt in the mood to cut my hair when I called and said that. I would have found somewhere else that was excited to do both.

This place is so much more than a barber shop...Delilah is an incredibly talented colorist and stylist! I highly recommend her for cuts and color!! I’ve also seen some of her barber work and she is super talented in that area as well!!Be realistic with your expectations and either make an appointment or expect to wait. Don’t give a bad review or be negative because you had to wait!The only improvement I would recommend to Tymless is the front receptionist or whatever the correct term is these days. He doesn’t seem interested in being there and is lacking in manners and customer service skills. I love Delilah’s work enough to overlook him though. :-)

This barbershop is absolutely amazing I’ve been going here for about a year now with Vicky and she never fails to impress me. I see all the clients walk in and out with great haircuts from all of the barbers. Very nice and friendly all the way around and a beautiful barbershop! It’s an easy 5 from me

I walked in today to get my 3 year old a fade the wait time was about 15 minutes and I was impressed that the shop looked cool with a pool table and a play area for kids. T was the one was cut my sons hair and no one has ever took the patience to work with my son and really take the time to cut his hair and style it beautifully and work on little details. Kinda far from where I live but its definitely worth driving back there again.

Love this place. When I moved out here i was looking for a good barber shop to get a hair cut. This place wasnt to far from my home so I figured Id go check em out. Walking in, its a very modern place with a hint of old western. The barbers are very skilled as Ive never once had a bad hair cut. However if i could improve one thing it would be a better reservation system as some of the barbers use an App instead of calling ahead to schedule an appointment. This can create some confusion if your wanting a specific barber to cut your hair. Aside from the one minor inconvenience this place is pretty good.

This is my favorite restaurant in Albuquerque. Everything is so good. The spaghetti and meatballs are amazing, and be sure to leave room for the Italian Twinkie for dessert.

In a town where there are barbershops on just about every city block, they really need to focus more on customer service. I walked into this establishment on a Sunday at 3 pm. My family was actually next door at Marble having some lunch and decided to stop in. For starters, not a single person in the place looked up to greet us or acknowledge us. Their teenaged worker came over and asked me to sign in. I signed my two boys in and was told to have a seat. I liked that they had a play area to entertain the kids. After sitting and waiting for 10 minutes or so, the same teenaged employee came back to say that they could only do one haircut. I was puzzled and asked why. He said that there were 2 people ahead of us and they only had time for one despite being open for another hour and with 4 barbers on the floor. Obviously I was a little frustrated and asked why they hadnt mentioned that when I first walked in instead of waiting until we sat waiting for a while. He said, I dont know. She just now told me that there is only time for one. I said No thank you and as I was walking out, he tried to hand me their card which I declined. I definitely will not be going back. Hey, I can appreciate a busy business owner telling me that they are booked for the rest of the day. What I do not appreciate is lack of customer service.

Great location; Great barbershop, all the stylist’s and barber’s are very nice and welcoming. When I have made an appointment, never had to wait longer than 5 minutes. Only concern is the pricing; when did line ups start being a separate cost outside the cost of the haircut itself? Not saying I won’t be back; but I would suggest asking what’s included in your cut before they cut your hair!

I tried a few barbers at the shop before settling on Angel. He does a great job on my hair. If I want to change the style, I just show him a picture and he provides me with a wonderful cut.I like how they keep hot towels and shaving cream for shaving. It has a real classic barber shop feeling, but also modern styles. There are TVs in front of each cutting station, great for watching games while you relax and get you hair cut.

Website states that walk-ins are welcome, but that is not true. I walked-in to an empty shop three hours before they close, and was told they were booked for the rest of the day. Apparently it’s impossible to find a decent barbershop in NM.

You cant beat the atmosphere of this place. They are good at what they do and therefore they stay pretty busy... with that said I would definitely call ahead and schedule an appointment. They have a wide variety of services, a kids play area, and a pool table. The interior design is classy and retro.

No a great design

Do not be a walk-in at this barber shop, they don’t value your time. I was told it would be a 15 minute wait and after 45 minutes and repeated appointments walking in I was told it could be anywhere between another 30-45 minutes. They need to provide a realistic timeframe if you’re a walk-in and not sugarcoat it so that you don’t end up sitting around wasting your time. My son and I left at that point without getting our haircut.

Randi does great with beards. If you are looking for a beard barber, her approach to beard trimming is second to none.

Angel Lucero always does a great job no matter what I ask him to do with my hair/beard.

I find the staff here outstanding. The design and ambiance are eye catching and extremely pleasant. My barber, Ty, works with me to make sure I am completely satisfied. I would give them 10 stars if I could.

TL;DR --1 - This business charges way too much for the services they offer,2 - They charge a fee for paying with a credit card,3 - The haircuts are not very good and I have had to get re-cuts in the past, and4 - Inconsistent policies regarding treatment of the veteran communityRecently I switched to this barber because my previous haircare business closed. Tymeless is close to me and I figured I would give them a shot. I have received about 5 haircuts from as many barbers (or stylists, whatever) at Tymeless and the work is mediocre at best. In fact, I had to return twice to correct errors that were not apparent until I was home and they charge more than your average haircare business.Adding to this cost is a substantial surcharge (called a convenience fee) for credit card payments. After my first couple of haircuts I made sure to take cash -- its really an incredibly high fee.The cost didnt concern me as much as it might others since they offered a two dollar discount for veterans (still more expensive than my previous styist but manageable). However, today I was informed that veterans dont get a discount and I shouldnt have received a discount for my prior haircuts (this information came directly from the owner, relayed by phone to my stylist). I was very clear to my stylist that I had received a discount with every other haircut at Tymeless and showed my VA card before payment to the stylist at the register every time. Apparently the owner didnt care and informed my stylist to tell me that veterans do not receive discounts.This treatment combined with poor value for the cost has resulted in a loss of business from me. I will take my money elsewhere from now on and encourage others to avoid the headaches of doing business with Tymeless.Rest assured, I will inform the Active Duty, Veteran, and VFW communities of this treatment.As a final note, I did not write this review in a effort to get the owner to re-instate veteran discounts. On the contrary, I dont care about the discount itself. What I care about is the fact that the owner decided to abruptly change the policy without notice as I stood at the register waiting to pay. I dont argue the owners right to charge whatever he/she wants, but there is no better way to discourage return business.

Save your money and go find a real barber shopWent in today after having lunch with my mother for a hair cut, and was turned away! I’m from New York where a shop does not take appointments just walk ins. This must be a wanna be barber shop but really a salon. I’m assuming 3 barbers sitting on empty chairs texting or on social media on phones. Could of cut my hair but I didn’t have a appointment. Imagine how much money you could make if you took on a few more hair cuts. Save your money and find a real barber shop!

Went in for a haircut already had a hard part and Vicky decided it was a good idea to shave a second part into my hair. I didn’t even notice what she did till I got in the car and saw my hair sticking up weird. So I go back to get it fixed and they basically had to shave one side of my head to make the second part go away now my hair is all jacked up. Worst haircut ever should have went to great clips.

You get a lot more then most shops. TV at each chair, great cut and a warm straight razor shave on your neck and face if you want it. You also get the average barber shop issues like favoritism for people that go a lot and a barber that has been on their feet a while will disappear into the back. Also there are appointments to deal with... all in all a good experience if you are chill and dont go in expecting some catering to on your first go... tipping well always helps. Did my kids cuts too and that works great if your kids can sit still long enough. Mine are awesome! :-P

*AVOID*READ BELOWMarch 7th 2019I get here at 4:30pm for a haircut. Everyone here sees me sign in and wait to be taken care of. As Im waiting, one barber is cutting hair and two of them are free. So thinking I would be called next I wait till 4:55pm to be told that they are booked by appointments for the rest of the day and proceeds to give me a $5 gift card. The issue I have here is the fact that they took almost 30 minutes to tell me they couldnt cut my hair and then lying saying they didnt see me sign in even though they all looked directly at me. I dont want a gift card I wanted a haircut or my time back. At least be honest when I first sign in.My advice is not to come to this place as a walk in. Theyre very appointment heavy and will usually no be able to help you. Ive given this horribly managed place too many chances. This is definitely not the first nor the last time they will disappoint. They dont care about your time!

I see Anika probably every 3 weeks or so. She does a great job, and always has great suggestions because Im always tweaking my hair a little when I go in.Excellent job every time, and very reasonably priced in my opinion.The barber shoppe has a cool look to it for sure. I always book an appointment, and never wait past my appointment time.

I came in as a walk-in, and put my name down on the Waiting list. There were a few people ahead of me so I didn’t mind the wait. Well after about an hour, I noticed that everybody in the lobby had got their haircut and left except for me. I sat there as new walk-ins came in and got called for their haircut, and realized that my name had been crossed off for me as if I had already gotten a haircut and left. I was not called up and was sitting there waiting for nothing, and that left me with a really bad impression of the establishments integrity. I won’t be going back.

My husband had the worst haircut! I could have done it better from by bathroom! He received a cut that he made clear he didnt want. When he said something he was told the next one will be 5.00 off, like we will ever return! This shop is new and wont be around long- avoid it at all costs.

I want to like them. Theyre close to my home and they allege to be a barber shoppe by their name. But, Ive been there a couple of times and have had varying experiences. They think very highly of their business and charge you for it. Every time Ive been there the employees have either been more focused on their phones or the tv shows on the tvs that each station has...or both. I understand having a decompression period from work, but you shouldnt do it AT work. Overall, Im not sure Ill go there with any frequency, except in an emergency or when I dont have time to drive anywhere else.

This place is very rude has an all spanish staff the only black barber they had they fired and they didnt inform any of his clients. When i was there i felt as if i was in a museum instead of a barber shop they can only cut spanish and caucasian hair dont bring your children either small area for them right next to a brewery as well very very unprofessional.

Literally worst place to get a haircut. Very nice looking shop but I got a lineup my one of their male barbers on the right hand side, older Hispanic and ruined that. Messed up uneven line. If youd like an awesome place Id recommend traveling to San Mateo to illest cuts where I normally get a haircut. I stopped when I was off of work to get a LINEUP and ruined that. If any of you guys get haircuts often, DO NOT COME HERE!!!!!

Ive been taking my 3 and 6 year old boys to a barber at showtime barber shop since they were babies. Unfortunately I decided to cheat on their barber by bringing them to this place because I could not wait till hes back from vacation and I completely regretted it. I am so disappointed with how my boys haircut turned out one of the barber was doing the line and messed up and didnt apologize or offer to fix it when I confronted him about it im more upset he would allow my son leave the shop looking like a hot mess! He blamed on my son for moving around. I got upset when he said that because my son been getting lines for long time and the barber at showtimes have not mess up his lines. The lady who cut my other sons hair didnt do good job his hair looked uneven and now I will have to take them to showtime to fix the boys hair. I will NOT recommend this barber to anyone or bring my boys back here! :( Ill stick with showtime barber they know how to cut boys hair bettet than anywhere else!

First time customer. I show up on a Wednesday @ 5:10 pm. The sign says open till 6:00 pm, but the door is locked. A barber giving a hair cut sees me but pretends like Im not there. I knock on the door and the barber shrugs his shoulders and says were closed. Not sure what kind of business they are running, but I will be sure to let everyone know that Tymeless Barber Shoppe is closed.

Nice fades awesome staff.

Barber used a dirty straight razor to clean up neck hair. After getting nicked, my wound bled. Barber said I was fidgety and would not sit still during haircut. I will go out of my way to steer friends, family, and folks that need to get a haircut to avoid this place.
