If you know what you want they will never cut your hair
This place was great. Just moved down from Denver and all is off to a fantastic start with a barbershop like this.
I very happy with my haircut. The name says it all: Gentleman. I didnt go in looking for a Hollywood style or a street fade. I went in looking for a simple mens haircut, and I got a good, simple mens haircut.Ill be back again, and the early hours on Saturday are very helpful, so I can get this done before I start my weekend. One important note: cash or check only.
Old fashioned Barber Shop - experienced barber: a friendly gentlemen. He listend carefully what I wanted and did it very well! Great cut, great barber! Low prices for a high quality!
Quick rundown:New in town as a travel nurse, unable to find a good barber. Read reviews of this place, decided to give it a shot. Walked in, waited ten minutes, greeted by a lady and asked how I could be helped. Said oh just waiting for a haircut. She said well thats what I do!Follow her to the chair, asked what I want. Told her a fade and asked if I wore a sidepart. I replied Can we wait to see if I want one depending on how it looks when youre done?. Her reply? Well I mean.... As she looks over to the male barber, rolls her eyes, and looks down and chuckles. Kinda confused at this point cause Ive never had this response, so I say I mean, Ive asked that a few times before and have never had that response. She just continues to look down, no facial expression.I decided just to leave. I said well, thats ok maam, Ill just go somewhere else. Not in a disrespectful way, and even told the other barber to have a good day and raised my hand as I left.Im gonna tell you what.....been to a TON of barbershops traveling as much as I have in my life, and that was THE most off-putting initial experience I have ever had. Ever. You might have been around for 40 years with tons of regulars, but youre gonna need new clientele. This isnt a way to treat a new customer at all. So incredibly rude, and all I was wanting was a fresh cut to look good this birthday weekend.TL;DR - this was the rudest initial experience Ive ever had at a barbershop in my life, and for no damn reason whatsoever.
By far the worst haircut experience I have ever had. I went in asking for a simple taper and the barber seemed to be confused and continued to give me a fade. After I asked what she was doing she got defensive and finished my haircut literally 5 minutes later looking like trash.
The staff is very professional and very nice and do a good job
