While it certainly isnt pristine, it is extremely charming. It feels like stepping back in time in some ways. I love the unique style and background of the hotel. It is a historic building and they have worked hard to keep it functioning with the times, but the buildings werent built with A/C systems in mind, so set expectations accordingly. It was spacious and felt very safe. The gardens are beautiful and the staff was wonderful. I adore all of the unique structures and art. I absolutely would go there again, it was actually my moms second time there. Please consider this wonderful little business if you are in the area.

Best Bed and Breakfast ever. We had a suite and it had 2 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, 3 TV s, a full kitchen, a living room with a fireplace and a private patio with chairs and umbrella. Great staff and a great made to order breakfast. Beautiful garden. 2 blocks from Old Town

The whole adobe architecture is so cool. Our room, Ivy, was very nice with a small patio and stream. There were a few minor things like broken blinds and a small bathroom but I suppose it adds to the charm. Well, not the broken blinds. The lady at the front desk was super friendly and gave us a short tour. It is just a short walk to Old Town. I would stay here again. In fact, when we saw our place we wished we stayed longer to use the patio and everything.

Very pleasant place to stay. The staff is incredible. Remember, these are casitas, not 5 star hotel rooms, so there is some dust and a spider it two, but the charm is worth it. They took care of a challenge (bad a/c) before we even said anything (they heard it struggling, and decided to fix it), and when they did, they comped us a night. The only negative is that a maintenance person came in when we had the do not disturb sign up. Otherwise, it was perfect.

Very cute hotel. Fixtures are old, feels very charming. Everybody has their own little outdoor area and the courtyard is very pretty at night. Honestly, the breakfast is probably the best in town of youre looking for something good that isnt 12 lbs of cheese (church st. Is a tad heavy 😬). The green chili sauce is very good.

During the covid-19 period, I specifically booked this hotel and saw the cleanliness was 9.0. But the sanitary is very poor. When we entered the room to take a shower at 9:30pm, We found old trash and a lot of long hair on the sheets. My husband said that this kind of bed linen has never been washed. We checked the other bedroom, and my husband said he endured it for one night. The hotel environment and location is very good, yard is beautiful and the breakfast is good. But the sanitation is relatively poor, I hope the hotel can improve.

The staff were very kind, accommodating, layed back and very professional. The inner courtyard of the property has brick paths that meander around mature trees and lawns with benches tucked here and there to enjoy the gardens. Style reminds me of a mini El Pinto, which I love. Casitas are clean and comfortable with southwestern decor (bead spread and couch in Turquoise could be a bit cleaner or replaced, bit Im kind of picky). Breakfast was varied and yummy. Cooks were accommodating and attentive. One downside might be that you are so close to Central that you can hear the traffic in the distance at night. But loved the staff and courtyard! A fun, safe retreat, close to lots of downtown entertainment.

More of a compound than a bnb, with walled boundaries enclosing gardens, big shady trees, separate entrances to your room off the courtyard, and rooms that have names (Rose, OKeefe) rather than numbers. A lovely glassed in dining area and cooked to order breakfast included is in the rate. Looks like they host a lot of weddings, from the number of photo albums in the lobby. That would surely be a fun way to do it, all the guests gathered in the courtyard and able to stay right here afterwards.

Wonderful place, service & location! We were sold on staying here from the moment we talked with Margaret and Dalton at reception! Very friendly and informative. Clear directions on how to find the property and bonus that they have a big parking lot adjacent to the property which could accommodate our 55’ truck+5th wheel. Upon checkin, Trissy gave a warm welcome and personally walked us to our casita, which was charming, authentic SW style and comfortable. Outside spaces are cozy and inviting. Within a few minutes walking distance of quaint Old Town with fun little shops and lovely church and town park. And only 15 min walk from the vibrant Sawmill Market. Back to the casita, bed was very comfortable and breakfast options very good and plentiful (compliments to the chef!), with seating in the cheerful sunroom. The perfect place to break up a long road trip!

We had a room with a kitchenette. So we brought bread,pb&j. But guess what. No dishes at. All. They charged me extra for my 2 kids in a room that sleeps 4 anyway and said it was breakfast cost. ( that they save bu making you a small breakfast to order and you cant have seconds, also small glasses of juice they only fill half way and make you pay for water lol) so after paying the extra fee and nobody coming to clean the room. We asked for fresh towels. The lady was only able to give us 3 because she said thats all they said I can have. Also no soap at the sinks. Dead bugs . Really needs updated. We came into a 100 degree room . They wouldnt even cool it down. Before we got there. The list goes on. The list goes on . The best part was the 1st day we had the most friendly cook, we enjoyed him. Second day we came back with a tip because we did enjoy having his friendliness to us and our baby. Second day we had where disappointed he wasnt ther to give our tip to and enjoy his hospitality.

Charming New Mexico bed & breakfast with an equally charming history behind it. Being able to have an entire 1 or 2 bedroom apartment with kitchen to yourself for the price of a fancy hotel room is a big plus! And some rooms get their own private parking spot, which is great! The breakfast served everyday is made to order by a personable chef and is free for your entire stay depending on your room. Its quite delicious, too! Yes, a number of the appliances and features in the rooms are antiquated by 21st century standards, but I found them part of the charm this place offers. There are plans to update certain aspects of the rooms from what I heard, but I hope they dont take those improvements too far. I enjoyed my time here and its authenticity - 5 stars.

Wonderful hidden gem. I booked it online at the last minute after doing a little research into other places in the area at that price range. The rooms (living room, bedroom, kitchen, bath) were very homey and comfortable. It was like a mini-home away from home. Loved the artistic decor. I understand it’s even better during the greener months. My ‘house” even had a personal driveway. All of the staff were super friendly and the breakfasts were awesome. It was decorated in Southwestern decor and very comfortable. The bed was excellent and it had a full size refrigerator and freezer. The grounds are very charming and beautifully landscaped. Because it is a very old hotel, there is not central air conditioning. There were a few hiccups with our stay. The air conditioning didnt work very well for the amount of space, and the front yard needed some serious attention. The kitchen was lacking a few universally stocked items, but the management was super nice and brought us what we needed. But here are the things I found immensely more important...The staff was kind and flexible when we had to arrive later than we had expected. Our casita was adorable. Original hardwoods, retro kitchen, beautiful grounds, absolutely gorgeous bathroom in the Southwestern tile design and heated tile floors. We had a private driveway and a private patio under a fruiting plum tree. From the patio, an old stone walkway took us through the courtyards, each of which was beautifully decorated with hidden nooks of babbling fountains and flowering shrubs and vines. Walking in the winding through the beautiful grounds would eventually lead to the office and dining room, in which a cooked to order breakfast is served every morning. Casas de Suenos was romantic, authentic, and had an amazing history. To top all if that off, it was a short walk to Old Town Albuquerque with all of its shops, restaurants, and events.

The bathroom was a disgrace - the tiles by the toilet were disgusting.. urine stains all down them. The kitchen units had tea stains down them and there was stake food in the cupboards, the corners of the floors were gathering dirt and the bedding was gross!!! We had to call the owner out at midnight to bring us clean sheets... they smelt sweaty and dirty, there was hairs all over the mattress and the sheets were even ripped and to top it off we caught a cockroach under a glass.
