Helpful beyond words. This is the BEST mechanic. My husband was stuck in Albuquerque when he started having car problems. I called 5+ mechanics and no one could get him in same day. The staff at Don’s Auto & Service Center got him in same day, and fixed the problem. It was such an easy fix. Being so far from home, it would have been easy for someone to take advantage of the situation. These guys were even helpful when we called months later from our home state. AMAZING.

Don and his crew are very helpful and very thorough. They take the time to make sure that your car is ready to roll efficiently and if its something that they spot and cant fix they definitely point you in the right direction.

Brought in my truck for a coolant leak and oil leak. Fixed the coolant leaked and Cliff was very honest about the oil leak and offered (and did) clean up the oil pan so we can monitor it to ensure if it is actually leaking rather than just sepage from being 25 years old even though I was ready to pay for the possible oil leak. Will absolutely go to again and if the truck is infact leaking oil, I trusts Dons to fix it. Price was very fair as well. Truck was fixed same day with a new radiator, thermostat, gasket, hoses, and a battery as well.

We were traveling from Las Vegas to Houston when our truck started acting up. We googled the nearest mechanic with good reviews and ended up in Don Auto & Services Center. It turned out to be a leak from the transmission, but Don came out and looked at what was going on and sent us to a transmission repair shop. We were so thankful for his help and sending us where we needed when we are not from around here!

Good people trying to do a good job, Id recommend them for auto repairs and what not. Anything else though and they arent worth a damn but they know cars.

I dont write online reviews, but out of gratitude I feel it is important to write this one.A few months ago I was on a road trip driving from Texas to Colorado. My car broke down near Albuquerque on a Saturday (when most auto shops are closed) and I had the car towed - AAA brought it to Dons. I had to continue on the trip in a friends car that was part of the road trip and leave my car in Albuquerque for a mechanic to look at. To add to the complications - I wouldnt even be able to make it back to Albuquerque for a few days due to my obligations in Colorado.I called Dons and spoke with Cliff on Monday. I explained the situation and he agreed to take a look at the car. Long story short: I was in a terribly stressful situation, worried about my car, and in a different state. They had every opportunity to take advantage of that but instead Cliff was able to diagnose the problem (not even mechanical - bizarre issue with tires), treated me with the utmost respect, and was very understanding of the situation - agreeing to provide storage for my car until I could get back to Albuquerque a few days later. They are a smaller shop and it probably wasnt easy for them to have my car there taking up space without being worked on, but they bent over backwards to accommodate the crappy circumstances I was in. I offered to pay for the storage of the car but since they didnt do any mechanical work they didnt charge me anything.What started off as a disaster was mitigated by the staff at Dons (and especially Cliff) and I cant thank them enough.

First time customer at Dons Auto and Services Center. Took my truck there for a brake light and signal problem. Dons diagnosed problem in a very timely manner. Cost for repair was very reasonable. Great customer service! To boot I had my battery replaced with a quality battery at a cost I couldnt have done cheaper myself. Dee in the front office was friendly and took care of me quickly. I called Dons to schedule a pre-sale inspection of a used vehicle. They provided a free once-over, and did so in a timely, courteous manner, even though I changed the appointment twice. They gave me some information that was functionally important, including some feedback that the dealer didnt expect. Had I needed their services, I would have had them do repairs without hesitation; as it was, the dealer provided the repairs.Highly recommended!!

I hit a huge pot hole this morning on Wyoming Blvd, which thankfully ended up having me pull over into a lot that is shared with Don’s Auto Services Center. I’m 8 months pregnant and had my toddler with me so I was definitely feeling frazzled as to what to do (especially since my husband is away on business all week so I didn’t have him nearby to come help us). I noticed the auto shop pretty quickly and walked us over there. The manager told me they did not do new tires, but he would put a spare one on for me so I could at least get my car to a mechanic who could. He and a few other gentleman working there put the spare on for me, and were very nice to explain exactly what was wrong with the rim/tire so I’d know what to tell a mechanic. After they were done, I asked the manager if I could pay them and he said “Nope-if it were my wife and child in this kind of situation, I would just appreciate someone helping them”.I could not be more grateful for the help I recieved today, and the kindness of the men who helped me from Don’s Auto Services. I will definitely be coming back for any future services needed!

Lie after lie just to get what ever he wanted. I bought a vehicle from him and having to go back for mechanical problems. All along come to find out from a real mechanic, is that It needed a new engine due to a major oil leak. To this day he will still rip people off and then refer them to someone else by the name of Scott. Watch out! They work together.s

Took my 2007 F250 in for plug replacement and they broke off plug and dropped into cylinder. They couldnt get out so they called me to have towed out of their shop. The $250 spark plug replacement has now turned into a $9000 engine replacement for my $5000 truck. They didnt even offer to pay for Tow to my house and showed absolutely NO concern for Customer Satisfaction. Don thought $9000 was good price for new engine. I thought $250 was good price for spark plug replacement.

AMAZING PEOPLE WOWOk so my radiator crapped out on me and I was super stressed about it. These guys got the job done quick and very well!!! They are competitively priced and have a great vibe in the shop (plus a super cute pupper named Ratchet). Great place, and whatever they did under the hood made my SUV drive better than Ive felt in awhile. 10/10 I recommend!

My wife and friend were traveling cross-country and realized the friends cars battery was dying. I called from 2,000 miles away, spoke with Dee, and arranged for Dons to have a battery ready and waiting to be installed. The pair arrived, the battery was waiting, and 20-minutes later, they were back on their way...heading West. Service and people were exceptional and my wife wanted me to share their experience with others.

They told me if they fix the problem while they diagnosed my car less than 30 mins it will be free. I thought wow cool Imma come over and let them check then for about 5 min they told me they fixed the problem. And they charged me over 100 bucks and they wouldnt let me take my car and leave and their words are fake.. Especially that fat white dude.. He looks racist. Worst of the worst. And that front lady is rude you can tell she is a stuck up.. All I wanted was to talk and she acted like shes better and all when I want to make friend because the phone call I made and what they said seems to be real and true but in person they are really bad services. I wish I can get 0 star and get them shut down.
