Incredible experience. Came in with a subwoofer and amp setup I got as a hand-me-down and thought needed replacing. The older guy at the counter let me test a new subwoofer and he adjusted settings and got me sent out of there sounding much better without even buying anything. Best customer service in town. If I end up wanting any upgrades I will ABSOLUTELY be coming to them. Best Buy and Audio Express dont even come close.

They have always been known for quality and high end work for over 20 years. I brought my truck here to have them install a new Alarm I bought online and was going to do myself, 7 months later it was still on the bench. I called and made an appointment and they got it done in a few hours. The install looks clean clean my remote start works perfect and I’m glad I spent the money to have quality work done by a reputable shop.

Someone popped the lock on my car and tried stealing it so I took it here and got a car alarm installed in my 96 jeep Cherokee, they did an amazing job. Wish I could rate more than 5 stars, nothing like not having to worry itll get stolen or broken into (and having remote lock and unlock on a 25 year old car is sick.) The install was quick and the pricing was straightforward, with sales tax it came out to about $300. Thank you!

This is the place to go if you need help installing your car stereo. I went all over Albuquerque and none of the other places could help me out but then I went to Mesa Radio and told them my situation and right away they told me what I had to do. I will be buying all my speakers from here for now on. Great customer service and the best staff around hands down.

I sleep well at night now. . .Update, I was able to stay on the road after they repaired my turn signals. We deliver medical devices and its essential that we drive safely. Edited to include: on 18 February 2021My lady is on the road for work. She stays at high end Hotels with good security. This morning at 05:30 her key fob started vibrating. She rushed downstairs to find numerous footprints in the fresh snow around her car. The State of the art Viper security system you installed for us did its job, in bitter cold. Her car was not damaged and the person with bad intentions decided flee. Thank you for keeping my lady safe, hundreds of miles from home.

Great guys. Brought in a recently acquired shuttle bus purchased for our business to diagnose the non-operating audio issue. Wiring was a mess, took a while to sort out, but they got in done within a couple of hours. Replaced the head unit, solved a puzzle involving multiple antenna lines that lead nowhere, and answered questions about potential future upgrades without any effort to upsell immediately. Will use again for other vehicles in our fleet.

Kind of an ok experience. Took way longer to install than what he estimated and when I get home I find out that the mic was not properly installed and was not working. So I have to go back to have them re-do it. The owner doesnt even apologize for the mistake. Gets all huffy because apparently its my fault that they didnt do their jobs correctly.

Mesa Radio is a great local shop for all car electronic accessories! They installed a backup camera in my car and updated head units in all of my family members’ cars. They’ve always done great work and reasonable prices compared to other shops and Best Buy.

Spend your money here. It will get you a good deal, outstanding service, quality products, and a commitment after the sale. We are from out of state and our radio died. Mike got us right in and on the road in just a few hours. If your looking for professional quality this is the place.

Mike was great and final product good. They did a great job put it in making adjustments to insure looking good. As a result am having new speakers put in To compliment disc radio unit.

Okay, dont expect a Best Buy experience when you walk into Mesa Radio. It is not stocked with thousands of the latest and greatest junk from China. What Mesa Radio lacks in inventory, it MORE than makes up for in service and integrity. They are extremely knowledgeable, honest and creative.I have a 2007 Saab 9-4. If you know anything about Saabs, youll know that they went completely out of business, and its hard to get parts. I wanted bluetooth functionality for my iPhone, and I couldnt figure out how to make it happen.I walked into Mesa Radio, and they did the research, and figured out how to replace my current receiver with a state-of-the-art receiver, taking advantage of my steering-wheel controls (I had read I would have to loose those controls if I replaced my receiver). Mesa Radio can order just about anything, and their installation is very professional and top-notch.The owner is not a pushy sales-man. If youre thinking about any electronics for your vehicle, make sure you go by these people and at least see what they can do for you.

I needed an alarm installed and asked around to several friends to see who they recommended. They all said Mesa Radio, so I gave them the job. Mike and the guys did a great job for a fair price. They were very knowledgeable about my vehicles electrical system even though its an older truck. The install was done very cleanly as well, no sign of any shoddy wiring like so many places do these days. Mike even gave me a few minutes of his time looking at another problem I had with my other car for no charge. You wont find that at very many shops these days!

Mesa Radio sold me a very nice Alpine system, had it all installed within an hour or so of purchase, and did a great job of installing it. A previous owner of my car had done a terrible job of installing a stereo and made a complete mess of things, but the Mesa Radio folks cleaned it all up and made it all right again. The cost was reasonable, and the service was outstanding. Couldnt be happier.

Do not take your vehicle to these guys! They used to have a good reputation but looks like things have gone downhill. I took my truck to them to have an amp and subwoofers/box installed and they did a terrible job! First of all, the wire connections were poorly done, the terminals on the speaker wire for the sub box were cheap quality, and they didnt tune the system properly. When I went to pick it up, the owner just hands me the keys and tells me to go check it out with a i dont care type of attitude. I ended up having to purchase new terminal connectors after they just came apart, redid the wire connections including the power and ground for the amp as they had wires coming out of them and had to vacuum the area where the amp was installed as they didnt even have the decency to clean up after themselves! All of this is unacceptable for a paying customer!

Helpful, honest & they know their stuff. Couldve sold me a new XM satellite receiver that I was willing to buy, but got the job done by repositioning my antenna at a fraction of the price.

Hope this info helps, I took my care to the Toyota (Miller) dealer and they referred me to Mesa Radio to install a better stock stereo. I took my vehicle to Mesa Stereo on 2/6/15. Needed them to install a brand new stereo I got from a dealer. OEM factory Stereo to fit my Toyota. Manager assisted me and stated for me to give him my number and he will research to put my stereo in. He stated he will call me during that week. Now it 2/13/15 and no calls. I called on 2/13/15 and manager stated that he will still research and to get back during the week coming up. ( Remember its a OEM factory radio that the dealer said would fit ). No calls again. Now its 2/19 and I called again and manager stated that he does not know if it would fit but he can try it. This was going to be a gift for my wife on Valentines Day.Note. Businesses can pay to alter or remove their reviews.

Ive used Mesa Radio for over a decade. If you have a car that you care about, I would not use any other place for services. Some installations require modification and dismantling of your vehicle. You want a place like Mesa Radio that knows what they are doing.

Was a good weekend. Looking for a car alarm they gave me a great qoute which was half off what I was quoted at another major chain. They were able to do it the same day as well. The other store I went to wouldnt be able to do it until a week later. So glad I shopped around and didnt drop my money at the home of the $1 installation. Almost lost out on over $700+ . Great customer service great prices

The reviewer below me is as far off base as their grammar is poor. First and foremost, more than half of the people working for him were hispanic, and he was as exceedingly professional and courteous to them as he was to me. I had Mesa install a viper one way alarm, kenwood receiever and full set of alpine speakers in my 93 Toyota 4runner. Not only was his service fast and efficient, but he pulled out the annoying wiring mistakes that plagued my old sound system. Mesa is a small local business doing very high quality work, I wouldnt hesitate to recommend them for any type of electronic automotive work.

Hes as racist as the south can get!!! Is he from HERE?!?!?! Does NOT like hispanics! I had an alram and GPS system installed on my car here. Upon inspection of completed work, exposed wires were dangling from underneath the dash and my foot got tangled on them and I couldnt engage my clutch after leaving the shop. Components were not installed where I had requested... Extra parts that were part of the installation kit that were not used in my install were not provided to me. Im assuming that Mesa Radio keeps these extra parts which is not ethical... Its like DOUBLE CHARGING!!!!... Once i got home my car would NOT arm with provided alarm remote. I popped the hood to look for the problem and i found several exposed loose wires not fastened properly, dangling centimeters away from my serpentine belt. I PANICKED and called my mechanic. My mechanic asked me if I installed this wiring and I told him no Mesa did! I called Mesa Radio and advised them of the problem and they told me that his shop does not install wires like that they must be something else. I told him that no one else has touch this car because its less than a year old. Obviously the owner does not have quality control :( He told me He could NOT do nothing for me and all sales final... In conclusion poor horrible, unethincal, deceiving, mantpulative, customer service via the Owner himself! Mesa Radio did not go over product features after the install, he just handed over the keys and said goodbye and mentioned the manual is in the glove box. I asked if he could go over the feautes with me and he said he was busy with a customer inside (they were non hispanic). I do not do well under hostile racist environments, I decided to take my used pieced together products that I have purchased at Mesa Radio i.e open box re-used components and have another shop fix Mesa Radio mistakes. Why is it so hard to find good customer service in Albuquerque. DO NOT BUY YOURSELF OR LOVED ONES A PRODUCT AT THIS HOLE IN THE WALL CON SHOP! Happy Holidays!!!
