All if the guys in the shop are great. We were in town for the day only and the blower wasnt working in our truck air conditioning. They brought it in and took a look at it same day. it is awesome to have businesses like this willing to help out of town folks when they need it! I highly recommend giving them a call for the customer service alone.

Iwas referred to Hogans by my mechanic after he couldnt fix my problems. Another mechanic had suffered replacing the entire electrical harness. At Hogans I was taken care of well on a busy day when I wasnt expected. Electrical problems had plagued my vehicle since I bought it 3 years ago. I was to the point of thinking it was time to sell it and after just a few hours all the problems were fixed beyond my expectations. I will certainly recommend them to anyone with electrical issues in a vehicle. In so excited to have new life breathed into my vehicle.

I got referred to Hogan’s by Rob from Tranco. Was told that they’re always busy. He told me to ask for Gino. I called and spoke to Gino and sure enough he didn’t have an opening for the next two days. I asked if I could tow my vehicle there earlier and he said it was fine.I’m a bit confused with the bad reviews because Gino was very friendly and professional when I got there.Honestly, I saw the bad reviews after the car was already was dropped off. Didn’t rely too much on reviews but you never know.Just as Gino promised, my vehicle was up and running and works great. Prior to taking it to Hogan’s two mechanics looked at it and couldn’t figure out the electrical problem.You have specialists in the medical field like a heart doctor or endocrinologist, these guys specialize in electrical problems.Overall, I am very impressed and satisfied with the work they did and highly recommend them if you want your vehicle fixed.

Other than the location the service was good, with insight into why my daytime running lights were not working. I brought the car in at 8 am and was out by 9:30, with a reasonable bill. Waiting area is comfortable and clean. I wish this shop had a better location than Aztec, but the trip was worth it. They know electrical systems and made my car right. Very trustworthy. I recommend you give them a try.

My Mini Cooper is saved! I love the staff at Hogans Automotive. I loaned my car to a friend and he ruined my motor and I was getting very high estimates to replace it. When I called Hogans they quoted me half of what the other shops were charging. It took them 9 days to get it back to me and it runs better than when I first bought it. My super charger works so much better. I love my mini:0)

In search of a real mechanic!! I dont know about most of you, but if youre like me Ive been in search of a good mechanic, with knowledge and integrity. I recently had a great experience at Hogans Automotive. I have a old 1987 Chevrolet Cavalier LS.. Relatively low mileage, runs like a dog, spits sputters, back fires, terrible gas mileage, I use to love it when it when it ran, now that it doesnt I hate it. Fix it fix it, but who? Several hundred dollars later and couple of mechanic shops, she still was sick! A good friend recommended Hogans Automotive, talked to Hogan sounded like he knew what to do. Well unfortunately when I got the car out of the shop, she still looked the same!!But boy did she run GREAT!!! Better than ever, better than when I bought it. Shes my little meatball, ugly as hell but man oh man, she runs Great!!!Thank Hogan for taking care of my meatball!! I really loved the service and the professionalism the people gave me and my family when our car needed so much work done. They let us pay at separate times cause I didnt have all the money I needed. I had my 2013 Cadillac that I bought at an insurance auction that had been in a flood. I tried a lot of shops and to no avail including all the GM dealerships. No one could get my Cadillac running. The super masters at Hogans automotive got it running!!!! I thought I was going to sell it for parts but they came through and fixed it. Im so impressed that a shop outside the dealership could fix it after all the GM dealers would not attempt it. I fully recommend this extremely knowledgeable establishment!!

I had been looking all over the city trying to find a trustworthy and reliable shop. Well I have found it!! From when I walked in the front door to getting my car back fixed right the first time without taking every cent I had.

They were great. I needed a speedometer calibrated quickly to address an out-of-state ticket. Because I live in Santa Fe, they fitted me in so I wouldnt have to leave my car overnight. They were thoroughly professional, competent, and very gracious about accommodating my unique documentation requirements. Staff was friendly and professional, and the cost was very fair.

Really friendly but doesnt get the job done properly. I took my car in for some basic work ended up with a giant mess. Long story short after replacing a bunch of hoses for the cooling system and doing other work they couldnt even put the radiator cap back on properly so I ended up with an overheating engine on the side of the road and no coolant.Fast forward a few years Im having to do more work only to find stripped bolts, missing bolts, and a host of other things that werent put back together properly. All of a sudden I understand why my check engine light is on. Most of the sensors werent pugged back in.The guy was nice the mechanics were totally inept.

Were extremely disappointed and upset with the service we received at Hogans Automotive. In October 2019, at the recommendation of another mechanic, we brought our 2006 Jetta TDI to Hogans for diagnostic and repairs. After performing diagnostics, they recommended several repairs: replacement of fuel pump, fuel filter, tandem high pressure fuel pump, and rack & pinion. These repairs cost us a hefty $3,280! When we went to pick up our Jetta, we opened the doors and were blasted with an extremely strong diesel fuel odor. Over the next week, we kept all of the windows open to let the car air out. Airing out was not effective. Whenever I drove the car, I felt nauseous and my coworkers even commented that my clothes smelled like diesel fuel. We stopped driving the Jetta because the smell was unbearable. We called Hogans and asked them what happened and they said that some diesel fuel must have spilled when they were removing the old fuel pump. We asked them to remedy the odor issue and they offered to clean the Jetta. We brought the Jetta back to Hogans to get rid of the diesel odor. They basically shampooed the carpets, which masked the diesel odor for 2 days. And, based on their nonchalant reaction to our complaint, we got the feeling they thought the odor in the car was not a big deal. Fast forward 5 months, and the diesel odor is lighter but still present. If you look up DIY videos online, for replacing a Jetta TDI fuel pump, the mechanics clearly state that you must be careful not to spill fuel in the car by using a catch tray. Hogans mechanic was obviously careless and did not use a catch tray. MORE IMPORTANTLY THAN THE DIESEL FUEL ODOR: In January 2020, we began occasionally driving the Jetta again and are having mechanical issues. It wont start up even on a very slight incline, and has to be on a flat/level surface to start. And even then, it does not always start. We think that there might be air in fuel line perhaps because it was not sealed/tightened properly. Given the carelessness of Hogans work with spilling diesel fuel in the car, and the extreme inconveniences we have experienced not being able to drive the car and nausea from the strong odor, we do not want to bring it back to them to check the issue of the car not always starting up. Even though their warranty is 1-yr., we are not confident in the quality of their work and do not intend to bring it back to them. So, we will have to spend additional funds to correct their poor work and for a thorough detail job to attempt to clean out the diesel odor. We do not recommend Hogans Automotive!!!

Unless you specifically know what repair is needed AVOID this place like the plague. I brought in an issue with my truck blowing turn signal fuses and the AC not working after a recharge after a recommendation from a chain brake place. I agreed to one hour diagnostic. Returning after an hour I poked my head into the yard to see what was being done to my vehicle. one tech testing fuses on the fuse box. I then got yelled at for being in their yard.i waited and a manager came out to explain that there were shorts under the fuse box and they could get me on the road for $1395!! After I got the sticker shock he tried to convince me that i already had two hours labor in the vehicle and it would be at least another 7 hours. I stated that they only had one hour in the vehicle and he tried to convince me it would take an hour to put it back together. Thats when I smelled the scam - putting the cover back on the fuse box does not equal one hour labor. When I suggested that he backed off the two hour charge, but still tried to scare me that it could blow the ECU or cause a fire in the truck. I left with a thanks but no thanks.Calling around a few places I got the scale of the scam they tried to run, I eventually found an honest mechanic who traced the problem to a short in the trailer wiring and the fact the lead to the AC dryer was not plugged in - a fact these automotive electricians completely missed in their one hour diagnosis - and charged me $100.If you are trade or have an idea of what the repair should cost then you may get good service from this business, but for the unwary my experience was an attempt to blind you with problems to extract as much cash as possible from you. AVOID!!!!

They have been referred to us by our last mechanic who could help our situation with our Buick. The car was done and ready. And I recommend them in the Albuquerque area. Highly Satisfied 👍👍💯

Worst customer service ever. Took my car in for a electrical problem. First I was told my car started fine in the morning which it didnt. Then they told my 73 year old mother that the battery was swollen. It wasnt. So when she brought a battery to them and asked them to put it in they refused to help her bring the battery in or carry it back to her car because it was 430 and they wouldnt do it. The owner walked by her while she was carrying it. I just hope these people dont believe in karma cause if I ever saw a 73 year old woman carrying a heavy battery and I didnt help her.

These guys do good work. Earlier this year (2016) my sons 2002 Pontiac Grand Am had an inconsistent no start problem. I tried many things in an attempt to repair the problem. I just couldnt fix it. I heard about Hogans Automotive from another shop and how Hogans specialized in electrical work. I had to bring it back to Hogans twice. It was one of those difficult electrical issues that I knew would be hard to fix. I used to be an auto mechanic so I know many things about auto repair. The first time they made it start most of the time, so I brought it back. The second time they fixed it and it starts all the time. It takes a special guy to want to fix electrical problems on cars and they have those technicians at Hogans. Sometimes electrical problems can take more than one visit to a shop, thats the way it is. Hogans has the know how to get it done right.

Hogan was a lifesaver He really helped me out in a pinch with prompt service at a fair rate. He was one of the only mechanics I could find locally to do the ECM rebuild service that I required to get my wifes Toyota back on the road. I found out about Hogans when a buddy of mine passing through a road trip blew out the hub on his Bronco. Not only did Hogan find a great used part, he turned the job around in 3 days during the last days of December. This past fall my Neon blew a ring and Hogan performed a complete valve job--my car has never run so smoothly. Hes a great guy, genuine, knowledgeable, and a vet to boot. His mechanics are the cream of the crop. They live for the hard jobs and shine when it comes to getting them done. Take you car to Hogan--again and again. Youll never need another mechanic.

Hogan has been my mechanic for over 10 years, he has kept my 2001 Malibu running great and it now has over 200,000 miles on it.

HORRIBLE, They scammed me on my chevelle they quoted me 2000 dollars to rewire my chevelle when this whole ordeal was done I ended up paying almost 3,500 dollars what are you to do pay it or let them keep your car? And they had my car for almost 5 months how does it take 5 months to rewire a car??? They said they would rebuild my carburetor which they didnt do and put a new alternator in which they put in a crappy $40 one it so basically I paid them $500 FOR 40 DOLLAR ALTERNATOR THESE GUYS SCAMMED ME I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM AT ALL USE AT YOUR OWN RISK THEY ARE TOTAL SCAM ARTISTS!!!!!!!!!
