I love Mathnasium in Albany! My son has been tutored by them for a few years. . His understanding of math concepts and him confidence in his abilities has greatly increased. I love that he’s no longer spending hours working on math homework. One of the best things about our experience is that he really likes attending. He loves the knowledge and tips that he receives from the tutors. If you are looking for your child to understand math concepts, enjoy math more and be successful in math, I highly recommend Mathnasium!

Mathnasium has helped my son to improve on his basic math skills and to become more confident learning new math. There are never any technical difficulties, all tutors are very professional, encouraging and attentive to my son throughout the tutoring session and Andre has been very flexible with us, getting my son what he needs. My son enjoys the challenge, although he would never admit it. I am very happy with our experience using Mathnasium.

Mathnasium is great. Im especially grateful for Mathnasium now that we are sheltered in place. I am very confident that my daughter (nine years old) will be more than ready for her next grade level despite the schools shutdowns. She has been going to the Berkeley/Albany Center for almost a year. She enjoys the tutoring and now feels very confident with her math skills. Andre, the owner of the Berkeley/Albany and the Piedmont center is offering on-line tutoring which means my daughter hasnt missed a step from the program. The online program is easy and uses the same materials, methods and tutors that he had at the center. I think a main reason she enjoys the sessions is due to the programs ability to tailor the work to the individual child. She is always challenged by the work but not overwhelmed. Therefore she continues to enjoy the sessions and looks forward to her next session. Once you speak with Andre, you will see that he is committed to providing an excellent math education to the children in our community. He has a certain talent in hiring tutors who are patient, kid friendly and knowledgeable. During this trying time of home schooling and sheltering, Im so grateful for Mathnasium. I encourage anyone who wants their child to stay on track with their math education during the shut down and beyond, to try Mathnasium.

Andre and the entire staff at Mathnasium are a group of educators that genuinely cares. My daughter is slowly but steadily meeting her goals...She only started just recently but she is already building up her confidence! She always looks forward to her classes.

Andre and his team of tutors are fantastic at helping children from where they are to where they need to be in Math. Mathnasium creates a plan on how to do that and the tutors then help the students work thru the modules set up for their particular goals. My daughter has had such a confidence boost and it was clear just after two weeks of tutoring. I am so grateful Andre has opened a center such as this in our neighborhood.

Very helpful. Great communication between the parents and tutors. My daughter, 9th grade, enjoys coming there. Results are there.

My 7 year old daughter did not want to go here at all. She complained, said she didnt need help and I had to drag her there. After her assessment and first day, she LOVES it and begs to go daily. The tutors are super friendly and make the kids feel welcome- they give regular prizes which get the kids excited about finishing their worksheets.For parents- The owner has made this after school activity super convenient for parents! I signed up for 3 hours of tutoring per week, we can come in anytime during their business hours for our slots, no need to adhere to a strict day/time and if you take a vacation, your hours will roll over and you wont lose them. Highly recommended and well worth your money!!

Our 5th grade daughter worked the cash register and made change at her schools book fair. She was told that she was calculating change better than the 7th graders. She said that shed learned how to do it at Mathnasium!
