First time trying Dominics Barber Shop and I was very happy with my experience. Liz cut my hair exactly to my preference. After working on my hair I wanted a hot shave as well and she was able to shave me without any cuts! Looking and feeling great after this experience and I’m def going back! Highly recommended... relaxed atmosphere, very professional.

Great place to get your hair cut. All of the barbers are very polite and welcoming. Liz is very kind and courteous. She does a great job and hooked me up. :)

Great shop! First time there Liz gave me one of the best cuts Ive had in a while. Very friendly barbers, especially towards the families that came in.

The 5 stars is for the experiences Ive had there the past 10 years with Doug. The rest is the experience I had today. Doug is the best barber on planet, hands down. Every time I go in, I always leave looking fresh and clean cut. The 1920s gentleman looking guy in the corner by the back door, though? Not so much and heres why. I went in expecting Doug but he was out that day. I really needed a haircut so I stuck around and waited for whoever was available next. I got the gentleman described above and sat down. He asked what I do on the sides so I said 1 with a fade. Then hes like dramatic fade? Now in my head a dramatic fade is high and tight marine style so I say no. Regular fade I guess. He asked what I want to do in the back and I said 1 with a fade as well. He looked at my neck and gave me a face and said I dont know if we can do a fade on you. You have a neck for a round off. Now, Im 31 years old. Ive been getting my hair cut like this for at least 15 of them and 10 of them here at Doms. Never have I ever once had an issue with getting a fade. So I say Ive always gotten a fade and its never been a problem. He says a lot of barbers say they give fades but they really dont. Im thinking ...what? He again tries to convince me to do a round off instead. Again I say no Id like a fade. I dont like the way round offs look. In my head Im like whats his guys deal? So right off the bat, it wasnt looking too promising. Anyway, it takes him 10 minutes just to do the fade and I began wondering if this guy knew what he was doing. At one point I finally spoke up and said I think Dom knows how to do it if you need help but he either didnt hear me or didnt care because he just kept on going. Finally when he swings me around it didnt look like he had even touched the side of my head with the buzzer. My hair was still fairly long. I guess thats what a non dramatic fade looks like. I asked if he could make it shorter and he said sure. I asked politely if it had screwed the haircut up and he made it pretty clear that it had and seemed annoyed about it. Sorry Im not a barber, dude. I dont know what a dramatic fade means I guess. He spends another 10 minutes fixing everything and then moves onto shaving my neck where he nicks me on the ear with the straight razor. Never in my 10 years of getting my neck shaved have I ever been cut. I guess anyone can slip up but keep in mind all the while this guy was cutting my hair, he was rambling on about how he KNOWS hes such a superior barber than most. Hes saying this out loud in front of all the other barbers working, too. So anyway, when I get home, I look in the mirror to get a close look at what just happened and see he left a bunch of cut hair on my forehead and on my ears. Its common courtesy to brush the cut hair off the customers face and ears before they leave but this guy just left it. So in the end this cocky guy who thought he was such a fantastic barber couldnt do a simple fade, cut my ear, let me leave with a bunch of hair on my face and made me feel stupid. Never again will I go to him.

Barber shop little bar on the corner of I think its on the corner of breed and something flashing light I was told that they had a poker game down the street I believe this the one in Amsterdam so I guess it was a nice place I only drove by so I didnt really see in but they said it was nice for what it was the end

Simple, no frills barber shop. My barber was great, and I was in and out.

Jim alcombright is a certified six sigma black belt and along with Tom shattuck created the NYISOs testing and release paradigm still in use today. I witnessed this first hand. He has good hair and his review of this barbershop is legit.

Would not recommend for children’s haircuts. Quality of haircut was severely lacking and was overpriced. In addition, Christie failed to recognize that my twin boys were individuals and treated them each as one half of a whole unit. Disappointed. Won’t be returning.
