Love bricks barbershop. All the men in my family come here. Love Jay he has been cutting my sons hair for awhile. The music is upbeat and conversations that go on in there are either funny, inspirational or about sports. Nice welcoming place. Sometimes there is a lonnnggg wait....Usually weekends but its worth staying!

They open and close when they want to regardless of the hours on the door or website which is unprofessional if they don’t want to be open post that instead of customers thinking they have until a certain time closing 3 hours early I don’t think that’s business savy

Best haircut I’ve ever had. Barely any wait time, the barbers treat you like they’ve known you for years even if you just barely meet them and the service is great. I’ve never had anybody spend so much time on my fade, and the music playing was good stuff. 5 stars for this place, best haircut I’ve ever had.

Bricks is the place to be if you want your haircut done right. I only met Jay, but he couldnt have taken more care; he is a perfectionist! Friendly, real and most importantly skilled. I had a different barber for over a year but a friend of mine referred me here. Now Im sold. Go to Bricks, you wont regret it. 10/10 recommended.

THE BEST BARBERSHOP IN UPSTATE NYI found myself in the capital region and decided to randomly walk into any barbershop but I came out looking like a tasty lil fresh-outta-the-oven SNACK. He took his time to cut my hair, lined me up like a solid line on the I-95. What more can I say? They can cut any hair even if you’re some UFO. Top notch service!!!

I got a nice cut there about 3 weeks ago. I heard its one of the better shops in Albany. Only had to wait for one person in the chair, which aint bad for a Saturday afternoon. When Im back there I will go back for a cut. Would recommend.

Best Barber Shop in Albany hands down. Black owned barbershop who excels in the cutting of fades, shape ups, waves, etc. Calm and friendly vibes in the shop. Can get crowded at times, but if you just communicate with your barber you can avoid all wait times and be in and out. Just like the city, full cut and beard only cost me 17$, but promise you other barbershops will try and head crack you for 25-30$ in the Albany area (plus they are not good). If you need a cut this is your place to go!

I was in Vermont for a day, and stopped in Albany on my way to Hoboken, NJ. Very good haircut and experience! I highly recommend going here. The cut was $20, but my boy Phil did amazing job. He took his time, paid attention to detail, and took care of you. Ask for Phil next time you stop in!

I usually do not post reviews online, however, in this case I will to prevent it from happening to somebody else. I came in and like another person who posted said, the barbers do not acknowledge you if they do not know you which is a turn off because you are actually trying to give the barbershop business. The shop has no organization and no structure. I was given a price by one barber of $17 and when this barber finished my cut, he charged my $20 which tells me that there is NO standard. Based on the picture below, you can see the barber had no care in the world which is a reflection on whomever allowed him to work at their business and on Bricks Barbershop in Albany, New York. In my right mind, I cannot and will not recommend this barbershop to anybody. Unfortunately this barber represent the entire barbershop in my eyes; although that may not be the case, but first impression is very important to me and Bricks barbershop left a horrible first AND last impression. I am sure that the reviews left on here were requested to be made by their friends and everyday customers.
