My friend Brad, and I came to Wal-mart here in Alamo, with a mission to complete his Shaggy costume, for a virtual costume contest. Finding his wig, was kind of difficult with the chaos that we unleashed by being adamantly particular about achieving our preconceived look. Needless to say, we did not find the perfect wig; however, Ali, the store manager at Smart Style located in Alamo. TX, was able to create the perfect Shaggy wig. He used his improvisational skills and converted a wig that Brad and I found on the floor in the Walmart costume aisle. We only bought it because it was the perfect color but the length was so wrong. Thank God Wal-mart placed a SmartStyle with a Smart Stylist right by the Exit. The rest was Alis Shear Creativity! Thanks Ali!

Wanted long layers and curtain bangs....gave me the opposite. gave me spilt ends bad, put to much product in my hair just no to everything..

Its inside a wall mart.The ladies are nice.Usually I ask for the gay dude, though.Because it seems that gay dudes know how to cut mens hair better.That said all the stylist cut hair well.Just adding my 2 cents to the mix...

One of my friend recommended me this smart style hair salon to do a curly perm with Alfonso, I came in today and he gave me a full detail of the perm, also show me the sizes of the rods, which I like .... anyways the result were great I have a curly perm !!!I’m so glad I came to smart styleThank you Alfonso

I have had nothing but excellent service at this salon. The staff is friendly and helpful, and they truly appear to care about how happy their clients are with the service they receive. I will say that it does appear to be consistently understaffed for the amount of clients who go in...there should always be at least two stylists available at any given time, and I usually see only one. Still, in the six times I have been there, they have not let me down.

Today I decided to get my hair shampooed, cut and flat ironed and I mentioned it to my mother and my mom has read the reviews of smart styles the one in Alamo tx and told me to go there and I got my hair done by Alfonso I explained what I wanted and he listen very well and gave me exactly what I wanted and I totally recommend to come get your hair done by him his service was one of a kind LOVEEEEE it ! Like 2 weeks ago I went to the Alamo flea market to get a hair cut name swing bob and the lady told me that she wouldn’t do it on cuz my hair was not long enough from the front that I need it to wait so today on 12/30/2019 I came in to smart style hair salon in Alamo the in inside Walmart and I showed the hair cut I want it to Alfonso and right way he said yes that he would do it felt so happy he is amazing I will sure come back thank u very much I love it Happy New Year.❤️❤️😍 so if any of u want to cut or have a hair style come and ask for him he is very good

Came to smart style as a walk-in, initially I had a curly hair perm, unfortunately I wasn’t satisfied with the result due to my hair being extremely curly than what I wanted, manager was very nice and helped me achieve the style I wanted, thank you :)

I had not been in Smart Style Salon in a long time because of previous bad experiences. However I decided to try it out again and booked an appointment online. Only for a walk in was assisted than someone with an appointment. And I had to wait an extra 40 minutes because another employee was clocking out in 15 minutes and wanted to shop at walmart. What was the point of the appointment?
