Our first move after having kids, boy did I underestimate the amount of stuff we’ve accumulated in the last few years. Ben, Paris, Josh, Rich K., Carl worked from morning to night, they were incredible. They made a really overwhelming move so much easier. The picture shows our living room minutes after they left, at least we have a peaceful spot to rest before we start unpacking all these boxes.

They accurately estimated my move size. The crew was on time and so quick! They came in under the original price estimate. I highly recommend them!

I don’t normally write reviews, but I found them really helpful when I was researching so hopefully this will aid somebody else in their decision. I spent weeks researching movers for my cross-country move from the Cleveland area to NYC. I’m so glad I went with Summit Moving. Not only was their quote the lowest (of the more reputable movers), but the entire process was pretty seamless. Moving in NYC is never easy, but Kenny and Richie L. were pros. They got everything done in less than 2 hours, which is impressive considering all the stuff I had. There were no issues at all. Overall everyone at the company was very communicative and professional. I’ve heard horror stories about other moving companies, so I’m very glad I went with Summit for this move. They took away a lot of the stress that comes with moving. Special thanks to Kenny and Richie for dealing with the NYC leg of the trip. They were great.

I needed to move our timing for a piano move back a month and it was no problem. The day of the move Rick and Paris were responsive and on time. They did a great job moving the piano from a farm house to my home and ensured it was well-protected throughout the move. I like how they used blankets and reusable packing materials to avoid unnecessary waste (keeping it environmentally friends and cost-efficient)!

Ronnie was responsive and helpful in getting my move set up and costing it out. The actual movers, Mike I, Rich S, Rick K, Tim P, DeShawn, and Art were all polite, respectful, and worked hard.I did not like the call I received the morning of the move trying to convince me that I needed to buy additional insurance coverage for my move...before the team arrived, 30 mins out - she was pushy and really tried to upsell me for coverage I didnt need. This type of business practice is slimy and really cast a shadow over an otherwise good experience.

Rick and his team were FANTASTIC. Great guys, good with kids, dogs, careful with our stuff, happy to help in whatever we needed.Now let me give you a quick warning for anyone thinking about going with Summit.I was very disappointed with the call I got from some woman in Massachusetts less than an hour before our scheduled move trying to sell me $500 worth of extra insurance. Insurance is already included in the move and most homeowners are going to handle anything expensive & fragile themselves. I dont know what her commission is on this but moving can be very stressful and I can see people getting talked into insurance they probably dont need right before the trucks show up.This questionable business practice should not reflect poorly on Rick and the rest of his team. They did a great job and I would not be afraid to recommend them in the future.

Very pleased with the staff provided. They did a great job. The negative was that we were expecting 2 large moving trucks, but only had one, plus a smaller rented U-Haul. Therefore, all items could not be moved. No fault of the moving staff, who were awesome! Three of them were Kevin, Tarpon and Kenny.

Richie and Kenny did a wonderful job moving boxes and filing cabinets at my office. I am so appreciative to them making the move easy and quick.

The movers were great guys ....they brought in the piece I ordered, unpacked it and set it up carefully .. but discovered that some of the holes didnt line up (base holes didnt match all of the top cabinet holes). My painter stepped in and suggested that perhaps the base should be turned ... and together, with that discernment, were able to line up 4 or the 7 holes that secure the base to the cabinet. My only disappointment was that they were ready to walk away from it saying the holes didnt line up ... but because my painter suggested flipping the base . and he worked with them ... the unit is now in use. Yes .. there were holes that didnt match up...... but we have 4 of the 7 now secured. Again ... super nice guys .. very willing to help .. very positive attitudes. A really nice feature of this company is that they can receive. shipment for you that a residence cannot receive (since they have docks) .. and you can ship something to them, then have it delivered to your home. Unlike most home movers in this area, I found them very consumer friendly for an unusual request. Good company!

I had Cory W, Ricky, Marquan, John, and Jacinto move us across town and they did an amazing job. They got the job done and moved quickly. They were very professional and easy to work with. I would highly recommend them and will use them again.

I felt they did such a good job that I requested them to delivery our furniture to the new house later this week. They were able to store our stuff due to new house wasnt ready until Friday.Very respectful especially since we are senior citizens and asked alot of questions.

I hired Summit to eliminate the possibility of my son or his friends hurting themselves trying to self-move. I am not sure what my son told Summit when they called him for a pre-move inventory. However, It did not turn out the way that I wanted since there is still a ton of furniture at the house that would not fit in the truck Summit provided. But I cannot fault Summit. Their people were pleasant, polite and professional. The move from Garfield to Akron cost over $2000. Is that a good deal? Heck, I do not know. All I DO know is that they did the job when I needed it done and these days ... its a miracle!

Dakota, Cory H and Cory W were fantastic. I moved from a 3rd floor walk up into a home and they kept a good pace the whole time (not an easy task with so many stairs). They took great care of my belongings, not a scratch to be had. Finishing the job under the quote was the icing on the cake. Cant recommend them enough.

Everything about this move went smoothly from beginning to end. Tim, Smitty, Richard L, Tyler, and Cory H did a great job. They were on time, worked quickly, communicated well with us and each other, and were careful with our stuff. They even finished the job in less time than estimated, so our bill was a little lower than our estimate. We had a great experience with Summit Moving for a local move. The whole crew (David, Antonio, Carl, Kevin B, Denzel and Cory H) were efficient, careful and professional. We had lots of boxes which they moved very quickly. We also had some larger furniture items including a large futon and a very heavy and bulky treadmill that they moved around some tight corners as well as up and down stairs. Sucked and stinked BAD. Would not recommend if you want your things moved or stored. I would only recommend if you like suffering and sadness. ALSO, there were threats made about thieving my valuables, such as my replica Nordic Sword from The Elder Scrolls V: Dragonborn.

Just had my home furnishings packed up by Summit Moving and Storage. The team led by Rich K. and Mike I. was very respectful of my desire to keep my furniture investments, and home in good repair. Runners were used on the floors as possible, my cloth furniture was wrapped carefully, and my art was wrapped and boxed. I have a large, heavy antique upright piano that I needed to move to my new home. When I called, the staff that answered the phone and called and confirmed the move were very helpful and nice. Devan and Kenny were the movers and they were on-time, courteous, and extremely strong! (This piano is extremely heavy!) They did a great job moving - even in the pouring rain! Devan and Tyler helped move some stuff around in the house and moved a fridge for us, I called Tony the Mover but got Summit when I called the number, so something happened there... Went ahead and used Summit which did a good job. I think Summits pricing is about twice the cost of what Tonys used to charge but I agreed to it and they took care of us right away. I did find the experience without hassle and simple, Oh, and I called to schedule at 4:45pm and someone answered the phone and created the service ticket without seeming like I was bothering them too close to 5... that was awesome, I forget his name but he deserves and honorable mention :) Thanks.

From start to finish this was by far the best experience. Devan, Mikey, Kenny and John (Sylvester) were polite, helpful and efficient. Excellent communication with each other and with us! I watched them move and protect my items as if they were their own. They were quick too. As I searched for a company for our move I looked at reviews and saw at other companies customers had complained of ‘slowness’ but not here! I almost want to post on those other company pages and tell them to come here! The guys moved non stop at a safe but efficient pace. We were expecting a 7-8 hour job and these guys did it in under 6 including driving time. If anyone I know needs a moving company this will be the only one I recommend!

I first want to say that JP, John S. Corey, Devan, and Dakota are awesome! They went above and beyond and if I ever have to move again, I want this team. I give them 5 stars because they really hustled and had a great attitude the entire day. It took 7 hours to load and unload my stuff, but they were always moving, always hustling, and remembered almost everything.They will ask you to go through and make sure they got everything, and the only recommendation I can make to future users is to also check outside. It was a little chaotic, and they accidentally left a small table outside, but if you knew what they went through with my move, you would understand why Im not upset. :) I was frazzled, they were doing a lot, and things happen. Great job, great team - keep up the good work!This is a great team, and I recommend this company highly.

We ordered a 60 bathroom sink base for our bathroom remodel. We found out that the marble top of the sink base did not come off. There was no way we could have gotten the entire piece up the stairs. I called Summit Moving for help. They were able to get us on the schedule right away with a fair price since this was an in house move and wouldnt take a ton of time. John Sylvester and Tyler Jones arrived on time and were completely professional. They quickly realized this wouldnt be an easy task, and had to get creative. They were resourceful, thorough and professional.

Moving is stressful to say the least. But John Schaar, David, Dakota, Q, Tyler, and Tarvon helped me through it all. They worked their tails off to get everything out of my home of 27 years, drove it over 2 hours away, and packed it into my storage unit and it was nearly 90 degrees yesterday.
