Last time I took my cat there to get blood testing for his diabetes, they said the vet would call me with his new dosage. Never did. Call two weeks ago to get a refill on his insulin. Was told someone would call me back when I could pick it up. A week goes by with no return call. They really need to get their business together. How can we trust them with our family members with this poor service. If it was their pet. They would expect better service.

First visit since new staff n veterinarian, what a refreshing experience. The decor, new vibes, new everything! I was skeptical seeing a new vet, but I have to say I really loved her and so did my dog. She’s very caring and thorough. The techs were amazing loving and my pet who normally had a hard time with people took to them. Although the wait was long even with an appointment, I couldn’t be more happy and neither could my dog . Thank you everyone there:)

I used Sigler for years for all my animals and they used to be a great place. Since they are under new management it takes over a month to get in and even when they were able to bump up my appointment they ended up cancelling on me and telling me they would call me when the doctor was back and available. I cannot trust the well being of my animals here any more.

Stay away. The new ownership is horrible. When I call them I’m ALWAYS told someone will call me back and days go by and no one does then when I call back I have to repeat everything again only to be told again that someone will call me back.. My last experience is that sadly it’s time to put my dog down and I was told they don’t have time and will call me when they do, that was 4 days ago and still no call. Looks like my beloved old girl is going to a strange new place to be put down.. as if I’m not broken hearted enough, they could care less.. Dr. Marietta is ok but her staff lacks skills.. rude

Stay away from the new practice!Put off a dozen times on appointments and made to reschedule. Finally get in and they wont tell me how much it is for what theyre doing after telling them Im on a strict budget. Only to be overcharged on everything (at least double what they used to charge) and charged for services that they were told not to do. Shady practices like this will hopefully put these scammers out of business.

Been a customer with a multiple animals for a few years, our dogs got in a fight on Sunday night and one needed stitches on her face. We called early Monday morning to get our vet to look at her but they just told us to they were too busy and to basically kick rocks even though she was missing skin on her face, really disappointed in the business. I understand they might be booked up but I really wanted a veterinarian that I trust to at least check her out since I have been a customer for so long. Will not be going back and will not be recommending this place to anyone.

I called for an emergency visit Saturday early for my dog under their care. NO was the answer. I pleaded for help. I said I would wait all day in the parking lot until they had 1 minute to see her and tell me what I could do to help or save her. But NO .All booked up til Sept something. For an emergency on a current patient? My dog died today. Wednesday. 4 days later. I have used this veterinarian for over 30 years. I will NEVER bring another of my loved babies to these people. They dont care about you or your baby. If you guys are THAT .booked up with only 1 doctor, you need to hire more vets to help with the case load. Too many customers, not enough time or care to give a sh**. Thanks. I loved my dog very much. You suck. No stars.

I have always used this veterinarian but I have in the past two years been very disappointed. I have established pets and last year my cat got sick and they were not able to see him during Day hours, after he was released from the emergencyhospital. So I had to take him to a different vet far away. this year he is sick again I called again during daylight business hours : were booked we cant see you. used to be you could go there with no appointment and if an emergency came in we all set and we waited because we knew it was important for the emergency to be seen. now they wont see anybody without an appointment well in advance. This is unacceptable and I am really discouraged and just upset over the way they dont care anymore!!!

It was necessary for us to take our 15 year old terrier Lily to the vet on Monday due to having an abscess on her right knee/leg. Our worst fears were confirmed it was cancer. I really appreciate the work of the vet to support us in the decisions that had to be made and assured us that if we had tried to save her there was not guarantee that they would get everything at worse case or that she would lose her leg. We made the decision to have her put to sleep rather then see her suffer. We were there with her the entire time and was able to see her until the last moment of her life. Thank you for allowing her to die with dignity and allowing us to be with her until the end of her life like we had been with her since she was six months old.Lynne Harper 3-17-20

Took my dog here to be euthanized this am. The actual procedure was quick and peaceful. The staff who greeted us was sweet and very compassionate. The doctor however, ZERO compassion and bedside manner. He didnt even introduce himself. He walked in, asked me to step aside so he could given my dog 2 injections and said he would be back in ten min. He came back, asked me to move out of his way, placed the IV and then gave my dog the final medication. He waited a minute, listened and said I dont hear a heartbeat. ZERO bedside manner. Never apologized, never explained what he was doing. The price of the procedure was fairly inexpensive for the area however, you get what you pay for. This made the trauma from losing our sweet dog that much worse. NEVER again.

The doctors have been emotionally supportive when my pets have passed away. This is a special place in an age where business is more based in profit than personal attention. Usually never post reviews online but this place is absolutely terrible. I hate writing this because they have two vets and they are brothers. One is very very good while the other one is completely lousy. It all started in December when I had to put my dog down due to her old age and constant seizures. It was the hardest thing I had to do and I insisted on staying with her while the procedure went on because I could not leave her alone. The vet I dealt with was the lousy one and he was very impatient with how long the sedatives were taking. He pretty much forced the lethal injection in her even though she wasn’t completely asleep and I had to watch her struggle. The most traumatizing experience of my life. Still I decided to give them another chance due to their low prices. Flash forward 6 months and I got another puppy. The lousy vet saw me once again and when I got his last round of vaccinations they told me I would have to get another rabies shot the day he got fixed (Uhhh... no other vet agrees that he needed another rabies shot a month after receiving his shot). My puppy is four pounds and all the shots they gave him put him in such pain that he was paralyzed for 24 hours. The vet’s solution? Give him another shot. It was horrible. But it gets worse. The day before my dog was supposed to get fixed I call the vet to ask about what I should do to prepare my dog before the procedure. They then told me that they had been trying to call to reschedule. I told them that no one in my family received a call and that since this is the first time I’m hearing of this I would like them to honor the time they scheduled me for and the lady on the phone agreed. She rudely answered the questions I had and hung up. The next day my brother drove over to drop off my dog and they told him they couldn’t do the operation today because the vet wasn’t coming in today. Excuse me? Even after that phone call I had the day before and the receptionist said it could still work even though they claimed to try and reschedule?! I called them and they kept claiming that they tried to call but I said no you did not and that I’m not a liar and I called the day before and they confirmed the surgery would still continue. There was no apology and she said that her office manager would call later that day to talk about what happened. I never received a call. The staff is lazy, rude, and lost a client that day. I picked up my dog’s file that day and am now going to One of a Kind to continue with my dog’s surgery. I feel bad because they do have one good vet but until they completely fire and restaff the entire place and keep the one good vet there, I will not be back.

I would give zero stars if I could, and I absolutely would NOT recommend this place for any pets. We took my dog here because we noticed she seemed to have a cough, and we were told by the vet that she had allergy issues & that it was no big deal. We were told to just give her a small dose of children’s benadryl when we noticed any issues. This seemed to work initially, so we thought nothing of it. Fast forward to 6 months later, and my dog is having issues that seem worse than just allergies. We take her in again and were assured that it was still just allergies and to increase the frequency of the allergy medication. Last weekend, her breathing was not good at all, so we took her to a different emergency vet that was open. They immediately did x-rays and were able to determine that it was never an allergy issue. Apparently, her esophagus had been slowly collapsing. We were shown x-rays to verify this. We were told that there is a procedure that could have been done long ago to correct this, but by this time, she was very weakened from the lack of oxygen to her body and she was unable to make it through the procedure. She sadly passed away, and all of this could have been prevented if this vet had just taken the time to x-ray and further check into the issue rather than continuously write it off as a minor allergy issue.

I dont know anything about the other reviews but when it was time to have my 20 year cat put down, they were (on the phone & in person) the most compassionate, kindest, least expensive and the quickest to get in. They did a thorough end-of-life exam, asked the right questions and took great care to send my cat on very gently & peaceably. Remember also that they were the ones who treated the handicapped girls service dog for free (that was hit purposely by a ***bag on a bike in Goodyear Park) when the story appeared in the news because the girl couldnt afford a vet bill. I hope donations came in later but this is an act of a business that cares about animals (and people) first. I wouldnt hesitate to have any routine vet work done there.

My parents have gone to sigler for over 30 years I believe. when I moved to the area I decided to take my new dog there as a puppy. I was happy with the treatment and visits that I did have while she was a puppy. After her last puppy shot I was told I wouldn’t need an update for a year. After that visit I had ordered sentinel online for flea and heart worm prevention. This prescription Requires a Dr. approval for it to be filled. They had no problem with authorizing the filling of the prescription and only change the weight of the prescription to accommodate what the dog would weigh six months later. Now fast forward six months and I go to refill the prescription online, but this time was told I had to call the veterinarian office to discuss why they would not approve the prescription. After calling into the office I was told that since they no longer sell that medicine at this location they would not authorize a prescription for me. So I wanted to make sure I understood the lady on the phone correctly i repeated, “ since your don’t sell it I can’t get authorization to continue using it “? She replied yes because we don’t sell it we will not authorize that prescription. I have used sentinel for the past eight years With this dog in my previous dog. Now I am being told I can no longer use it because they don’t sell it. Now I am being told I can no longer use it because they don’t sell it. My last vet didn’t sell it either but would always authorize it. At that point I told the lady on the phone or I guess maybe I should look into getting a different vet, with no response or apology she just hung the phone up on me. I am saddened by this because I wanted to take my dog to this location based off the experience of what my parents had. Unfortunately it seems as if they are not willing to help provide prescriptions to someone from medication that they have been using previously, just because they don’t sell it.

This was along time ago but seen their page and decided to post. If I could give a 0 I would. Horrible horrible place. I took my boxer in to have a lump removed. while they had her under I decided to have her fixed as well. Before leaving her told them to take care of her like she was their child because she was mine. Called the next morning they said they wanted to keep her a little longer she didnt wake up well and wanted to keep an eye on her. Called back that night same response. Went to the pet store to grab her some things to spoil her when she got home only to see one of the vets there and for her to tell me how sorry she was and how horrible it was what happened. I had no idea what she was talking about and asked. She seemed a little confused and scared that I didnt know, and because Im getting a little upset. She proceeds to tell me that it wasnt a problem of her having a hard time waking up it was because after the surgery they did not put a e collar on her and they stitched her to tight when they fixed her and she was left alone all night she chewed her stitches out and ate 1/2 her intestine. Needless to say I lost my mind called and was told she would be fine they just wanted to keep an eye on her. I went the next morning(they had closed before I could get up there) demanded to her, she was so drugged up she could hardly walk kept falling over. They stated they still wanted to keep her to make sure she didnt do to much damage to herself. They tried to send her home sat but said if she vomits I would need to bring her back. We happily took her home thinking she was fine, we fed her and as soon as she ate it came out both ends like running water. Scared us to death we called they wanted her back asap. This went on for a month. I kept asking if she was going to get better and asked not to be told what I wanted to hear but the truth. Never got that. I would visit her twice a day had to bring her special food because she couldnt hold anything in or down. Went for a visit and they brought her in and she was covered in her own poop, again I lost my mind. To end my review I took my healthy 70 lb child in for a procedure they do very often to having to put down my 30 lb baby. My family was devastated she was my sons bestfriend he couldnt remember a day of his life without her. They still tried to charge us for the surgery, her monthly stay because they neglected her, the drugs they used and tried, and for putting her down. Needless to say that did not happen. Never went back never will! They killed my baby, and didnt have a care nor ever said they were sorry that they did all they did was lie over and over again . All they had to do was put an e collar on her thats it.

Other than that I have no complaints with them.Others have mentioned the place is dirty, that has not been my experience. The breathing issue was written off as allergies and treatment recommended was children’s benydryl. When the issue seemed to get worse my family decided to take the dog to a different emergency vet. There xrays were done and revealed that the dogs esophagus had been slowly collapsing and could have been remedied by a procedure from the beginning. I never write reviews, but what I am writing needs to be said. I adopted a stray cat and brought him to Sigler for vaccinations, have his bloodwork done, and checked for any other issues. I was told he was in good health other than a tooth which was infected and needed removed. They told me that the tooth needed pulled as soon as possible so I scheduled an appointment for him early the next week. $400 later I picked up my cat and was told everything was good. A week later, I noticed he was breathing very heavily and very quickly. He also was not eating or drinking. I called Sigler and left a message to make an appointment. After hearing nothing back until 12 the next day I decided to call. I explained the situation and was told they were booked up and couldn’t see him and told me to take him to an ER. I took him to the animal ER in Green, where he was X-rayed. They informed me that he had congestive heart failure and was older than what I had been told my Sigler. I unfortunately had to put him down to end his pain. It was the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do. They informed me that his tooth surgery is what put him over the edge and caused the symptoms he was having. How Sigler missed this during not only his full checkup and pre surgery is impossible for me to understand. Do not go to this place with your pets and do not give them your money. They do not care.

My parents and I have brought our pets to Sigler’s Animal Hospital for 10+ years. We have had little to no issues with them in the past. I recently had an experience that was so traumatic that we will not be returning.I have thought about blasting the terrible series of events on the internet. I decided, in spite of how angry I am, I would share the event that stuck out the most. After a misdiagnosis, complications during/after surgery, and being kept in the dark regarding his recovery, I was told that my was dog dying. I went to the hospital to say goodbye to my best friend. I was laying on the ground hugging him and right before the vet put the medicine through the IV, the vet tech approached me and said, “Just so you know, you will owe $700 that we need to collect now.” I shockingly asked, “Can you just bill me? I was told my dog was dying and I should get here ASAP and I left my card at my house.” She proceeded to say, “You can call us when you get home with the credit card number.”I work in a children’s ICU and I have encountered many sad and devastating things. An action like this is never okay. For as “reasonably priced” as this place is, I will forever be paying for that insensitive action as my last memory with my dog.

NEVER EVEN GO HERE!!!!I just want to begin by saying if anyone had the same experience or even worse experience with SAH (Sigler animals hospital) please reach out because I want to hear all of your stories. @ SAH if more people have had the same thing happened to them and their pets that you almost did to me and my kitty I hope you get shut down.Sunday I woke up to my kitty (Minnie) face down in a pile of clothes, she was using the bathroom on herself and wasnt really walking right. Minnie is very small and we call her Itty Bitty Minnie for that reason. Shes the runt of her litter and was the size of a 4 week old kitten at 10 weeks. We took her to Metropolitan ( I highly recommend this place its 15 minutes from SAH but its worth it) the doctor told us she had low blood sugar, was dehydrated and her body temperature was low. They told us she was in bad shape but they will do everything they can for her. They kept her over night and the next morning Minnie had a catheter in her arm but she was stable, more reactive and eating a little. We couldnt afford to keep her there in ICU consecutively so they told us to have our vet keep her until they closed at 6 and bring her back for another over night stay. They gave instructions for me to give to Sigler and around 2pm I dropped her off. When I dropped Minnie off at SAH the vet told me that I was wasting my money on her because shes not going to make it and shes too sick. Then he said, if she makes it, itll be a miracle. Then he made me feel bad for Minnie having a catheter in her arm. After complaining about all the liquid and stuff she needed he said hell keep her until 6 and will give her sugar but dont have my hopes up because of her condition. He literally had to keep her warm and give her liquids for 4hrs but made it seem like the biggest deal!5:55 pm comes and they called me to pick her up. I was pulling in the lot as she called. So I went in signed the paper and they took me in the room to pay. After I paid,THEY BROUGHT MINNIE TO ME IN A OLD TOWEL WET, COLD AND BEARLY BREATHING!!!!!When they gave her to me they said, shes not really breathing so you might want to take her back to metropolitan as soon as possible because she probably wont make it.They said she pooped herself and they gave her a bath but they should of dried her off and got her warm after. The vet came in and he said he gave Minnie sugar and that she doesnt have much time left.I left there so fast and in a hurry. I got to Metropolitan and went in there crying. They took her back then the doctor asked me what happened I told her then she said her sugar was lower than when I had left. She also said that if he noticed she wasnt breathing right he should of called me so I would of been prepared for what I was about to walk into.I went home because they kept her over night. I was sleepless because I thought me and my best friend would of had to put Minnie down.Yesterday morning, me and my family went back to see if she got better or worse and she was doing 100x better. She was walking fine, eating a lot, her sugar was at a good number and she was warm and purring. Shes gained so much weight and shes slowly becoming herself each momentMy sister and her boyfriend are watching her while me and her other mom, my best friend work/ be at school@Metropolitin I am very thankful for you and your staff for helping us and being another family to Minnie. Thanks for giving us a new caring vet to take her to too!@SAH I hope you get investigated and never be careless with other peoples pets ever again. We decided to do everything we can for Minnie and you should of did that too. I get it she was a lost cause to you but she wasnt to us and now shes alive and better. I cannot believe you neglected her and really did not care about taking care of her. You were very unprofessional and we wont be coming back! Please dont take your sick pets here!!!

Of the 3 cats we have 2 were adopted from Sieglers animal hospital as far back as 6 years ago. Recently We adopted another female from them in feb 2108. Needed them boarded in October 2018 but they all needed rabies re fresher shots. As we could not accomidate their appointment times we took them to Immediate Care Vets for shots. That week we returned to siglers for boarding. The manager came out and admonished us. She said if you plan on having Immediate Care Vets do your pet care, dont bring them back to us for boarding This time I will allow you. Boss attitude toward long time customers of 10 years.DR SIEGLER HAS SOLD THIS HOSPITAL TO A LARGE CORP[ORATION WHO BUYS AND MAY SELL VET HOSPITALS FOR PROFIT. tHERE IS NO DR SIEGLER KIND CARE WITH THE NEW COPORATION AND THE WORKERS ARE NOT GIVING THE KIND OF CARE DR SIEGLER AND ELAINE GAVE. SOME OLDER CUSTOMERS HAVE LOST THEIR PETS TO DEATH WHILE IN THE NEW COMPANYS CARE. I wouldnt take a stuffed animal there.

Siglers storys he tells us about his pets. We can tell that the staff are very big animal lovers, they even know how to deal with my high strung husky with ease.

My little buddy had a infection on his back side took him in and they treated him with antibiotics . After a week or so he was not getting better so I took him back they decided to x-ray him and found a mass like cotton on his hip bone . They had me come back and look at it, it looked like cancer but he wanted to be sure. Put the x-ray on a vet forum a vet from Arizona looked at it and said it looks like valley fever only found in the southwest. Sure enough dr looked at his chart and saw I was in Arizona 2 years ago and hopefully we can stop it as it is a fungal infection and is in late stages. We got the meds after a phone call to a vet I had taken him to in Arizona for a runny noise so she the vet in Arizona worked with sigler to get a treatment started . Thank you so much to sigler for not giving up my buddy is only 4 years old and my granddaughters love him so much keep praying this treatment works time will tell

I was about to give up and have my baby girl put down because I couldnt find a vet to do a surgery that would save her due to it being a holiday weekend and a Saturday on top of it. I called sigler as a last ditch effort to keep my family whole. They told me that they would do it. And just like that my princess got a chance to live when all the other vets told me no Im sorry we cant do it. The right thing to do was put her down but not sigler he saved my baby and I will be forever thankful to them all. Me two year old cat will now live another day.

Ask how much before allowing them to do anything, they do not tell you, they just charge you then, they assume you know how much, then expect to you to have the total amount. I was lied to about the cost until after care was given it cost me double what I was told it would cost Im not happy with how they conduct business its shady

Stay away from this place! Its filthy, you wait forever, the doctors act so depressed with their only answer to a problem is Oh I dont know. For the vet to say that was a BIG red flag but they said this Mass on the back end of my dog was nothing to worry about just soak it 5 times a day for 15 minutes at a time for 3 weeks. First of all that wasnt easy to to day in and day out, second it wasnt at all what they thought it was. IT WAS PROSTATE CANCER!!!!!! If they could actually do their Jobs right then my dog would have still been around and without pain if it was caught early enough like it was. These people are forever black listed from me and anyone I know that needs a vet. They dont care about anything including the dogs or cats they see daily. Go anywhere else but here unless you feel like losing your dog that you love so much to something that could have been prevented if it was only diagnosed CORRECTLY!!

The doctor was not very honest when i took my dog in for blood in her stool he told me that the cost would be two hundred fifty to five fifty with blood work and diagnosis well he did no blood work when we told him we thought it was from a weird dog treat he wanted to treat her for parvo she seven years old never around puppys and on the bill for 6 hundred forty dollars he said we declined diagnostics we never did they had her for four days never gave her water or food we brought our own food when she finaly started to eat he came in and started giving her some shots & then she didnt eat he wouldnt let her leave before she had a bowel movement wouldnt give us time to feed her so she could have a bowel movement so he could keep her another day so as to increase the bill. I feel that I had been baited & switched, not very honest, more or less asked how much we could afford & took it to the highest dollar amount.

Like other review, dont waste your time or money on them! They obviously do not care about your animal or you. I took my dog in for a limp in her front leg, the doctor totally dismissed what I came in for and went straight for her hips due to her being a giant breed. After 2 visits he still would not listen to our concerns and still insited it was her hips, which she does have mild hip dysplasia but that WAS NOT the issue! Also while not listening to us he contiualy talked about his dogs and problems!?!? We went to another vet and found out she has cancer in her front right leg ( the leg we always had a problem with) in 1 visit. The office is very dirty! The people arent professionals at all. Its a family business that I think is still there just for the money not for the care of animals!

They practically begged me to adopt a dog bound for euthanasia. Visited with 2x and loved her. Showed up at appointed time for pick up. A cat 911 ground the operation to halt. Many people walked out. I offered them my address to deliver the dog since they wasted my time today. Nothing but excuses. Called back and refused to be put on hold. Hung up on. Very professional. No respect for other peoples time and obvious mgmt problems. A tech could have leashed the dog and gave her over in 5 minutes but apparently they prefer the needle.
