Hummel made me feel so comfortable, they made the process of arranging payment and ordering the urn for my 6week old son so simple.In the most breath takingly painful moments of my life I was greeted with empathy, love and a sense that my babys remains were safe in his last moments on this earthly plane. As I handed Kyle the blanket I wanted my precious baby wrapped in when he was cremated I felt a sense of honor, and respect that couldnt have been matched.I am ever grateful for the peace that the staff at Hummel, specifically Kyle, provided me.Thank you for being such a wonderful group of people, Thank you for making the most painful decisions of my life easy and for checking in on me long after I was of any financial benefit to your company.Hummel doesnt just care when your moneys walking through the door, they care about you, your heart and your feelings. If I could give Hummel 10 stars, I would. The compassion and understanding shown to my family with my aunt’s passing was so appreciated by all. From the first discussion many months ago in pre-planning to the calls since the funeral were so comforting. If I could give Hummel Funeral Homes 6 stars, I would. I lost both of my parents within 2 months of each other. My family did not have a lot of money to spend and I never felt pressured to spend more money then what we could afford. Kyle was so kind and caring. He made this difficult process so much easier on me. I was given the option to sign documents through email. Kyle walked me through every step of the process. I even received occasional texts from Hummel to check on me and my family afterwards. I cannot express enough gratitude.

Our family has been using Hummel since before I can remember. My dad just passed recently and due to cancer his face mainly his nose and eye was a complete open wound. I just had my mom at the Hummel Funeral Home at Market. The one that came and picked her up at the Nursing home after she passed, treated her with the utmost dignity and respect.. Everyone at the Hummel Funeral Home was very nice and gave me the utmost respect, December 18,2019...

They were very kind and caring when my husband passed away suddenly. Took care of everything for me. I would highly recommend them.

I had a terrible experience. You are only as strong as the team around you. My experience cannot be fixed or taken away. I read these other reviews and feel furious that my feelings and my circumstances were not as important. I had trouble picking up my Father’s remains because they close at 4pm during the week and I work an hour and 1/2 away. I was never told they could mail them, I even asked if my cousin could pick them up but she couldn’t make it until 4:30 so that was not okay. I then had to call on my lunch break each Friday to see if there was going to be someone there on Saturday. I asked about an online obituary, which I now see listings on their website, I was told to use Facebook, I’ve seen links shared on Facebook and that’s not the same thing. Every life is important and so is every life left behind. A business in this field will not go far with staff that behaves in this nature. If you’re looking I urge you to go elsewhere.

They did a great job for my mothers funeral.

Dean and his team were extremely helpful when my brother passed away. We chose an Urn and it was not in stock. Dean searched the warehouse and found just one. We were elated. They worked with us to include hand written poems my brother wrote onto his bookmarkers. His dog of 17 years also passed away a few weeks prior to his passing and they cremated her as well. Their Urns match. We also got a clipping of her hair and a paw print in clay. The services requested were a quick turn-a-round which helped as I live in another state. I highly recommend Hummel Funeral Home. They will care for you and your lost loved one.
