Where do I start…okay I applied with PrideStaff about 2 months ago and being that I just moved to Dallas maybe 6 months ago I was just applying to many different places, and none really stood out to me the way PrideStaff did. PrideStaff was a good company until the company they sent me to work for outright blatantly lied and stated I was harassing a supervisor for saying they messed over me with a final warning I should’ve came to the office with Covid. The supervisor cried wolf and stated I was harassing her. Definitely will be filing a law suit against them and her. Thank you for sending those emails. Proving there was no harassing at all.

Received an email to come in for their job fair. Due to the wrong address listed on their website I ended up at their old address — I’m assuming since it was never clarified. I was then given the correct address per Bree by email. Upon entering, no one was at the front desk to greet you but you could hear a recruiter, who spoke very loudly, trying to give someone else directions to their office — not a good start. Eventually, someone brought me paperwork to fill out then took me into a room to talk. I made it very clear as to what role I was interested in and what I was not interested. I was seeking a CAREER with stability not a $14/hr temp job. Keep in mind, staffing agencies are looking to fill reqs as soon as they come in they do not care what you want, period. If you won’t take what they have they will waste your time while your in their face then disappear. Moving forward, she presented two opportunities available neither what I wanted to pursue; however, they were good clients to get your foot in the door for a temporary assignment. One client in particular I was willing to give a shot; she said she would then send me the Excel test then submit me to both opportunities. She gave me her business card & recited the usual referral spill. It has now been 2-3 weeks later & I have never heard back from them. No feedback/update, NOTHING! My advice is if you just want a job & you don’t care how much or how long, then walk in but if you want a genuine career look elsewhere. Ultimately, I received an offer for the career I wanted with an amazing company & am glad to be ending my time with staffing companies, thank you PrideStaff.

Never had any results with Pridestaff. I applied through their website in October, 2018 and registered for a job fair they mentioned they were having at the Addison office. After arriving, there didnt seem to be any event going on but I was quickly attended to and given some forms to fill out. I was then sat down with a recruiter in one of the rooms and we discussed what I was looking for. I mentioned how I was open for any position to start and she said they would be getting back to me. That was it. That was the extent of the job fair they were having.After leaving, I have never received any contact from PrideStaff about any job opportunity whatsoever. I called a few times to ask for any updates or openings and they politely said they would let me know if anything came up, but nothing ever seemed to.Besides this, the staff were very friendly and welcoming at the Addison office. Even though they could never help get me a job, they at least were nice to deal with!

I have been looking for a permanent/temp to perm position since mid to late October 2019. I have worked with various other staffing firms/recruiting people. Unfortunately, I was unable to find anything. I found a posting on LinkedIn that said to message Marissa Salazar on top of applying directly. She responded to me within 2 to 3 hours of sending the email. She let me know what I applied for was already filled, but she would let me know if anything becomes available. I thought, well, I will never hear from her again. The next morning she had a colleague, Mary, contact me about a position. After speaking with Mary, Marissa called me and let me know about a different position. I must add as well, that for the brief time that I spoke with Mary, she is very professional and polite. Anyone working with Mary would be blessed as well. I expressed my interest in both positions, and we hung up the phone. Once again I didnt think I would hear back, it was either later that day or the very next morning Marissa told me the client she was working with wanted to have an interview with me that Friday. We were speaking either Wednesday or Thursday when she gave me the good news. I was shocked that she had such a fast turn around time. She gave me some advice on what to do for the interview. Needless to say I now have a job offer and am waiting to start with my new company as a Temp to perm employee. Marissa is a glowing example of what a great recruiter should be like and what they can be like. If everyone at PrideStaff could be like her/is like her, then all other recruiting/staffing agencies should watch out. This is one of the most unprofessional staffing agency. I worked 2 jobs with them and after being wrongfully terminated from my second one for simply telling a lead that they had been talked about by another temp that’s grounds for termination. Then pride staff says they can no longer offer me any more jobs but I do know of a few people who been terminated from a atleast a hand full of jobs so I will definitely be consulting my lawyer and talking to the Texas workforce especially about how they were late giving me my last 2 checks . This place has been awful absolutely awful and so unprofessional.

She followed up this phone call with a very detailed email on everything I needed to prepare for the interview, things I needed to know about the company and the position I was applying for and general interview preparation tips. I went to the interview feeling very confident and extremely prepared. I received a job offer less than an hour after leaving and am scheduled to start less than a week later.
