On the date of 8/19/20 I received a phone call from Peter McCauley, a director of MSP accounts at the Modis employment agency, an hour prior to my shift after only working two days informing me first that I still had to take an on boarding action by having a separate individual enter and confirm my sensitive information regarding some I9 documents, including my Social Security and my driver license information. This has been the catalyst by which the employer sought to terminate my employment, for the I9 documentation has been something that i repeatedly over the course of three weeks of the on boarding process, have provided and had it sent back to me for additional verification, essentially creating a never ending loop that left me uncertain of my employment status even after I actually started working on the assignment which the employment agency provided. I have even provided my I9 authorization, physically in person to the actual company and their representatives. Later on the line, after informing Peter once again that I have seen the inquiry for further verification and have contacted my authorized representative about the matter, he changed the tone of the conversation taking a somewhat combative stance and bringing up some allegations of me being rude to one of the hiring representatives within the company. I have never been directly rude or personal with any of the representatives with the company, I voiced my frustration and abandoned a friendly rapport, but was never otherwise insulting. I informed Peter of this, who admitted to having no evidence, nor anything to support his allegations and continued to berate me, when i told him Im starting to get upset, he threatened me by saying, I don`t know if I want you representing Modis at Iron Mountain. Not being able to take anymore without me losing my patience, I hung up the phone and started to get ready for my shift. 10 minutes later I was informed through a text message, that not only was my employment terminated with Modis, but that Modis also reached out to Iron Mountain (my assignment), informing the armed guards that I`m not allowed in the building, hurting my chances for future employment. Case and point, these people are a personified nightmare. Do yourself a favor and don`t go through this.

Adriana worked with me and found me a really awesome job. She was very friendly and helpful throughout the entire process. I would come back here again. Probably depends who you work with but I give 5 stars for Adrianas hard work.

I worked with Dustin from Modis, he was very upfront about the job offers and helped me when necessary even after I was hired on. Communication was excellent and consistent. I was always happy with the treatment I recieved and would definitely recommend Modis for others looking to use a staffing agency.

This company gives you false hope and they have now left me unemployed...At the time I was a contractor for another company but was in the process of looking for another job something more in my field. The job I was a contractor for offered me a full time position as an employee.. Great!!!!I got a call from my Modis recruiter saying there is a position open in my field by my house and they were able to match my pay... Even Better!!! From the onboarding of Modis I got the offer letter which stated I would start on the 6 of this month. All the paper work had been filled out everything was going well. I had already submitted my notice at the job I was an employee for. The transition would be nice. I called Modis Thursday to inquire when I should come in for the new job. I was told they were still doing my credentials I should here back by Friday with a update. Friday is here and I’m checking my emails still haven’t received an update. I got a call around 4ish in the evening from Modis only to have been told the position is no longer open. I was told they had just found out but in all reality I feel like they have known this entire time. I was told this has never happen before they kept apologizing but failed to realized I’m now unemployed because of Modis. I was told to see if I could get my job back from which I was an employee for BUT they don’t know it’s not that easy being told of such information later in the day. I’m now a single mother with no job because of Modis I had the hopes of getting back into the career I wanted to be in BUT Modis is horrible when it comes to communication. Sometimes some things are too good to me TRUE and for Modis they have red flags all over them. Worst company ever and I stand by this 100%.

Visited the Addison location of Modis and spoke with Chris Macalik a few months ago. He seem like a real genuine guy who cared about helping me find the right employer based off of my qualifications. I gave him my resume and emailed him a copy just like he asked for the night after meeting him. Thats where the communication stopped. He never called or emailed me back like he originally said. Even after I emailed him again a few weeks later, he has yet to respond to my email. I cant stand dishonest people. Very unprofessional. I eventually went to another staffing agency who help me land a job within a few days.
