DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. This company is unprofessional unorganized and has INCOMPETENT employees. I initially was scheduled through my whirlpool warranty for repair on the 3rd of Aug. I called to verify time of repair, and the receptionist complained about whirlpool scheduling appointments. Which I later find out that whirlpool can only schedule what West Texas Appliance’s system says is available. The receptionist then followed up with her system is down and to give her a call the next day at 10am to reschedule. Called as recommended no answer. I kept calling from 10am to 1pm and finally got an answer. Once answered I was “scheduled” for the 5th of Aug. Called at 10am on the 5th, receptionist said I was never scheduled. I was “scheduled” again for the 11th of Aug. Called again at 10 am on the 11th to verify my appointment was still valid. Receptionist answers and tells me they never received the work order from whirlpool. So I call whirlpool, and whirlpool confirms that the work order was received and accepted on the 3rd of Aug. I had whirlpool attempt to call no one answered. I called immediately after whirlpool I get an answer and that I can’t be scheduled until the 23rd of August. I have now taken 3 days off and been lied to by these people multiple times. Learn from my mistake stay away from West Texas Appliance.

This place is AWFUL, office personnel is the rudest person I have ever spoke to. I have been waiting for a repair man on a new washing machine that is not even 6 months old, for over a month. They are not reliable at all.

Terrible customer service, very unprofessional. Recieved work order, then denied getting it, then failed to inform that their schedule was full, and called me rude for being upset that they didnt send repairman on the scheduled day.

Consumer BEWARE!!! This company is THE ONLY service company that performs warranty work on new appliances purchased in Abilene. If there was a -5 stars I would give it to them. They never come when they say they will and when you call to ask why they no showed, they lie! The office staff are extremely RUDE! (Yes Leah I am talking about you) and when you tell them so they hang up on you. I have been without my refrigerator now for over 4 weeks.......but they are the only game in town for repairs on warranty work. I am calling GE tomorrow but I am sure it will do me no good!

I used this company last year for my dryer, I called this morning to see if they could come look at it, as the same problem is happening again. The lady who answered the phone already sounded annoyed when she answered my call, she placed me on a brief hold and came back with “we are so backed up we are not taking anymore service calls so we can catch up on parts” I said oh okay and before I could even get another question out I was hung up on. No thank you for your call, no further information or good bye, nothing. Extremely unprofessional way of handling business calls. I will just go buy a new microwave and replace the parts on my dryer myself.

My warranty asked for a second opinion from this company. I called to verify and they could not find me in the system, this was the fort encounter. Warranty called them and they Found me in the system because one of their employees put in wrong. Second call the day of and was told a technician would be out. Called when they did not show up and again could not find me in the system Again, problem was never fixed. Office staff acted like I was bothering her and of course I was so upset because they did not fix the issue on their part from the first phone call. Very unprofessional company and office staff.

Thanks for calling to let me know my 20 minute part was in, but that noone can come out to fix my fridge until a WEEK AND A HALF after Thanksgiving. But I am so thrilled that your staff get to enjoy their time off with their food and families. Businesses just dont care about compassion and empathy anymore. Such a selfish thing to do.

We waited for 3 weeks for someone to fix our washer they ordered our parts and came today to fix it. It is not fixed yet and now we hear a popping sound never have before. Repair man name is Jason I called them two minutes to 5pm and I left a message. I promise you I will not pay another service fee its not our fault that your repair man didnt fix it. He should have made sure it worked before he left

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. We have had a broken dishwasher for over 3 weeks. It took a week for the service man to come diagnose, about a week or more for parts to arrive and even longer than that to come install. Installation date finally comes — bumbling around & said he got the parts mixed up and had the wrong part. Fast forward 12 hours, I see a puddle on the floor & thought a drink may have been spilled. 12 hours later, I come home to a FLOOD. Incompetent enough to not screw something back on tightly AND dishwasher still not fixed. Utter joke.

Ive had to use West Texas Appliance twice now due to this being the only company that our warranties would cover. Trying to get an appointment is a nightmare -- they only offer service appointments a few times a week, if that. I had to wait over a week and a half both times to have a technician come look at my appliances. This is extremely inconvenient if, for example, your fridge isnt working.Every time I have tried to schedule an appointment they will give you a day and length of the appointment. They will NOT give you an appointment window but you are expected to be available when the technician comes to your house. This may not be an issue if your appointment length is less than an hour or if you have no job, but if your appointment is expected to last three hours I am not sure how they can reasonably expect a working person to make this work. I have to take time off my job to be available for three hours, but they wont even tell me if the technician will come in the morning or in the afternoon. Which means I have to take an ENTIRE day off of work in order to have a repair done.Additionally, they tell you they will order parts and call you as soon as they come in. However, in both cases I waited over a MONTH before calling and asking about the status of my parts. Conveniently both times they had JUST come in. So my suggestion to you is dont wait as long as I did, call within a reasonable amount of time (a week or two) and check the status. Otherwise I suspect they dont do anything until you inquire.I will say that the technician that has come to do our repairs has been excellent. If I could give him 5 stars alone, I would. Its trying to GET him to my house thats the issue.Unfortunately there arent many options in Abilene for repair companies. If you have to work with West Texas Appliance, be prepared to wait several weeks before having a technician come look at the appliance, take time off from your job, and be proactive about calling if they have to order parts.

West Texas Appliance is the worst appliance warranty repair company. The technicians are dishonest. They lie to the customers. When you contact the office the staff is rude and repeatedly hang up on you. They are getting paid by the warranty company and not following through with the needed repair. I DO NOT recommend using this company for any appliance repairs.

We were referred to West Texas appliance by LG Warranty department on 6/3/19. Our refrigerator stopped cooling. I personally feel that the initial point of contact (which usually is a receptionist) needs to have friendly customer service skills. The attitude over the phone can make or break a relationship. Their receptionist was very unfriendly, unhelpful, and condescending. Each time I called to speak with her, her appointment kept getting scheduled further and further out for no justifiable reason. The technician who came to our home was very kind but never had the supplies he needed to complete the job, therefore had to reschedule us time and time again. Eight weeks later they realized that the compressor plug have been plugged in backwards . I am very grateful this was covered under warranty, but I do not recommend this company!

This was a roll of the dice and it was worth it. From the outside doesnt look promising, but inside (forgot her name) including the techs, were awesome, friendly as can be. Did everything they could to help and gave me some info to properly trouble shoot. Didnt realize these tiny appliance parts were so expensive but worth it. Need a fix GO HERE! Im sure Ill be back in the future

Scamners! Dishonest! They came 4 times and still did not fix dishwasher! Office manager was no help. You can tell they have this situation alot because the reception and office manager had versed reactions to unsatisfied customers. Techs must not be very educated. Shame on Lowes for using them. Ill be calling whirlpool so they know how poor their warranty company is.

Worst Communication and Customer Service EVER! If the parts dont arrive when expected they dont call to reschedule your appointment. They actually said it takes too much time to call the customers to reschedule or inform them the parts didnt arrive. They just wait for the customer to call them after taking time off work to be available for them to fix the appliance. Then theyll reschedule you two weeks out in hopes the part comes in, but again, not call you if the parts dont arrive.

I CALLED ON JULY 11 TO SCHEDULE A SERVICE CALL AND THEY CAME OUT WITH IN A WEEK OR SO AND THE TECH TOLD ME THAT THE PART NEEDED TO BE ORDERED THAT IT SHOULD BE A BOUT A WEEK OR SO, OVER 2 WEEKS WENT BY AND I DIDNT RECEIVE NO CALL I HAD TO CALL AND FIND OUT WHAT WAS GOING ON, AND I WAS TOLD THAT THE PART WAS ON BACK ORDER TILL AUGUST 30 THAT I WILL RECEIVE A CALL WHEN IT CAME IN TO SCHEDULE A SERVICE CALL, I GOT A CALL ON THE 31ST TO SCHEDULE THE SERVICE CALL FOR SEPTEMBER 4TH, THE SERVICE GUY CALLED ME AT 11:48 SAID HE WAS ON HIS WAY TO MY HOUSE THAT HE WOULD BE THERE WITHIN 10 MINUTES, I LEFT MY JOB TO GO MEET HIM AND I ARRIVED AT 12:12 AND THE NOTE SAID HE HAD LEFT AT 12:10 I CALLED HIM AND CALLED HIM AND HE KEPT SENDING ME TO VOICE MAIL, I CALLED THE OFFICE AND THE LADY PUT ME ON HOLD FOR 7 MINUTES SAID THAT HER AND THE OWNER WERE TRYING TO GET A HOLD OF THE SERVICE GUY THAT THEY WOULD CALL ME BACK AS SOON AS THEY HEARD FROM HIM, SO I CALLED AT 2:00 TO SEE WHAT THE STATUS AND A LADY NAME SARAH SAID OH I WAS TOLD THAT IF YOU CALLED BACK TO TELL YOU THAT THEY COULD COME OUT ON SEPTEMBER THE 10TH, AND KEEP IN MIND THIS SERVICE STARTED SINCE JULY 11 AND HERE I AM STILL WITHOUT MY WASHER AND THEY ARE SHOWING NO CONCERN ABOUT IT, THERE IS NO REASON WHY I SHOULD BE CALLING IN TO CHECK THE STATUS, THEY SHOULD BE CALLING ME.
