I saw an application from ProLogistix on Indeed that looked promising so I went to the ProLogistix office the next day. I spoke with Zane who told me that the job is for Electrolux, the shift is 3pm-12:30am, lots of opportunity for overtime during the week and working most Saturdays. When I asked if I’d be able to get a MINIMUM of 50 hours he told me ‘yes, of course’. For the reasons listed in the previous two sentences I quit my old job to start at this new assignment. I’ve been at this new job for 2 weeks the employer is Ryder, the shift is 3:45pm-12:15am, there is ZERO opportunity for OT(except for Maybe 15-30min to finish what you are doing), working very few Saturdays(about 1 a month). That works out to a maximum of 42.5hours with the once a month chance to get 50hours. There are lots of other temp services out here that are far more realistic and honest to you about the hours that will be worked.
Update: still no communication lol.... This is a horrible company.Ive had over 4 interviews scheduled one being with Zane, the day of he texted me saying sorry we missed your interview tell me another time or date to call back which I did for later that evening. I never heard anything. Since then Ive scheduled 3 more interviews with about 7 call backs sent to the branch from the corporate number. At this point these agencies are being paid to work remotely from home doing nothin while the rest of us are in a pandemic wondering how our next paycheck will arrive. Thank you for the added stress.
All I can say is Zane is the man!!!!! He was very professional and responsive and helped me find work in matter of minutes give that man a raise.
Everytime I go to this location they are closed and it doesn’t match their business hours .. business hours are 8am-5pm and they are closed by 200-230pm .. how can anyone get employment that way !!
