I am a single male living on a budget that allows me to receive section 8. I follow all rules and plan for inspection when it comes. The staff are very nice to me and really give me the respect I dont get else where. And I want to make sure that I pay my portion of rent on time every time! Thats the key I think. To prepare to follow through with all bills and do what is asked of me. I know that if I continue to do well at my place of work and all my subsidized budgeting, one day I will be able to do it all by myself. And I think thats is really the goal anyway! So five stars is what I believe they deserve and will get from me.

Very tiny. Problems with mice. Complained, sprayed twice but still have them. Staff rude, grounds trashy.

I am a first time mom doing it alone. I applied for here. They told me I was rejected because of and $810.00 section 8 bill that was caused by my mom so the bill fell back on me. I got help and paid the $810.00. I reapplied and got rejected. Because I applied more than once in a years time. So why take $810.00 to reject someone. Biggest waste of time and money. Don’t move here or apply. You will regret it. I also was outside and one of the staff members harassed me the entire time. About drugs.

I wont even get started on most of the residents Ive encountered here, but the staff here is rude, refuses to return phone calls. I had a threat of retaliation against me because they entered my apartment without the required 24 hour notice, I sent a certified letter stating it was illegal and not to do it again. Joanne from the office called after they received it and stated fine, we just dont come anymore. Thats retaliation folks, also illegal for them to do. I had all of my maintenance requests ignored since. Oh, then shortly after that they tried to raise my rent by more than double, again without the required 30 day notice. I spoke to Cherrie the office manager and told her you cant do that, she said, oh I know it just gets attention. This place should be shut down. Maybe slightly better than a cardboard box or a car to live in. Grounds are dirty, they dont impose their own rules on residents that are a problem. Security will NOT return phone calls. Steer clear!! Id give it negative stars if I could.

ZMHA has affordable housing, the office staff is friendly and maintenance requests are done in a reasonable time. There are also fenced playgrounds for children. ZMHA also coordinates activities for seniors and residents to promote self-sufficancy. Pets are allowed after proper rules and guidelines are met. With thay being said, ZMHA can be a nice place to live.

I think zmha is a freaking joke!!!😈 My daughter Kylie Gray who lives in larzalere has been admitted to the hospital in Newark at that for 2 days or even longer now but since her rent is due today by 12 they are making her pay the late fees!! 😢😪She has lived there a year never late on rent no complaints nothing!!!😉😝 Also will have a paper stating she was here. I hate zmha i live in the manor also but as soon as i can get my daughter and grandbabies that live w me a place were all out.☺😊😃 I also have never been late on rent in 5yrs or caused any trouble.😜😛 I think its sad how they treat the ppl that do right so badly but let the drug dealers who live in zmha get away w everything.😢😥 Oh well ill pay it for her but just know you all suck!!!😡👿
