We’ve been taking our cars there for a few years now. They are all super nice and incredibly helpful. Always honest about what’s going on with the cars. Had some bad experiences elsewhere with places trying to take advantage and that’s not a worry at all with these guys. Highly recommend. We won’t take our cars anywhere else.

I’ve been here a few times for a few different issues and always have great service. Jesse is a great help and is always courteous and honest. Prices are reasonable, and it’s within walking distance of a cute little cafe for longer stays during services.

Staff is friendly and helpful, especially the guy at the front desk! Always get my oil changed here. They also throw in a few other things for free with your oil changes.

I ended up in Zanesville for work, but I live over an hour away. I had a brake issue on my way in. I called in the morning and spoke with Jess. He was able to get me in same day to look at my brakes. Not only that, he did not try to upsell me. He was honest about having a lot of life left on my brakes and not needing new unless I wanted them. Super easy to work with and great price! And had it done before my work day was over. Will definitely do business with again if ever I find myself on this side of town!

I have never had a bad experience here, if you dont understand a problem with your vehicle the manager will be more than happy to explain it in laymans terms. Would highly recommend them for any issues with your vehicle

Best place I have ever taken a vehicle to get worked on! Everyone was very nice and they we completely honest about what I needed to buy. Me not knowing much about cars could’ve very easily been taken advantage of by someone wanting to sell me something I don’t need. They were straight forward and showed me what was wrong and gave me an honest opinion so that I wouldn’t waste money that I didn’t need to spend yet. They also quoted me on future brake changes and oil changes and body work on my car and told me what would save me the most money without reducing the quality.I felt very respected here and will be going back for all of my work I need done.

Was in town moving my daughter and son in law into their new house there in Zanesville. We are from Illinios and I found that my rear brakes pads, rotors calipers needed replaced. Was on my way home for Christmas on leave from Pittsburgh to Dayton when my car broke down. I had it towed 36 miles for two reasons. 1 they were the only shop open on a Saturday and two they had the best reviews. I could not believe that they had me fixed and back on the road that day. They were also cheaper than expected. I asked if they needed to fix a few others things to which they said they don’t fix what’s not broken. I love that as most places lie and fix all kinds of things that are not needed. I was very lucky to have found them in my time of need. Thank you again so much!!

I took my van in to get a alignment and oil change they call 6 hours later my appointment was at 9am they said I needed struts priced me 500 dollars just for parts I took it to my mechanic and definitely didn’t need struts need less to say I will never be back

My car was overheating coming from NJ. They replaced the radiator within reasonable price. Very good and friendly service in the Zanesville location.

Needed a valve stem replaced and the tire put back on..... they ended up putting a spare tire on the rim and putting it on completely free of charge. Jess was absolutely amazing. We were in and out in less than a half hour.

Monro Auto Service stayed late and worked quickly to get me back on the road after I experienced emergency car trouble. Because of them I was able to continue my 7 hour trip home to see my family for Thanksgiving! Employees are very friendly and caring people and the price I paid was fair. Our car brake started acting out on 70 West and we had to pull into the nearest mechanic shop to get it checked. It was our greatest luck to land at Monro Auto Service at Zanesville. The shop was closing and the manager reluctantly agreed to take a look for a quick diagnosis. It turned out to be a major problem with the hydraulic system. He had a friend waiting at the shop to go out for weekend fun. However, seeing how we fanatically trying to figure out ways to get to Utah with a broken car and all auto shops closed for the weekend, he agreed to take another look to see what he could do. The “look” took him over three hours and now we are on our way with a car functions perfectly. Jess Jadwin is our hero and saved our day!

Not the best customer service, waiting area is dirty. Prices are high especially on their tires. I saved almost $100 by going to a nearby competitor (not Walmart either).

I think the quality of Monro service depends on the manager. The Zanesville location has a great one. He has never steered me wrong. While most chain car repair places try to sell you 40 things you dont need, this Monro store never has with me. I have always been pleased with their service and courtesy. They are fast, but efficient, and at a budget-friendly price.

Have been getting my oil changed here for a few years now and I’ve always felt the price was very reasonable but that’s about to change. Jess, the manager, is a really nice guy but always seems to be overworked and under staffed but the main reason I probably won’t be going back is because last time I was there the advertised price for an oil change was $19.99 but after they tacked on a bunch of fees for un named things ( and I got nothing more than a basic oil change) it ended up costing me $35.00. I’m not saying that $35 is to much for an oil change but if your advertising $19 and your almost doubling the cost when it’s all said and done then I I think that’s a little bit of false advertising.

I needed new brakes and called for an estimate. The gentleman gave me a realistic quote and info on warranty right then. They were able to get my car in despite being packed and I was done in under an hour. Great place! Care about their customers! Would highly recommend their service!

I am new in town. Needed an oil change. Went to one place who quoted a price so I waited just to find it was a bait and switch so I left. Took a chance and went to Monro. Having an oil change sale so was half the price of others. Then I talked to Jesse, the manager. When he said they have good techs because he is concerned for his customers, and knows most of them, and must make sure their cars are safe. When he said that, I knew then, I would come back for other services. Hes hardworking with a sense of humor. The tech that worked on my car was a nice guy too. Was also impressed with the list of everything they checked out on my car!

Called and schedule appointment the day before, when I got in there they didn’t have me on the schedule so I had to call somebody to come pick me up and leave my car there for four hours. After that my oil change that is always $20 went to $35 somehow, and I also asked them not to rotate my tires and they rotated all my tires. Overall just a bad experience.

I took my car in after replacing almost all the front end suspension pieces. I explained what I had done to the car and Jess said hed have his mechanic check it out and let me know. I left and within an hour I received a call saying it was way out of alignment and to get it aligned the mechanic would have to basically go above and beyond to get it done. They ended up having to drop the rack and pinion several times to get it aligned but in the end they got it done. They not only did a great job that required a lot of extra effort, they didnt even charge me anything extra. Monro on Maple Ave. is an excellent choice if you need some work done on your vehicle, especially an alignment.

We were from out of town and the technician helped us by checking and adjusting tire pressure on our “new” car at no cost. Very friendly and service minded.

We used to have our 2016 van oil changed done here on a regular basis until is started to leak oil. Found out from the dealer that they were putting the wrong size filter on. When we asked they knew nothing of it and claimed they were putting the right one on. Also they offer a tire rotation on every oil change and found out that they weren’t doing it because at some point they had broke the lug nut key for the locking lugs and never said anything so we had to have them professionally removed and replaced. I thought since they are a chain and not some hole in the wall that taking my newer vehicle would be a good option, I was wrong. If you are looking for a cheap price and don’t care if they cut corners to get the work done then they are the place to go. Otherwise I recommend taking it to Central Ohio Tire.

The people here care more about the customer then they do about money which is refreshing to see. They work with you when you need it. Going to be going back here from now on.

Really wonderful customer service! I had a tire emergency 20 miles west of Zanesville. Jesse was kind enough to stay past closing until I limped into town and changed my tire when several other stores in town would not. I was back on my way in less than 15 minutes. Jess is one of the hardest working people I know. You wont always be able to walk in and get a quick oil change(call ahead), but you can guarantee itll be done right the first time, and its a lot cheaper than Jiffy Lube.

Jess works hard and really cares about his customers. It seems the place is always understaffed, and hard to find good help in this trade. However, they still manage to turn around cars quickly and I feel they are priced fairly.

Staff is very friendly and helpful. They will match prices from competitors. I will be using them for my tires from now on.

On a road trip from Dayton to Pittsburgh, our car began vibrating. A quick Google search directed us to Monro, which was right off the highway. Even with a heavy workload, they got us back on the road in 45 minutes. The final diagnosis was an unbalanced tire, which they fixed for under $15.

Our car broke down on I-70 about 20 miles east of Zanesville just before 4:00PM on a Friday. By the time AAA arrived it was after 5:00. I asked the tow truck driver to take us to a repair shop that would still be open, and he took us to Monro shop in Zanesville. Jess and his team did their best to help us - they immediately began diagnosing the problem, and seeing that it had lost transmission fluid they added some and tried to find the source of the leak. Upon seeing that it was a bigger problem than they were equipped to handle they referred us to the local AAMCO shop. They didnt charge us a dime, although they certainly could have.We are very grateful for their honesty and the courteous treatment they gave us.
