Sharing my experience at the Palms. We were in contract to purchase a home. Several mistakes were made in the beginning of construction. The Palms forced us out of our contract and sold it for more money than what we were in contract for. It all makes sense now. If your looking to buy in AZ, be careful who you work with.

Great small place with custom casitas along with regular rv sites.

From first glance you found the nicest RV and Home resort in Yuma. Unfortunately the GM is extremely dishonest. Don’t buy in this park and If you must don’t use the GM as your builder. He will find another buyer at a higher price and break your contract. Other than him and his 40 years of dishonest business dealings, the park was ok.Ok place to spend a couple nights though.

Beautiful RV park. I was there for a classic car show so I only saw the grounds and cannot speak as to services available. Grounds, roads very well maintained, gardens are beautiful and lovely club house. My friends have purchased a lot there and are very pleased

Visited my parents who stay here every year. Beautiful resort and amenities! Very well manicured and maintained. They have so many fun days and activities. A great retirement RV resort!

We love it here!!We stayed last year and decided to come back for the month of March. Little did we know our stay would be extended until after the self quarantine.There were a lot of activities on the schedule unfortunately they had to cancel due to social distancing.They have a restaurant and bar for the guests and owners.A LITTLE PIECE OF PARADISE!!

Easy to get to. Super clean. Parking is mixed in with regular houses. Gated community. Close to everything.

Beautiful resort but again as another has mentioned if there is a home being built beside you its too bad for you. No privacy and noise. They do not care..We also thought of buying, too bad

Nice gated community with lots of perks. A good number of folks are entitled brats, but most people are friendly.

Beautiful park and lots of amenities but their goal is to sell you a lot. We had a Casita being built during the nicest months of our vacation on the lot beside us. The music from the boom box over the air compressor and nailers started at 7AM. Our concerns fell on deaf ears. The administration doesnt really care about the concerns of seasonal rvers and the owners told us to stop wining and put ear plugs in. We thought about buying a lot but quickly changed our mind. We had 4 couples ready to vacation there next season but decided against it. Very closed clique community.

Our first trip to Yuma was made better by our choice to stay at The Palms. The staff, amenities, grounds, well everything has been awesome. We have met the greatest people, and made some wonderful friends. We’re off to the Texas Gulf Coast, but carry the Best memories from our stay. 😀

Spending 4 months here-great so far. Yes, the WIFI was an issue, but just got our own through Spectrum-problem solved. Our dog loves the facilities, he thinks hes at Dog Disneyland.

The friendliest people, great fitness classes. Has lots of arts and crafts, an awesome Library with computers, and a phone. Theres a great selection of entertainment. There is a pool room, a putting green, and horse shoes. Many kinds of dance lessons. Most Saturdays boasts an awesome burger bash with great entertainment to dance to.🎉🎊🍺🍔🍷 there is a chapel right on the premises also ⛪️

Well laid out park. Lots are very wide & deep with large concrete pads. A lap pool, a social bobbing pool & 2 Jacuzzi type pools. Plenty of things to do & well run.

We have rented the same site for the winter season for 4 years and will return to that site next year. We are full time RVers and this is our winter place. The office staff has always been friendly and helpful. Maintenance staff are also friendly. This season (2019-2020) we did see weeds get a bit out of control. OTOH, the resorts response to COVID-19 has been as good as you can ask. For that reasons we extended our stay through late May to allow some time to evaluate the next step. We feel lucky that timing worked out that we were here instead of on the road. My only complaint/caution is that the layout of some of the sites with only a pad can be problematic. The power pedestals on some are too close to the pad. This is especially true for motorhomes with full wall slides. In our case we have to park with our front passenger side wheel on the pad which is a technical no no but we coordinated that fact with the resort and they have allowed it. We appreciate they worked with us on that issue. We also find the location of the resort is pretty darn good. Exiting the resort onto Ave 7E is fairly easy but there is enough local traffic to be aware of. What is GREAT is that there is a light signal on the corner of Ave 7E & 32nd St which is a big deal. 32nd street is a major E/W thorough-fair and the signal (IMO) is a big deal. Getting to all the major shopping places is pretty decent also. All in all, we think we made a good choice. Finally the cost. Not the cheapest but as nice as any place in Yuma.

Loved this place. An amazing RV park and resort with the emphasis on resort. The whole park is beautifully landscaped and maintained. There are two heated pools, a lap pool and splash pool, along side two hot tops, surrounded by plenty of beach and lounge chairs. There is a library, fitness center, card and billard rooms, etc. I could go on for paragraphs more but just know it is a wonderful place to spend a week or the entire winter.

Love this park. After three years here we decided to become an owner. Facilities are amazing and they have many classes to choose from. This park is very pet friendly, with two fenced in dog parks for them to run in. One park for small dogs, and one for large. The spirit of the park is very youthful and friendly. Lots of opportunity to socialize with concerts and dances, etc. A little piece of paradise.

Easily the best resort in Yuma, great facilities and entertainment. The only place I have ever seen where you can buy a lot to park your RV then build a custom stick built home when you want to settle down. We purchased a lot and after several great seasons did just that, delighted with the people and activities, a great way to spend cold winter months.I frankly dont understand the mentality of a person who gives this resort 1 star and has never stayed here!

Very friendly place

Probably the nicest campground in Yuma. Large sites, foliage galore and exceptional guest facilities. Sadly, RV sites are being eliminated as the sites are being developed with sticks/bricks homes. Enjoy the RV sites while you can!

Very good and efficient young lady in reservation office took us around and we settled on a site. Checking in Thurs and out Sunday.

Expensive, gated rv resort,

They think they are the beautiful people - cant drive around to see if you like the park or even walk the grounds without someone with you. If they are a first class resort why not dress the part? Buy a month get a month free, prices are crazy high. Unless you have money to burn, then you fit!

Nice large sites. Nice swimming pools but temp too cold to use. Everyone complains but they say it is 83 and that is were its going to stay. So no one goes in pool unless exercise class. Sad. Take you money, everything has a price. Had run in at small dog park with a villa owner who thought he owned it.... said he would kick my dog if it came near his, he chased several dog owner out of the park. Pathway around entire perimeter to walk. Workers were great, office staff and maintenance, security and grounds crew and cleaning crew! Place is clean! They keep lowering price of sites and there are several villas for sale.... that is their push, buy buy buy.

We hope they have a rental home for us next year! Beautiful place.

This Resort is definitely a five stars Resort. Great activities, superb entertainment and the people are very friendly and caring. A must see and enjoy.

Attended the burger bash. The atmosphere was great. Love music was wonderful. Food and drinks were good but the line for burgers was very unreasonably slow. Took about 50 minutes in line to get a burger.

A great high and resort with shuffleboard pools and a hot tub and almost everything else you can think of including a really nice dog washing area

The Palms RV Resort is truly a resort in every sense of the word. It is beautiful and the staff members are phenomenal.

Always a wonderful visit at The Palms. Great walks with our puppies around the Park. And the doggy wash was perfect.

This is by far the best RV resort that I have been. Large lava rock sites with a very large patio pad.Two beautiful pools with lots of activities.

Exceptional facilities, restaurant and bar on site, close to major shopping, Algodones with mild winter weather.

What a lovely place. We attended a car show, nice cars, lunch was offered, cocktails were served and live music. Very nice.

Stayed 6 winters. Now in Country Roads. Prefer atmosphere and activities at CR.

This was a good suprising resort where we found good and clean ameneties, friendly neighbors, etc. The only downside for not getting a 5 stars rating was the wifi, yes wifi is a must for all of us in 2017 and it was for the most part non- existent to every rv sites (beside the clubhouse, etc... ) and this should not be the case in 2017 for a campgroung of that level.

This is the younger crowd. Most of the Yuma parks have an average age of 74 years old. This park hosts younger people, around 58 years old. WIFI could use some help.
