They rush your nails, and when you speak up about them bc you don’t like them they come for you. They don’t make sure your nails are the same size.Very rude & unprofessional.

Worst experience ever rushed the whole thing my nails are uneven, bubbly and crooked . When I spoke up about it she ignored me & when it was time to pay I told Tina that They weren’t worth $35 and that I would pay $30 like honestly they were worth $20 but then she proceeded to call me crazy & that it was just one nail she then snatched my card out of my hand and charged me $30 after that she called me a b**** . Not professional at all definitely won’t be going back

Worst pedicure Ive ever had! Customer service was terrible and the quality just as bad. They didnt use sanitizer,the gel polish was all over skin around nails and the leg and foot massage was nonexistant. I will never go back!

This is what you get when you pay for gel polish removal and ask for a buff. I mean it was only $5 but now I have to go get it fixed elsewhere. Also I watched the grandmother use dirty tools.

I went for my first appointment today and I was surprised by the attentiveness of the woman who worked on me. I got a pedicure and it wasnt elaborate by any means but it was relaxing. For $18 I am definitely going back again!

Im genuinely very sorry to rate this low but I need to. The female technician is amazing, easy going, careful, and so on. I wish I could say the same for the male technision. He was the exact opposite. See, I got a full set of acrylics done by the female. She did a great job and they looked perfect ! Unfortunately the day I got one it broke. So I went back to get it fixed and the male technision was going to fix it. I got a awful nail, super thick, wrong shape, color wasnt on correctly, and I was in pain the entire time. This was because he filed my skin multiple times and was very rough. Im not your average white mom that complains about everything. He really messed it up. So yes go to this place ! But only use the female technician.

I was so happy that this salon was open on a Sunday! They got me right in, got a full gel manicure, she even fixed a cracked nail, and did a design and the total was ONLY $25!! Best price by far, no nickel and diming for every little step....only slight thing was I got a very quick and minimal “massage” while 3 of my gel nails were soaking off that was not by my manicurist... and I guess they considered that my massage... but other than that everything was great I will definitely be returning (and I’ll just make sure to specify I’d like the massage at the end)

My wife went here to get new nails put on expecting them to be done by professionals. Come to find out they were horribly done after one broke off and we found she has a green bacterial infection under it. She took the rest off and they all had the same thing underneath. I highly recommend that no one goes here if you like having healthy nails.

Horrible! They didnt paint my whole toe nail. It ended up looking so bad. Then the polish came off 3 days after getting them done. Not friendly either.

Tina does the best flowers around. I walked in and they took me immediately. Shortly after two girls walked in with appts. They took one right away but the other had to wait and she ended up walking out after 40 minutes. You just need to make sure you hit the shop at the right time and the shop needs to write down and follow their appt. schedule.

Excellent service! Best pedicure I ever had. I have tough thick ugly nails and usually the person doing my nails gives up (and so do I). Modern Nails accepted the challenge and passed with flying colors. I will be back and next time I won’t wait so long for my pedicure.

I went in to make a nail appointment and they did my nails right then. I am happy with the way they turned out and they still look great! If something isnt right then people need to let them know and have them fix it instead of just complaining! Just had a refill and new polish for Christmas, so pretty!

I went in and got the fell polish over my real nails. The lady who did my nails was very nice and the prices were very reasonable. She did a couple layers of the gel which was nice because my nails are weak so it made them less flexible so they didnt break. The o my complaint i have is that people started coming in so I felt like she kinda rushed at the end and there were a couple gaps where there was no paint. I will definitely go again though.

I know people who love this place, so I thought I would try it....worst acrylics, ever. They lifted after days, I had one break, the shape was uneven, I was cut like crazy, left with gobs of gel on my skin, and the nail art wasnt even close to the design I chose. The acrylic cracked and peeled and was pretty easy to remove, so I went back to my usual place. I wont ever recommend this place to anyone.

Daughter and I went in for full set.....tina is rude and husband cant see to make nails even. I pay my money and they do what they want and tell u thats it....very bad customer service skills...never recommend to anyone and never to return here ever!!! Cheap and now I understand why.....u get what you pay for!!!!

Terrible. Took an hour and forty five minutes to get a full set. Not to mention the fact that every nail is a different shape than the last when I asked for square. The nail they glued down before the powder was the wrong size so now my nails look too small for my fingers. And when I asked why it was taking so long, the employees literally laughed. Never going back. The salon inside of Walmart does a better job and the people dont laugh at you.

I went there to get a pedicure with my boyfriend, the man really didn’t care to give good service. He painted my toes and they are all botched up and bumpy. Really awkward sitting there as he barely rubbed my feet. I wouldn’t do it again for 18$ especially when he added 5$ to scrub them and he barely did that, they are still scratchy at the heels. I wouldn’t recommend spending the money here. On the other note my boyfriend got a good pedicure from the woman so that’s why I gave it two stars.

Tina is fabulous. She does amazing work. I finally got gel after Tina convenced me a while ago. I even get my toes geled. They last 6 weeks. Love their pedicures. Been to every place in Yucca Valley. The others are terrible. Will not go anywhere else, no matter how crowded they are. Definitely worth the wait.

Ok so I think the people were really nice... but everything else was pretty bad. The lady was doing a great job until someone else walked in and then she started rushing. It wasnt a busy day either. So my nails came out uneven and one part was really messed up but she didnt fix it. The top of my nails started to chip away within just a couple days. So I had to remove them. So thats $75 wasted... Nice people but Im never going back there.

The worst nail place I’ve ever been to in my life. I don’t recommend this place at all! The guy doing my nails kept slapping my hands and I didn’t know why, then he told me to relax and I was. Then he kept twisting my arms in a weird way and said keep them like that! I was tired of being slapped and twisted and washed my hands, paid and left. I didn’t let him paint my nails. Worst experience ever at a nail salon. And my I add, the place was so dirty!

Relax, and enjoy. My friend and I were treated to wonderful services. We are going every two weeks from now on! Best mani/pedi around . kind, well informed staff, clean facility, and fabulous service. Enjoy a relaxing service with your bff. Youll be glad you did. ☺

They did a full set on my daughter and they didnt clip off the dead skin, they are uneven, and painted them recklessly with spots missing. We were over it and just left.

I thought gel was supposed to last longer but no my gel nails peeled 2 days after i got them done at modern nails and my sisters nails (3) snapped 1 day after getting them done

Dont come here your gel polish will peel off after 2 days. HAHA.
