Great but long line

Today I tried to complete a change of address on the website. I got all the way to the end however when I did my last entry before giving my Visa card -the first time I gota loading message. This went on for several minutes. Then the page froze. I could not go forward nor backward to see if something was wrong. After several more minutes I closed the page. I tried again on the website to complete the Form for change of address. I was not able to finish the first page when loading message came on again, and the page froze again. Tried this two more times but no luck.Tried Yucaipa local number 3 times,no answer.Called the 800 number went through a string of questions resulting that they could not do change of address, and suggested I use the website. When I asked to speak to an agent was told thank you and to stay on the line for questions regarding service.In the meantime I received two emails from the post office telling me my request wasnt submitted, to submit it. It also said I cant reply to the email. What a joke. What a way to waste my time.

Update 6-25-20 The local Yucaipa post office is continuing to practice safe and healthy procedures to keep all customers and employees safe with signage,floor signs and info on the monitors! This postal service location, as like most of them or all of them, can care less about the mail being delivered to tax paying customers.There screening of new employees for hire shows there lack of responsiveness to the job.

I still haven’t receive a important mail you guys need to hire more people. I understand the hold covid. Tell your mailman to make sure they put them in the right mailboxes. Because I’m waiting something from the Edd. It been two weeks now I got wait to see if I get it on Tuesday or Wednesday. Please make sure they put the mail in the right box.

Tried the web site for mailhold. It says my name is insufficient So doesnt work! So sad, tried the voice systemIt could not complete the address. Failed system!

This office has some lazy carriers. They lie when they say a package cannot be delivered. My regular mail came today. But the small package that was supposed to be left at the door was not. The mail carrier was too lazy to get out of the truck and leave so they lied about the delivery and said that the driveway was blocked and they couldnt deliver the package. It was perfectly clear and I was home. I saw the carrier and waved and they drove off without leaving the package. Even though they saw me walking out to get it! and now with all the cutbacks you cant get any customer service to even complain.

3 packages said delivered, 2 were delivered to the wrong door. Third one is as of now nonexistent, not been delivered or may have been delivered to the wrong parcel locker. The mail lady needs to get better at their job, having multiple packages delivered to the wrong parcel.

This place is the worst. The front retail counter clerks are rude and unhelpful. Everyone here needs an attitude adjustment. I swear it’s like walking into DMV. It’s no wonder a poorly ran government agency has operated at a loss year after year for the last decade. Stay away at all costs. On the flip side, my mail lady that comes by my house is awesome.

Very SLOOOW, the staff isnt rude directly but act and speak like we are wasting THEIR time.Want to know about your package that has a status as delivered? Good luck... 6 or more people in line only 1 staff attending. Maybe this facility is under staffed?Most post offices are good. But the staff here needs more training, in my opinion.

By far the most awful Post Office in the country. I had a pkg that needed my signature. I waited all day. The tracking said they could not access my property? I called the next day and they could not find my item. Somehow the destroyed box with an odd note written on it showed up in my mail box a day later. The tracking said nothing. Today, weeks later I got a tracking update saying my item was being mailed back to sender. Ummm - what item is that since I received mine in a suspicious way. I went in to the Yucaipa branch. Asked for a manager. Showed them the mess and I was kicked out. Lovely, and they wonder why the Postal service is going out of business.Oh, and I did figure out what was going on. Its extremely disappointing. They should be ashamed.

Being coming here for years and they always do a great job, I came in today to get a passport for my son and the service was excellent.

Rude and unprofessional

Were constantly having other peoples mail sent to us and having to return it to them. Now just recently they lost one of our packages. Tracking confirms that it supposedly arrived. Stick to UPS or FedEx. I never have a problem with them.

They have a great friendly staff. The girls absolutely go out of their way to be helpful!! Thank you for being there!!

There have been multiple times that I have been waiting for an important letter/package only to have a note in my mailbox saying that they attempted delivery and no one was home. Happened again today, and like other times, there were people home and no USPS employee came to the door. All the carrier does is put the note in the mailbox without coming to the door, then I have to go to the Post Office on the next day that they are open. When I try to call the Post Office, the phone rings until someone picks it up and immediately hangs up the phone without speaking.

Im SOL. Carrier delivered to wrong address. Theres nothing I can do about it. Wont release address where package got delivered. Since I didnt have insurance, I cant be reimbursed. I purchased through eBay so I didnt have a choice. But I didnt know I needed insurance to protect against a carrier doing the ONE THING THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO DO - deliver to the address on the box.Go FedEx or UPS and put these guys out of business.... what a joke.

Of all the places I have lived in these United States, Yucaipa has consistently delivered the worst postal service I have ever experienced. The counter is always short staffed, especially during peak times. There have been way too many issues to list here, but I will say this: Every issue I have brought to the attention of every postmaster on duty at this post office has been flippantly dismissed without any attempt at a resolution. There have been three incidents (so far) that were so egregious that I have filed formal complaints.

My Mom has fallen and cant walk across the street so her Doctor wrote a letter to have post box moved to are side of thr street everyone on are sides box is on our side. Did not get ok and again she fell and broke the other hip, This time letter from MD to have it next to door, we moved it put it at the 5 foot high they wanted now instead of coming up to the post box they are putting mail in the bright orange Sun box says Sun on box in black and Orange. Come on can t they read. Each time we call they say they will talk to person that delivers so far this week has been in sun box twice and its only Thursday.

HORRIBLE.. The mail carriers constantly putting our mail into others boxes.. Some neighbors are good about re-delivering to us.. Some are not.. MULTIPLE packages have gone miss delivered! Over 6 months worth of horrible delivery!! You call the post office, and they always say someone will look into this problem and call back.. NEVER have I got a call back!!

Was expecting a package, received notification that it had been delivered it had not looked all around, no package found it next morning as I was leaving my place, it was sitting on top of a short pole by the street.

Tired of the bull and new temp. carriers with attitudes. I am listed as disabled and my mail need to be delivered on my porch, as I cant go to the street box. The new asian man carrier is extremely rude and has a personal problem with getting out of his truck and picking up and delivering the mail on my porch, so he will purposely skip my house, even if I am waiving at him that I have a pick up. Hell look straight at me, and drive away. I have a feeling its time to contact the ADA. Ive never had issues with anyone else except him. Three of our neighbors have officially placed complains about him, and he continues to get away with it. This is definitely a discrimination problem, and I have tried calling our local post office with no luck.

Our mail delivery service also constantly mixes up our mail with other neighbors on our block and sometimes the block below us for the last 13 years. Good thing our neighbors all get along and return our mail to us and vice versa.

They said they delivered our $250.00 package yesterday at 7:47 pm but we havent got mail in two days looked at camera footage no mailman.

The government sucks at everything, especially the postal service. A recurring problem is when I need to sign forsomething, instead of checking if Im home the courier just leaves the letter in the mailbox. Seriously the government is just wasting our tax dollars with this garbage.

I dont know why everyone is so angry with the post office. Yall need to take a chill pill. I sent off several packages in the last couple weeks to buyers from my poshmark and they all arrived undamaged and on time.

Put our change of address in but we are not receiving our mail!! What is wrong with the USPS these days. No one does their job any more or they are just plain lazy!!

Avoid this place if you can. Pay the extra for UPS if possible. My products were destroyed by USPS and the supervisor/manager was super rude insisted its not his problem and theres nothing he can do. Terrible business with terrible people working here.

Regular delivery of my items to the neighbor around the corner. Happy to live near honest people who return my mail and packages.

Tracking said package was out for delivery and mailman failed to deliver a package with the mail. Then later after the post office closed tracking said it was ready to be picked up locally. Went the next day for them to tell me they cant find it. Why do these people keep their jobs?

These idiots always deliver my packages to the wrong address every time I order something then when I call them have the nerve to tell me that I most have put the wrong address for delivery... What a joke
