I recently got a Eurovan from PopTop . It came out beautifully. I get admirers everywhere I go. They pulled this off during Covid so hats off to them.

We purchased a 2002 Eurovan for $60,000, included their Premium package. We have had nothing but problems with the van since it was delivered. Supposedly it was gone thru thoroughly, including transmission & ignition switch. After less than 1500 mi we have had to replace the ignition switch & have the transmission rebuilt. All this at a total of about $7,000, which the extended warranty only covered $4,000. We have attempted to discuss all of our problems with Mary but have gotten nowhere. I have owned the van for 16 mo. - it took 5 mo. to get it from Pop Top Heaven, I was able to use it for 4 mo., & its been in the shop for 7 mo. I have gotten no response from Pop Top Heaven. Numerous phone calls & emails sent to Mary. Supposedly the last email was forwarded to Chris, the owner. But I have heard nothing back. We dont believe the van was gone thru thoroughly, as promised in their sales pitch. We would never recommend this company to friend or foe. Maybe they should change their name to Pop Top Hell.

I bought a reconditioned 2001 Rialta from PTH, and am very happy with it. It took longer than originally stated, but I bought it at the height of Covid and dont hold them responsible for manufacturing and shipping delays. The vehicle looks brand new, inside and out. My mechanic checked it out and said I have a great engine in there. Good communication, very informative and responsive post-purchase support.

We were appreciative of the COVID-19 precautions PopTop Heaven has listed on their website, and made an appointment in advance as instructed on their website.We made the one hour drive to Yucaipa and arrived at the lot early. While waiting, we watched someone drive up and down the street, park, and walk right in without a mask - into the sales office.5 minutes before our appointment, we rang the bell outside the lot (as instructed by signage) and waited for someone to come and get us (also as instructed). Once greeted, we were told the salesperson Mary was still out to lunch, but would return shortly. We were asked to wait outside in the 103 degree heat.The mask-less, no appointment drive-by customer had left the sales by office by this time and we waited.And waited.After 20 minutes of waiting, we knocked on the sales office door and were told that they were texting the salesperson.We continued waiting. The receptionist never returned to give us additional updates. Right around 30 minutes after our scheduled appointment, and thirty minutes before the NEXT appointment with another customer, we knocked again and expressed our frustration.The receptionist provided the phone number for the the owner of Pop Top Heaven - Chris Nelson. He immediately seemed to excuse the salesperson’s absence and after a brief back-and-forth said he would return our call once he knew more.He returned the call and again seemed to still excuse the salesperson‘a absence. He said that the salesperson mixed-up our meeting time, and we reminded him that tMary was the one who had asked us to come in earlier, so she could keep her 3:00 appointment. We corresponded via email.The owner did apologize, but no effort was made to earn our business, although our interest was VERY high and we had intended to purchase a vehicle.The receptionist offered a weak apology. No efforts were made by anyone to us at anytime to take into consideration the half day or so we spent rearranging work schedules to make the trip to see the vehicle we had identified we were interested in.While I’m sure our experience is not the norm, the ambivalence and disdain for our business was enough.The salesperson Mary emailed a non-apology, apology:“Sorry I missed you. I honestly thought we were still at 2:30 PM, but we did reschedule for 2 PM once I read through our email chain. Weve had a lot of appointments shuffle around today, really sorry about the mixup.”No effort to ask us to reschedule. Nothing.Their vehicles look great but this establishment doesn’t seem to care about the customer’s time. They certainly don’t care if we return.

Because of lifestyle change, we decided to sell our 2002 Rialta FD. Because we bought from Pop-Top Heaven and because we have the highest confidence in their integrity, knowledge and service, we decided to contact them for advice. Our email to Mary was answered almost immediately and she told us she forwarded our email to Kyle who handled sales. Kyle called us in 30 minutes and asked us a few particulars about the rig. Since our Rialta was a graduate of their refurbishment program he was familiar with all the things we have done to the rig. He said he had someone interested in a Rialta FD Twin. He asked us what price we were looking for and we told him. This was Friday. He called us back on Saturday and said the person decided to go the Mercedes/Sprinter route but he said Chris, Mary and he discussed this and said they would buy our rig for the price we were asking. They immediately wired us the money which appeared in our bank account on Tuesday and a Trucker that day called us and arranged pick up. On Wednesday the driver appeared picked up our Rialta and we said goodbye, certainly with some sadness. We have had nothing but great experiences with Pop-Top Heaven. From the time we we bought the rig and it was shepherded by Mary through the restoration process and delivery, to Chris who has helped us get parts when we had exhausted our sources, to now Kyle who made the sale effortless. The excellence of this company exceeds all our known standards not only in the RV world (which we have owned 6) but to any company in any industry we have done business with. If I was allowed to recommend only one company in my life that we have done business with it would be Pop-Top Heaven!

Service Manager Jeff is a great asset to this special company. He is professional and considerate at the same time. He allowed technician Angel to go above and beyond to install our new generator even after closing time.We love Poptop Heaven.

Poptop Heaven really knows VW Eurovans and Rialtas! I have a wonderful, perfect condition 2002 Eurovan that they added a transmission cooler to, leveled the back with special discs, and repaired a sensor that was intermittent. They also installed upgraded LED lights. They are so knowledgeable and helpful! They charge very fairly and their follow up is great. As a retired CPA and lifelong VW van enthusiest, who used to work on my first one when I was younger, I can can highly recommend this great team!

If you just after a restored Rialta or Pop-top camper, this truly is heaven! I spent a delightful hour and a half with the sales hostess looking over quite a few different makes and models. The staff were wonderful and not pushy at all.

Unbelievable quality of service with and for an out of area customer. Best choice I made to use POP TOP Heaven in locating a camper to use around the world. Preparing my Rialta and follow up service both locally and through my warranty program better then any traditional RV sales lot.Great price, great quality I am constantly approached on where did you get this camper. We Love Pop Top Heaven (& Rialta Heaven)Bought our Rialta here. The experience was fantastic. Very friendly, helpful & extremely patient. Showing us all the features of each model, pros & cons etc.We bring our Rialta back for regular maintenance when we can. They are much more cost friendly than the dealers or VW repair facilities. Oil changes run about half what the do at lube shops. We cant say enough good stuff about Pop Top Heaven. Wish there were more of them across the country!

We have visited this location twice, and we own a Rialta as well as several VW campers.Blown away by the rudeness of the staff.. as well as the state of many of their Rialta campers (very dirty, missing features, damaged). But don’t worry, they still charge triple the price.We have also met 6 different families at gatherings that have purchased a Rialta or Eurovan from them, all of whom were extremely disappointed. They don’t honor their warranties, overcharge, and mislead customers about the condition of the vehicle they are purchasing. One couple didn’t even make it home from the shop (due to the engine), another couple was provided with shower curtains that weren’t compatible to the bathroom as well as a windshield curtain that didn’t fit. Yet another family has been completely neglected in terms of their warranty.I am sure this review will receive an unapologetic/snarky response from the company because that’s how they roll, but I feel we should warn prospective Rialta or Eurovan buyers.
