Our insurance recommended we go with this company. We had a wood framed awning we were trying to get replaced from the storm in January. What CRBR sent us over email was a premade aluminum kit from Lowe’s that they were charging over $2000 in labor for. Looked like something from IKEA. Huge downgrade from what we had! We had asked three different times if they could install a fan and never got an answer. Glad we went with someone else because our new company worked with us what we actually wanted (had), and are adding in our fan and outlets. Take your money elsewhere! Sorry not sorry CRBR. If anyone is wondering we went with Five Star Home Improvement and they are great!

This review is in regards to the work I had done from my local CRBR in Yuba city California.Around December 2020, my family and I had discovered water damage in our hall closet, stemming from our back bathroom shower, which apparently had been leaking into the wall.We contacted our home owners insurance company to file a claim, and decided to use our local CRBR to do the renovations. From day one. It was a nightmare. The communication between their contractors and the actual CRBR was horrific. We were placed in a local hotel, because our home was deemed unlivable due to the work that had to be done.CRBR told us the renovation would take about two weeks. The renovation was a small bathroom, hall closet, hall flooring and bedroom flooring.TWO months, our family lived in a hotel. TWO months. While CRBR sent contractors one, maybe two days a week to do work on our home for a couple hours. One of their excuses, was we took too long to send tile and paint info, which was a total lie. We picked out all the details, and sent the info to the contractor, never hearing back from him.... no response! Total crickets! But apparently that was our fault.( he finally responded a week later! We have the conversation history to prove it )Additionally, ALL the contractors continued to use the toilet in my other bathroom, knowing the water had been shut off during the water damage clean up phase of the renovation, I came to check on the work in my home, and I came home to flies everywhere! And a bathroom that smelled like the urine of 15 different contractors! Only to find my toilet full of urine... and covered in urine drops all over my toilet seat ( underneath! On the lid! EVERYWHERE! I have pictures of prove it )How disgusting and disrespectful!!Next, when we did the initial walkthrough with the CRBR estimate adjuster, we were told our bathroom vanity and toilet would all be replaced under the insurance money. We were told the walls would be painted, light fixtures removed etc.Come to find out, vanity and toilet had to be replaced out of pocket, they DID NOT remove light fixture, or even paint properly, they left the ceiling unpainted, and see through patches on all the walls, not to mention, the drywall work was done horribly, we are now left with ripples and horrible dry wall around our entire shower etc.The work was shoddy! And we were left with an awful bathroom renovation! Along with unfinished work, they didn’t even replace the shelves in the hall closet they were suppose to replace. All for an apparent cost of $10,000!Again! It took them TWO months!!!!!We had filed a complaint with the local branch manager, he came over... acknowledged the unfinished, horrible work! And offered to take $400 off the Bill.He said he would send out new invoice. Which never arrived. We called our local branch requesting new invoice so we could get the Bill paid, the lady said she would send out the invoice within a couple days.Next thing we know, we get a paper in the mail, before we even got the invoice, saying CRBR has put a lien on our home because the payment hasn’t been paid!Which is wrong!!! Because we never even received the new adjusted invoice, or signed off on the completed job!UPDATE***We spoke with the manager, Nothing was “settled” as the owner claims, we were bullied into paying for an awful bathroom remodel to get the Lien they placed on our home taken off…But we have been speaking with an attorney! This will all get settled properly… nobody else should have to deal with what we had to deal with from this unprofessional and sloppy company.

Still waiting for CRBR to build the house. Just a lot of excuses. It has been 8 1/2 months of excuses. The insurance company picked them. I wish that the insurance company would see that there has to be a better contractor. Not even a Christmas card or even a check in to see how we are. Poor customer service.

Chris Glass and the CRBR crew came to the rescue almost immediately. They were professional and respective of our property, understood our anxiety and did a great job removing the bottom 3.5 feet of drywall, doors, lower cabs, insulation, etc etc, stipping the lower portion of our home down to the bare studs then drying it out. This allowed us to enter the repair and remodel stage.Thank You for the great job. It is much appreciated.

CRBR did a great job repairing my roof and painting the interior wall. My only complaint was how long it took from the initial call to have techs at my house to repair. That kinda irritated me but that was the only thing I could complain about. The color match of the paint was identical to the naked eye so it transitioned seamlessly into the rest. The roof repair was done efficiently and the technicians were very friendly. I would definitely recommend this company for any job that you need done.

I was extremely disappointed with the service received. A car drove into my home in May 2019 and here we were 9 months later (Feb 2020) and the repairs were not completed. I received excuse after excuse as to what was delaying the project. The main excuse given was that they were waiting on plans and permits and that the engineer was causing the delay, well that was their engineer. Not only was the work taking forever, but getting a text or call back from them was almost impossible. I tried not to pester them too much but my child and I did not feel safe with just a plywood front wall to our home; my electricity bill was through the room; and the house was freezing (during the winter months) and roasting (during the summer months) since I had the privilege of experiencing both seasons with my home in disrepair. At one point I was even told me that my home was not a priority for them. They were referred to me by my insurance company and I was very disappointed. I let them go in February, and now hope to find a contractor that will actually help me get my house fixed. Horrible service. Would not recommend.

When you have a home emergency, in our case a pipe leak, you are in good hands with this company. Not only were they extremely prompt in getting to us to clean up the damage, they are a one stop shop for repairs. Our leak happened during the Covid outbreak and they were very prompt at getting the damaged sheet rock, insulation, and flooring out of the house. Then when it came time to repair the damage they worked with us and our insurance company and got the ball rolling fast. They have great communication and were very patient when I asked what seemed like a thousand questions. I would highly recommend them. I hope we never have to go through this again but if we do I would choose them again.

They did a great job,the damage that was done to my house where my husband back his pick-up into the front looks like nothing had damaged it because of the wonderful work that was done. The stucco was done great, and the paint was matched up perfect, I would use them again if I needed any work done on my house. Thank You

If I could leave no star rating I would. I would not recommend this company to anyone. This was a complete nightmare for us. What should of taken maybe a month ended up taking 6 months. We could not use that room which was originally our computer room the entire time. We received every excuse in the book on the delays from the my computer crashed and you will have to resend the signed work order back to us, to the window was supposed to come in and wasnt on the truck, to the next excuse they measured the wrong size and had to remake it. Then the final excuse the rushed window came in broken. My wife even asked for a discount due to how long everything took to complete. She was completely ignored by it with no response from the manager. I was to the point if I got one more excuse I was going to switch companies as this company was recommended by our Insurance. My insurance also received a large complaint from me about this company and I encouraged them to also severe ties with them as this is also a reflection on them, as they are the ones that recommended them.

My insurance hired this company after we suffered a fire. They were supposed to give us EMERGENCY power as the meter box was on the structure that burned. They used an electrician contractor who showed up maybe around a week or two after and in the meantime we had to stay in a hotel. We live on small acreage with horses, chickens, dogs, cats, all who need care. There is no water without power for the well.To make a long a home story short it took them over a month to get us power. This electrician showed up maybe once or twice a week then didnt hook up the well and had to be told as such. Then dug a ditch to run power, then left both ends open and had to be made to come back and fill them in. There were other experiences that were equally unprofessional and inept. All in all it was one of the worst experiences I have ever had.

Service with excellence!!After the first structure fire we had at the apartments, Brett and his team of the Yuba City branch came through and made things like new. Professional and timely service was key for his service provided. Choosing great contractors and made sure everything went well. Now, going through a second run with his excellent crew, I know this last fire we had will be a thing of the past, and we will see more wonderful work being done and it will be like nothing ever happened, just upgraded. And I say that with confidence!~~I highly recommend this company for your restoration, and other repair needs. You wont be disappointed, promise.

What a pleasant company to work with in unpleasant circumstances. From my first phone call at 9pm on a Sunday night to the final walk through.....100% professionalism every time. Every person shook my hand, looked me in the eye and explained the work that they were going to complete that day. The project manager stayed in touch with me every step of the way. My phone calls into the office about insurance paper work were always returned, my questions answered and explained in detail! This is an excellent company to work with!

My neighbors tree fell through my roof during the heaviest storm of the season. There was heavy water damage inside the house. Clean rite is a USAA contract and offered to come that day to place a temporary patch. Their representative/project manager was efficient, clear, and timely. Work was completed on time and shows good craftsmanship. I am very satisfied with their work and service.

CRBR was extremely frustrating to work with and did NOT meet our expectations for a paid, professional company hired to complete our home repair. Not only did the entire project take over 7 months but we had to frequently request updates and follow up on the status. Even when the job was complete we found multiple unfinished items and poor execution of the overall job (missing trim boards, uneven countertops, exposed plywood, spackling from drywall stained into carpet) for which CRBR had to return to the job site and fix. Our property manager, who has used CRBR for projects at other rental properties in the past, was also extremely unimpressed and had to reach out to the project supervisor on more than one occasion to get updates and keep the project moving along. Overall, we were very unsatisfied with the service we received from CRBR and will not be using them again for any of our home repairs.

The initial call out for a temporary tarp on my roof was Good. I mentioned to CRBR when they arrived I was impressed with response time. This was being paid for by my home insurance. I already have tarped my roof with a large tarp but it was leaking the night before so I had repositiond my tarp to cover more area. CRBR came and added a 6x6 square plastic with a few 1/2x1 poles and about 10 “very light” sandbags. I noticed they took a picture of their work before /after. They were completed in about 30min. The next day it rained and wind blew all of CRBR little plastic off the roof. (My tarp remained but still blown around).I called CRBR and told them it blew off and they would send a crew back to fix this later that day... I wouldn’t need to be home. rain was clear but expected anoth big storm that night. I went to work hoping that they would fix the problem...Well, they never showed up. I waited and called home and they never showed up or called. I had to leave work early and drive 1 hr home so that I can fix the roof tarps on my own, in the dark, dangerous with wind and rain starting to fall.. I finished fixing the tarps, and was upset that CRBR never showed up as promised.Later on about 2 1/2 weeks went by and I got the copy of CRBR estimate after my insurance paid them. I couldn’t believe it. I believe there were more materials listed than what they used, it was outrageously expensive, and to top it off the pictures that they used to Show their work was the “Before” picture of MY tarping job! Not any pictures of their terrible tarp job. BEWARE!!!

Last week the supply line to our dishwasher broke, causing water damage to the entire kitchen. I was mortified. With a baby on the way the last thing I need is unnecessary stress. Luckily for me, the insurance company and the crew at cleanrite were able to make it as easy as possible. Everything was scheduled and taken care of for me, I didn’t need to pay anyone, I didn’t need to be there, it was a perfect process. So I just wanted to say thank you all for your hardwork and our amazing new floors.
