I love this school! the great Master is amazing, she not only teaches martial arts to children she also teaches them moral focus ​​as important as respect and discipline.

Best place for kids and adults to train and improve new skills, I found this place after a google search, and signed my son up on the first visit . My son used to talk about video games a lot, I wanted him to stir away from it and evolve, focus his mind and attention on something good, this place teaches Discipline, Taekwondo at the same time keeping it fun. My son now comes home now talk about improvements and train in his room. His school teachers noticed a change in overall behaviors, I regret not finding NATA sooner. Great atmosphere, family friendly, knowledgeable and affordable. Plan a first visit and see for yourself.

I have been with this Taekwondo Academy since I was a little girl and now my brother is training here as well. We love the environment and the people that we are surrounded by. We have been able to train under Grandmaster and great staff that truly care about the success of each student. I definitely would recommend if you are trying to explore in fitness and martial arts.

My son started taking classes because my father bought a 6 week certificate for a Christmas gift. He has taken a huge interest in Taekwondo since. He has grown so much in the past 11 months! His school work has improved tremendously. His self confidence has improved 100%. Grandmaster Johnson is such a wonderful teacher! Along with the instructors she has on staff. The staff is so wonderful, helpful and so in tune with teaching the sport. I would definitely recommend at least coming and sitting in for a class!

Great place. Im 68 yrs old with rheumatoid arthritis. I. Grand master led me in the right direction by recommending hapkiedo. It is a much better martial arts for someone my age and with my limitations. Truly grateful that I landed in the right place.

Great place! My son loves it here. He is learning taekwando but is doing so much more: learning discipline, improving focus, building his strength and coordination, increasing his self-esteem, exercising and having FUN! There a lot of classes during the week and its very flexible when you can go--you can drop into as many classes in a week as you want. Grand Master is great, as are all of the instructors: they are professional, engaged and likable. Its an awesome organization and Id recommend it to anyone!

My son has been going to NATA for over 3 years now and has gained so much self confidence and discipline. He loves going and challenging himself and we absolutely love Grandmaster! You can tell the instructors really care for these kids and want to help them grow. Highly recommend!!

There are 4 Kid sessions a week (M,W,T,S), which makes it a great value, especially since all 3 of my children are enrolled. They have been training for over a year now at North American Taekwondo and Hoijeon Moosool Academy. It has been wonderful to watch them grow as they learn new forms and techniques, master them, and test for their next level of belt. Grandmaster Johnson and her team are wonderful, patient, and skilled instructors. I highly recommend NATA to anyone, any age, that wants to learn Taekwondo in a friendly, fun, and professional environment.

My wife and I have signed our daughter up for classes at a couple of other locations in the Ann Arbor/Canton region but nothing compares to North American Taekwondo and Hoijeon Moosool Academy. For us, its the ideal balance between discipline, fun, and interpersonal relationships among other families. Weve only been with NATA for a short period of time but we can already tell that the instructors truly care about their students overall well being both from an academic and physical standpoints.

Grand Master Johnson is very friendly and respectful, my son loves her. When inquiring about signing my son up for more classes she told me This is my business, but I dont want it to be about business. Master Sim is really great with kids and plays fun music to get them pumped up. Students are expected and taught to be respectful and follow the rules. My son has a short attention span, but I feel that it has improved since he starting attending NATA. His teacher recently told me that he is listening better in class! Kids get a lot of attention as they are broken up into small groups (according to skill levels) with their own instructor. Great place!

Ive been training at this facility for only about two months now, but the results have already been made clear. Not only will you learn the techniques and spirit of taekwondo, they also teach discipline, focus, and the staff are willing to talk and work with you if there is anything one might have questions about.One way I can wholeheartedly state is that I came for the training, but I plan to stay for the people. The camaraderie between the instructors and other students alike is nothing like Ive had the pleasure of experiencing before. If youre looking for a place to learn a martial art and have fun doing it, I couldnt recommend this place more.

NATA is as good as it gets for traditional Korean martial arts training for many ages. I attend adult classes and train under the Hoijeon Moosool martial arts system for nearly two years. Master instructors are very knowledgeable and are always in your corner providing effective training. The Academy keeps me coming back and is great to sharpen body and mind for all ages.

Local treasure. Staff is great and focused on delivering.This is not a place to send your child to play.Its a place you send your child to grow.Best gift I ever gave to my son.

My son received excellent training here from the age of 7 to age 11. The level of respect and responsibility demonstrated by the students is a reflection of Grand Masters high expectations and system of training. Master Anders style was exactly what my son needed. After moving out of state, finding a comparable school has proved to be very difficult even though there are many in the new area.

Been training at this Taekwondo Club for 6 years now, every day is a blast, with serious workouts, proper instruction, and an overall great environment as well as an easy to follow schedule for the week! I would highly recommend joining if you are looking to get into martial arts!

We have been a member here for about 8 months. We love the instruction for the kids and the specialized attention our daughter receives with some special needs, not only in class but the Grandmaster is genuinely interested and participates in the growth and respect aspect the kids need to advance up through the taekwondo belts. Each belt test is followed by a short interview with the parents checking on the students behavior both at home and in school. I highly recommend the classes for kids!

My grandson has ADHD & Asthma since he has started he has improved alot. He really enjoys class and even enjoyed tournaments and he dont like doing things in front of people. He cant wait to do more!

I have been training here in hapkido for two years. This is an excellent place to train. The instructors are knowledable, experienced, and friendly. This provides a positive learning environment which is engaging and informative. I love training here and could not recommend it more highly!

Love Love this place. Great technique, wonderful instructors, usually 3 or more per class. One price, unlimited classes, can’t beat the price for the amount of instruction. Grandmaster Johnson is a true grandmaster!

I couldnt recommend this place more, the staff work and train so hard with each class, its nonetheless inspiring and a great atmosphere for growth. If you are wanting to learn, grow and get a great mental/physical exercise; This would be the place to go!

Great place to train. The belts are earned over sweat and tears, but it is well worth it. There is much history packed into the dojang, and the master instructor values the tenants of tae kwon do.
