Applied for assistance for security deposit in July of 2019. Never received a copy of my application, my approval, or the check that was cut. The check was not cut until September after I had to figure something else out for downpayment assistance. Then after several requests for copy of paperwork, I receive a call (after no contract for 3 months) stating Im being sent to collections for non-payment. Ive never even received anything with a payment address on it, and our county has been shut down for COVID. Rude, and condescending employee was harassing me until I hung up on her. So much for Help network. Complete BS. The single most shady company I have ever dealt with in my life, and Im in real estate as a profession. Should this end up on my credit as a collection, I will be pursuing legal action against them. They need shut down or at least fined for being so unethical and downright nasty to work with.
