We just purchased a beautiful, slightly used (15K miles) Ford F-150 from Nick. It was the best car-buying experience we have ever had. The process began with me sending a quick message to the dealership about the truck. I got a fast response from Mark, who helped answer many of our questions before leaving on vacation the next day. He gave all of my information to Nick who jumped right on board, knew what was going on and helped us through the end of the process. We went in with our own financing from Capital one, they did not try to get us financed through the dealership or Ford. Once we had the final approval through our lender, Nick collected the last of the information he needed from us (trade paperwork, insurance info, etc) and made sure Julie in finance had all of her questions answered, so that when we came in to pick up the truck, all we had to do was take 10 minutes to sign documents that were already printed and ready to go. It was fast and easy and stress-free.

Horrible service. They said they would be done on a Friday. I had rented a car while they worked on it and they knew this. Friday they said they would have it done on Monday. Come Monday, its now not going to be done until Tuesday, so well see. All of these delays cost me an additional $300 in rental fees! I had an issue several years ago with their service department, and thought Id give them another shot. Never again will I get work done here, let alone anything else, as I am seeing their care for the customer is still as crummy as it used to be. There are far to many dealerships around for one not to care for their customer like this!

Very polite and friendly salesman- John and Angel for closing the deal on my beautiful 2017 Lincoln MKC.It has been such an honor to own a Lincoln which I hadnt been entertaining even owning a Lincoln. I have been in the market for a newer vehicle for over a year and was considering a Mazda. Just happen to see an ad for a Lincoln MKX-which lead me to the smaller version MKC in Ruby Red !Very pleased with my car and still learning all of its many features. I didn’t feel welcomed when I visited the service department. Check engine light keeps coming on after a warranted computer update. Tried to stop in for a quick diagnosis instead of going to an advanced auto parts. I felt like I was inconveniencing the service guy and he wanted to schedule a week out for something that would take less than 5 minutes.

I dropped my truck off two weeks ago. Was told it would take that long to fix whatever is wrong with my transmission. Not only is it not fixed I still havent been told whats wrong with it. Now Im being told it will take another ten days to figure out the problem. The length of time its taking is frustrating to say the least, but my real issue is the lack of transparency about my vehicle. The only reason Im given three stars is because the gentleman I usually speak with is always polite when I call, and I have had work done before and its always been done right, but this last experience has been tiresome.

I trusted the delearship with my car but it seems i am getting disappointed every time.I am a student, I’m struggling i don’t know where to get money they are keeping asking for. I took my car it had noise coming when I’m trying to brake. They told me they found the problem and i needed to pay some amount to correct it( which i paid in full) but on testing the car the noise was still there.I even asked to confirm because this money is too much, are you sure everything will be rectified? They said yes. I took it back to complain and still they are asking me for more money which i honestly do not understand what it is for. It’s there mistake not my mistake. I do not think I’ll ever trust Ford again. Fully disappointed right now.

I sincerely can not say enough good things about this dealership. I worked with Ron and Angel, both absolutely amazing people. I wasnt even going to go to a dealership because I didnt think my credit was good enough to get a loan. But these magical folks got me one! Donnell Ford was professional and efficient over the phone. This was my first time buying a truck remotely but I needed a specific truck for hauling horses 4-5 days a week and they had it used, still under warranty. Which was fantastic. The finance department was easy to work with. The problems started when I opened the door after it got off the delivery truck. It was very clear the previous owner had smoked in the vehicle. I asked specifically and multiple times if the vehicle had been smoked in or had any smells. We called Donnell Ford and they denied knowing it had been smoked in. Its beyond obvious and theres no way they didnt know. We have spent a lot of money and time attempting to get the smell removed professionally and its a lot better. But being mislead is unacceptable. The second problem happened when we went to register our truck in our Texas County. Donnel Ford was supposed to send the texas state sales tax that they collected from us to our local office. They did not. They kept our money for over 30 days and sent it after we called them to remind them. Donnell Ford made no attempt to reimburse us or help with expenses weve incurred dealing with a truck they obviously knew had been smoked in. I do love the truck and just wish I had been given the opportunity to decide if I wanted it considereing it had been smoked in.

The heater was not working in my 2013 Escape. I had less than 50,000 miles on the car. I brought the car in for service in 10/20. The cost was $2000.00 for thermostat, brakes, oil change. In December I did not have heat, I barely drove the car. I was told that I had additional problems and it would cost another $3000.00. I told them no and was still charged $125.00 for diagnostic test. My parent were a ford family and so was i. I traded my car in for a Subaru and could not be happierhave heat ( b

I was from Va and my Fusion had ignition issues on Pa turnpike thank goodness it made it all the way to Boardman to Donnnells theses men were AMAZING i cant say enough good about the service dept they had my fixed in literally 20 mins and only cost me 40.00 i wish i could remember there names but if they see this THANK YOU .. you guys were truly amazing. Fast and respectful and they had me in and on my way to see my Grandkids in 30 mins start to finish. Way to go Donnell Ford you guys are awesome and the cleaness building ive been in . I purchased a 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee from Donnell Ford about a month ago -- they told me that as soon as I received the license plate in the mail I needed to have it inspected immediately. My tire pressure light started coming on a week after I purchased it so I put air in the tires twice before I received the license plate knowing that I would need to have an inspection once I received that. I took it for an inspection and found out that I need to have all 4 tires replaced. There was ZERO mention from Donnell Ford of the tires being worn down and needing replaced soon when I purchased it and I havent even put 100 miles on it in the month that I have owned it. Pretty raw deal if you ask me.

Had a great experience. Sales guys were great. One thing I wasn’t happy with was having to pay for labor for my accessories I ordered (bedliner, bed cover, mud flaps). I spent a large amount of money on my new truck, you would think this would be free of charge. Or give me free floor mats or something. I also had to pay for those. At the end of the day still a good place to deal with.

Dealership was friendly and welcoming while purchasing vehicle. Everything was smooth. Fast forward 4 months later with multiple phone calls back and forth. I still have no title for my vehicle(dmv as i financed it). Temp tag expired 3 months ago. Dealership keeps giving me the run around. “We mailed it to the dmv but the dmv rejected it.” “We sent it to you local dmv this time.” My local and state dmv have no record of anything.Excuse after excuse. Now the bank is contacting me asking where the title is because they havent received it either. so now more calls back and forth with no answers on anything. Only excuses.

I visited Donnell Ford for the first time to have warranty work done to my 2020 Escape. I was very impressed with my experience at the service department. John kept me posted with updates on the work being done and was very professional. I will admit that it would have been great to have a loaner to get around while my Escape was being worked on but Frank the transportation guy was very efficient getting me home and picking me up the next day on time when my vehicle was ready. There are a few Ford dealers in my area and I know I made an excellent choice stopping here! I will definitely be back for future service!

Donnell Ford is really top notch. They took care of several things I noticed about a gently used car I wanted to buy from them. They knew they had the best price on this car at the lowest milage, but they just went about fixing these items for me, including a new windshield, and some other items of similar consequence, with excellent customer service. The shop really knows what they are doing, and the loaner car service was fantastic! The Service Dept @ Donnell Ford in Boardman Ohio is the best in Youngstown and maybe even in ALL of Ohio. I have been going there since 1988 and never have had bad service. Joan and Paul always took care of me, Joan retired but Paul is still taking good care of me and my Ford Mustang. They are always helpful and every so friendly. Recently I purchased a 2019 Mustang from the sales area. Well let me tell you that wasnt a good experience at all, however the general manager Todd and Paul in service changed that not good experience into a wonderful experience. I am very happy with my 2019 Mustang, thanks to both of them. So what I am saying is if for some reason something doesnt go exactly as planned, the guys at Donnell Ford, Todd and Paul will help you make it all good! So if you plan on buying a new or used car or getting your car services go to Donnell Ford they will be there to take care of you.

I went to Donnell Ford to have a safety recall address and get the The Works package performed on my vehicle. I have to say that the service was great. Not only did they complete the service I requested, an inspection of the various vehicle systems pointed out some potential problems. The service department informated of the issues, provided options to solve the issues and completed the work in the same day. I would recommend Donnell Ford for service on a vehicle.

I am a first year college student so buying a car was a scary step considering it’s already hard to afford an education, but the lovely associate Angel lived up to her name. She helped me find the best car within my price range so I could have something reliable for the next ten ish years without having to break my bank account. She also helped toggle the price of the car AND called every bank so they wouldn’t take advantage of the interest rate and my absent credit score. If I could put a half star I would. This service department is the worst Ive ever seen and I work for a Car Dealership in the Parts department so I work closely with Service. I need to have my car checked out for a check engine light on. They cant get me in until 2 weeks from now. That means they either need a new Service Manager (The one there is horrible) to breathe life into the place or hire better more competent techs who wont keep you behind for 2 weeks. This is not the first time Ive had terrible time with them. Im still waiting on a part for a recall on my car. I finally went to a different Ford dealership to have it done in a half day. Then my parents had their Truck there and it was stuck on a lift for 7 weeks. The General Manager didnt even do anything to help. So again this Place is Total Garbage. The Flynn Corp. should be disappointed in this store. and you cant keep blaming the fire on this, it was bad before the fire.

Within three hours, they had final approval and made arrangements to DELIVER the car to me the next day at no charge. Lauren, in finance was professional, courteous, efficient and called back on time with cost explanation of the deal. Tim, my sales person is the get it done, agent. I just had an oil change service done, and it was done quickly and since I had a referral card, for free! You cannot beat that! Staff was friendly, though it did take a minute to get waited on when I first arrived. They were busy, though, so it was understandable. My truck checked out, and they didnt try to sell me anything extra, which is good since I had just had service and a tune up done at my mechanics garage. Overall a good experience. I cant wait till they get a closer waiting room, though. With my back, even walking a little bit hurts.

I love my C-Max Hybrid. The incredible gas mileage i get is beyond compare. I feel going forward I will always drive a Hybrid. Donnell was able to get me in 1st thing in the morning on a Saturday, for a much needed oil change. This dealership is a complete rip off, particularly the Auto Repair department. To start off, I have little to no knowledge of cars, and obviously they took advantage of that. I had a leak in my coolant thermostat housing, and they charged me almost $700 to get it fixed. My mechanic friend told me he couldve replaced it for less than $200. Even Carfax Cost Estimate quotes a price between $115 and $135 as shown in the attached picture. Wish I had done my research before making such a rash decision. Also, I wanted to know more about getting a tranny flush, and they quoted more than $300, completely neglecting to inform me about the high risk of destroying my transmission if this operation were to be completed. Thanks to Flynns Auto Repair who warned me about the dangers of a tranny flush. I will only give this dealership credit for so easily ripping off a completely trusting customer. I definitely wont be recommending this dealership to anybody.

Worse Customer Service Ever! I contacted Donnell Ford via email because I live 3 hours away. I was interested in buying a Ford Raptor that they had. A Liz contacted me and I advised that I wanted to buy the Raptor and possibly trade in a 2002 Ford F-250 4x4 I had. She asked me to take photographs so that she could show the GM. She stated that Donnell Ford would give me the best price possible for my trade in. I sent the photographs and did not hear back for 5 days. I actually had to contact them and they never did respond. I cant believe I was having to chase them down to spend my money at their dealership. If they didnt want the F-250, they just needed to say so. I would of bought the Raptor anyway. I guess they assumed I couldnt afford a Raptor since I was trading in a 2002. Except the 2002 was a show truck with only 52,000 miles on it. I have perfect credit and was going to buy the Raptor outright. I would never give this dealership my business and I am actually going to buy a new Raptor from someone else.

I was interested in a Jeep and I called to make sure they have still had it before I drove an hour and a half. Over the phone Brandon made sure I could get a loan before I drove there which was cool of them. They stayed open late for me so I could get my awesome Jeep that same day! This place is great. If you have credit problems, come see Ron and Angel. These 2 will get you in a new car with no pressure or slime ball tactics like other dealers. My credit score is really low so I was less than optimistic about my chances and felt I may be wasting my time as usual when a dealership offers me their services. My wife and I went out to Donnell and walked out after only 2 hours in a 2017 Ford Fusion SE. Great cars, incredible service and even better people. I will be back again.

Owning an 86 Ford F150 4x4, parts are hard to find. The parts man has ordered me a axle spindle seal. We are hoping the part is the right one. Hes going to call me when part arrives. He was very nice and took time to research the part. Its nice to go to a dealership where your comfortable talking to the personnel.

Would be lower if possible but the one star rating is sufficient based on the price only! Buyers beware especially people of color when buying a vehicle from this dealership! Micro-agression and the use of profanity are high at this location. The nicetys come out to they get your money and once you ask questions, youre veiwed as a complainer.Bought a used 2012 Toyota Tundra and did a quick visual inspection. The vehicle had a great price and looked nice on the outside. Did observe during the visual, three tires met the depth test but was dry rotted to include the spare. This was brought to the dealership attention however they refused to replace the tires. Due to safety reasons and having to drive 250 miles home, new tires were required.Secondly, I bought this vehicle on May 15, 2020. After having ownership for three weeks, started having problem with the audio. In thinking it maybe a fuse, I opened the fuse box and found an old rodent nest. Took it to the local Toyota dealership and they confirmed a rodent nested there and had chewed/exposed several wires with damage totaling $6,200 with labor and parts. Contacted the dealership, advised them of the issue and was told by General Sales Manager (GSM) Mr. Beerman, it was not there during their inspection. He (GSM) stated Ive contacted the previous owner, the inspecting Mechanic (the previous owners brother) and to include me (GSM) and we didnt find this. However the shaving and aftermath of the nest contains nothing of the residue in my local area. Also was told, his salesman, Nick stated I was a complainer but had no issue accepting the $27K full payment. Very insulting and feel disrespected as a person of color!CSW

Awesome experience. Ron and Angel were very kind and understanding. They listened to my credit situation and found a car that worked for me. We were hesitant going in knowing our scores were not the greatest. But they found a perfect fit for us and were not going to make us settle for a cheap credit builder car. They are great people all around and have a great program. We highly recommend Donnell to anyone who may be worried about credit problems. They will make you feel the same as every other customer.

Its a ho-hum dealership. Ive been used to great service at the Ganley Ford in Cleveland and numerous other dealerships over the years.This place doesnt wash your car when you take it for service. This was a new experience for me. All the dealerships that I have been to in Cleveland washed the car after service. The people were way friendlier in the Cleveland dealerships from sales people to managers to service. They would smile and say hello if they passed you by. At Donnell, its very hit or miss. My experiences with them, thus far, would keep me from leasing or buying a Ford again since I would have to rely on them for resolution since I live closest to them. I just dont get a warm, fuzzy feeling at this place.Update: Regarding Body ShopI wanted to get work done due to a rear end minor collision, and I stopped in and got an estimate on 3/13/2019. The guy was friendly enough. Though the operation of that dealership in every aspect is sub-par and shabby. Then unfortunately, they had their fire. I left messages for the Body Shop guy (name will not be mentioned). He NEVER returns a call. I thought Id give them enough time to get their fire issues sorted out. I talked to him on June 26, 2019. He was going to look up my quote, but he had issues getting the computer working. He said that he would call me right back. Well, its 7/7/2019, and still no call. Ive decided to take my business elsewhere for the body related issues and other services. Theyve turned me off of Ford to some extent as well. Bottom line, they suck!

Mike DeMarco is by far the best salesman in the business! He not only listens to what the customer wants, but will get you the best price, too.
