PROCEED WITH CAUTION!! We had called 10 months ago and reserved our wedding day pictures to be taken here. We Were told OH yes, we have one venue here that day but it should all work out when offering to pay in advance or even put a deposit down We Were told you can just call us 30 days before your wedding day and we will take your deposit and get it all set up. Well here we are 33 days prior to our wedding day with everything all planned out calling to make our deposit and schedule with them. We are told we have 2 venues that day and do not have an employee to walk around with you while you are here. So here we are .... end of October wedding with absolutely nowhere for pictures if it rains. Just not good business. Was a huge disappointment.

We were looking for a wedding venue. This place is gorgeous on the inside. I love it!

As a wedding photographer, I get to see so many different venues. By far, Stambaugh is I’ve if my absolute favorite places to photograph. The gorgeous interior and exterior are the perfect backdrop for your day. Staff is incredibly helpful and courteous. Over the years, I’ve shot so many wedding ceremonies and receptions here. I have never had a bad experience or heard of a disappointed bride.

Had our daughter first recital here. It was beautiful inside and out! Couldnt be happier ☺

My wedding photography clients absolutely love Stambaugh. You simply cannot beat the architecture, style, and class of this great venue! Highly recommend!

When you enter this building you cant help to look at all of the detailed wood work throughout the whole place. Being in this building makes you feel like you are in a different place. Very beautiful inside and out.

Nice concert and event venue.Desperately needs to be updated for wireless mics and full surround sound but other than these minor quibbles, its a nice hall.

Stambaugh is one of the gems of Youngstown. The architecture is gorgeous, prices are very reasonable, and the acoustics are inspirational. Seats are a little snug.Parking can be a difficult, the fenced in lot attached to the Auditorium is limited. There is also a fenced in overflow lot across the street behind the main lot, and quite a few people park in the grass at the CVS on 5th Ave. Periodically people will charge for parking at their houses, though they are on a hill. If you want fenced in parking, give yourself extra time.

Got a chance to perform here with the Air Force band. Such a supportive community and an incredible Hall. Hope to return again someday.

Stunning historical building. We recently saw the Celtic Women show and it was great! The auditorium was conducive to the orchestra playing and I liked how the seats are a reasonable size. You don’t feel too crammed in there even when the show is sold out. Parking fills up very quickly though but we parked on the street in front for free.

Attended Opera Western Reserves Lucia de Lamermoor. Such a beautiful facility, great staff/volunteers, comfortable seats. We had a great night. The performance was fantastic and the orchestra was exceptional. Love love loved the flautist.

Its a wonderful place. It was very clean. The flow from entering the building to finding my seat was easy. The workers are very courteous. I love the experience and plan on attending more shows there.

Attended a wedding here, very nice venue beautiful entrance and very nice ballrooms for the wedding and the reception. Very professional. Only downside is we were not familiar to the area and we climbed all the stairs to enter but doors were locked.. note to self there is a side entrance around the back, go in there 👍

Have enjoyed every show weve attended! The silent movies with organ accompaniment are wonderful. Just the thing for the Halloween season!

I wanted to buy the building for a day for my wedding ....02/02/2020 or 02/22_2020 I was told that the front of the building would be being renovated at the time and I CHOOSE to not move forward because come to find out this establishment needs 5 million in order to have the reconstruction ls necessary I will say the employees I spoke with were extremely nice

This is a beautiful place. I was invited here for a wedding reception and I could not believe it, the building was amazing. I imagine the performance area is much nicer than the ballroom we were in.

The samba Auditorium is one of the finest design auditoriums in the area. It is had some of the big name celebrities performed there. The Acoustics is wonderful and it is a beautiful setting.

Lovely Sunday Band and Choir honoring the Second Harvest Food Bank. Stambaugh Auditorium has retained its beauty through the years. I remember Kathryn Kulman having her meetings here almost 6 decades ago!

This place is absolutely stunning. We were here for a school band concert on March 13th. Not only does the main auditorium boost beautiful architecture, the womens bathroom is pretty and cozy. Everything was clean. The seating was comfortable. There was even an attendant at the main entrance to open the door for us.

I love to go to Ashby mind of show at that venue. The seats are all beat and the acoustics in the venue are fantastic.

We held our wedding ceremony at Christman Hall in Stambaugh Auditorium. From the first time we visited, we knew this was the place for our wedding ceremony. Our contact person changed a few times, but it all worked out in the end and no details were lost. Dani was the final person we worked with and she was wonderful. During the rehearsal and the ceremony, we had the help of both Dani and Julia. They were quick to offer suggestions and guidance and relieved so much of the stress. Dani served as the total event coordinator throughout the day of the wedding - she even hid the groom so he wouldnt see me before the ceremony! Stambaugh also allowed the groom and his groomsmen to come in a little early to get ready. The boys had their own private “lounge” and so did I and the bridesmaids. Since there were no other events going on that day, after the wedding we had access to the entire venue for photos (our wedding was on a Sunday, so this may not be the case on a Friday or Saturday). It is naturally a very beautiful venue and provides for some amazing photo opportunities. I highly recommend Stambaugh!

One of the best places in the area for a night out the best way to see some of the older bands that still tour it is a great way to help with this classic building to be revitalize the area is clean for the most part there are some problems inside a four block area handicapped accessible parking is available there are some good restaurants A little further out towards 80 stay away from the McDonalds and fast food in this area the service is not good Station Square Kravitzs and JIMMYS are the best on Belmont and dont have the problems the others do

Very nice venue for music. Good parking and easy egress. We had a good time. All seats are clear of obstructions for a very clear sound.

Cool place to see a concert!! Cozy seating and definitely not a bad seat in the house. Ample, free, close parking. They even have a few bar areas available that offer a variety of beers, wines, and snacks. First time ever seeing a concert (38 Special) there and if Im ever back in the area I will check their schedule and go again.

This is a beautiful Auditorum with excellent seating and acoustics. The workers were super polite and helpful. However, The steps are not lighted when the house lights are out and someone tripped down the steps during the concert. The lighting in the Isles and steps need to be addressed.

We went for a graduation ceremony. Beautiful venue! The architecture inside was very pretty. Seating was comfortable not tight. Bathrooms were decent.

Very impressive! HUGE columns and very awesome looking stone work. This place is built like a tank. I saw they had Fallout Shelter sign right up front!! Parking lot was pretty small. I would definitely make sure to get out here early to find a parking spot

My husband and I used Stambaugh Auditorium for our wedding cocktail hour and reception. The venue is stunnning and the staff is hardworking and wonderful to work with. Dani, the event coordinator, is responsive, detail-oriented, and so sweet. She helped ensure that our day was flawless. Dani contacted our outside vendors to make sure that the setup and teardown was seamless. She also met with us a few times and even showed some of our vendors through the space if they were not familiar with it. The entire experience was more than we could have asked for. We would highly recommend that you use Stambaugh for your wedding or large event and work with Dani!

A treasured auditorium with a well preserved exterior facade. This is a fantastic place to listen to music and view theatrical performances. Every seat is a good one.

The staff was friendly & the building was stunning. I attended the Bush concert and had such a great time. The seats were comfy, though we didnt stay in them long. My only complaint is I saw no security. People several rows back rushed the rail. Even a lady who had front tow seats ended up behind a bunch of people. Possibly they arent used to rock concerts. Still, I would make the drive again.

We attended a dance competition there and was impressed with the modern interior of this classic venue. Comfortable seating, no obstructed views either. Adequate parking. Restaurants hotels close by.

AC on blast, they trying to freeze everybody, the party room had bad acoustic. The main course food was the worst I ever had and this was a wedding day.

A magnificent place I have been to for many events since childhood. Concerts my Mother took us to, dinners, receptions, & graduations. My son played the sax there with an orchestra for a graduation when he was at Mary Haddow ElementarySchool. In Youngstown, Stambaugh is one of many places that gives everyone a taste of culture.
