I am going on 3 years with the company and I have to say this is the best company Ive ever worked for. I was hired with no experience in trucking as a Safety Coordinator. I was given the tools and forever grateful for Bridget (Safety Manager) helping me start with the company. Jeff (President) is caring, knowledgeable and always takes the time to talk with the drivers and office staff. I was recently moved to recruiting so advancement is an option here! There is a great management team here like Jordan, Joe and Dale. They truly care about the drivers and office staff. I feel at home here and if you decide to join S&H Express, you wont be disappointed!

Office personnel & dispatchers are very helpful. It is a very family oriented company. You can definitely make money here if you’re willing to work. You treat them with respect you’ll get treated with respect. I will retire here.

I have worked for S&H now going on 5 years, and I can honestly say that the people I work with everyday are family. I have worked for the company over 3 years now. I have learned alot about the trucking business I never knew. I work with a wonderful group of people. We are treated like a family in there.

One of their drivers backed into my vehicle and caused damage to my mirror. Now they are refusing to cover cost because I didn’t have a dash cam. Will def spread the word about lack of professionalism and shady business. Guess that’s why we have attorney’s

S and h is a great trucking company who actually cares about their drivers. If you have a problem you can get it resolved in same day. Keep their trucks in top shape. If you are looking to become a cdl driver try their sister school shelly truck driving school ran by a group of experienced drivers.

I dont like the $186 charge for drug test and physical unless you stay 90 days, thats a cost of doing business never heard of a company charging you for this.

Going in 18 months working for the company and I have had a great experience . Dispatch works really hard to keep you moving and making money. They just rolled in some new trucks both auto and standard . I would definitely suggest this company for new and seasoned drivers .

Nearly got killed by one of their drivers on I-78. Seems like they care more about speed than safety; one of these days theyre going to kill someone with their incompetence. #1101 if youre wondering.Also, tried to call the company to complain about this driver, but the number doesnt work. Pretty shady if you ask me.

The regional manager for the FL location isV E R Y forgetful, the man is like 100yrs old, and WILL blame drivers for ( HIS ) mistakes, shouldnt there be an age limit, he isnt cut out for that job. As long as hes there, the company will continue to lose drivers & dispatchers. Dont even waste your time applying.

Can I give zero stars?I would suggest to anybody who cares about anything to avoid business with Granite Transportation from York, PA.After nearly being killed by a Granite Transportation truck driver, PA license plate # AG 30406, I can say first hand that their reckless driving behavior puts transportation of your goods/products at high risk. No coincidence that all other reviews of this miserable Company all state that they drive with out care, competence, or regard for other motorists.With their reckless and foolish actions, these low-life individuals will not be in business for too much longer. I do hope that nobody is seriously injured or killed by a Granite Transportation truck driver in that mean time.By the way, Granite Transportation is owned by S and H Express. This is a Shellenberger Family Company, founded by Steve Shellenberger in 1992. Do yourself, and all other motorists a favor, by opting to conduct business with another carrier. Heck, the life could even be your own.

After watching Granite / S&h drivers around York for several years they appear to have the most incompetent drivers.Just today I followed one of the Granite trucks eastbound on Concord Rd. in Springettsbury township. When he got to the road at Davey products he stopped dead in the traveled lane and then turned right with no signal.I have repeatedly seen Granite trucks southbound on Mt. Zion Rd. turn into Concord road in the right turn only lane and then cut off cars in the thru lane to get into the thru lane. There is no reason that a competent driver could not make the turn in the proper lane.

No idea about your load, where its going or where it came from.Couldnt care less about resolving your problem.Will never use them again.
