I love their hair color line and all the color choices, they also have many hair products to choose from. My stylist is awesome too, very friendly and personable and she gives good advice when I cant make up my mind on the style I want. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants a great hair cut, color and great advice!

After years of trying to find a stylist I can trust and does a great job, I started going to Emily!! Emily has been doing my hair for about a year now. She never disappoints me. She has such an uplifting fun personality, and does exactly what I ask to have done to my hair. I will be staying with her for a long time. I highly recommend seeing her☺️

Laura is the best. She is always fun and makes sure we get my color and style exactly how I want it. Laura really knows her products and color techniques. Extremely happy every time I leave ❤️

I switched from my old salon to here. There was this one girl there who did my hair now and then, I never knew her name, but she was great at whatever I asked. A new girl at the old place really messed up my bangs (and of course I had an important sales meeting the next day) so I went to Beauty Bar to get them fixed, to find out she moved to Beauty Bar! I’ve been going to only Emily ever since and she never lets a single hair out of place. Every time she does my hair it’s perfect, and my hair is hard to work with sometimes. Plus she’s a great conversationalist. You’ll get a new look and a lot laughs with Emily

I went to get my hair cut and styled on Tuesday. I was extremely worried as I have textured mixed hair and usually people in this area don’t want to help me or don’t do such a great job ( I get it). Ali is the one how PERFECTED my hair! It came out beautiful and I love my cut. She was understanding that I didn’t trust people in my hair but also so kind letting me know she would take care of me. I explained to her about why my hair had fallen and broke off and she was just so sweet. If you have textured natural hair I would definitely recommend you to go see Ali! I’ll be back next month to see her as well! Also just a thought I saw the beauty bars instagram page and noticed it had not one person on there with textured hair. You all should post those styles as well to show the versatility and talent !

My daughter went to get a hair cut on Saturday, just a trim. Her stylist Emily in the YORK branch told my daughter that her hair looked like hot dogs and it was the color of ketchup. She should have walked out then but she went by herself and didn’t know she could. Emily (the “stylist”) proceeded to give my daughter a mullet!!!!! It was awful and she was devastated. Emily appeared to be high. I know it’s only hair but not when you just started college and are trying to meet people. We had to go to another stylist to fix it. Another $50 she did what she could. The other stylist at Ulta asked my daughter if Emily was mad at her because she said that was a vindictive haircut. My daughter only knows Emily from the other cuts she gave her which were fine. My daughter didn’t want to go back to college on Sunday. It was an awful day. I don’t advocate for a firing but that woman needs to go. She has a couple other bad reviews in here too. We will never go there again and I want my $50 back but we didn’t take pictures of it. If you could have heard my daughter crying, it was heartbreaking.

Emily is an amazing hairstylist and her work is great. I was very pleased with my haircut and her pleasant personality. I definitely will be returning!

Emily is absolutely amazing! Anyone who is saying otherwise is a liar. No photo? No proof. People do make mistakes but no one would ever risk thier job like that. Her cuts and color are absolutely fantastic! If you go in definitely ask for her 😊

I highly recommend Justine. Im very picky about getting my curly hair cut, but she does a wonderful job. Ive been going to her for almost a year and my color and cut are always amazing. Shes also extremely nice and helpful. I always have a great experience here.

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff! They are very good at color, and use the latest products, which I really like. The store has a large selection of hair products for purchase as well. The location is convenient (first floor of the mall, right outside of the Boscovs interior mall entrance) and the prices are very fair.I normally make an appointment with my favorite stylist, so theres never a wait, but the salon takes walk-in clients as well.I highly recommend this salon!

Jennifer is an awesome stylist. I told her I couldn’t handle a bad cut right now but she promised me I was in Vary good hands. With all the stress I’m under she was very kind. Talking to her was easy and, as promised she made me love my cut. I have finally found a stylist I will definitely return to. Thank you Jennifer

Ive been going to the Beauty Bar for quite some time now and I can say Karrie never ceases to amaze me! I had a bad experience with a different hair salon which deemed me from stepping foot in another for a VERY long time. But since I met Karrie, Ill never let anyone else come near my hair! Ive never trusted anyone until her. Now when I go in I usually just tell her to do whatever she thinks is best and just let her do her thing and she has never let me down! Every time I walk out of there I feel like a new woman! Shes very sweet, welcoming, upbeat and is amazing at what she does. I recommend her to everyone!!

Yesterday was my first time here and I will defiantly be back. I went to Laura for highlights and to lighten my hair, she did an amazing job. She made me feel comfortable the whole time and really made it a fun experience. I would recommend her to anyone. Thank you!

My daughter and I have been seeing Elizabeth for years and love her. She listens to you and will offer feedback. When i go in, I might have a color idea in mind, but I always run it by her to see what she thinks. Shes tweaked it a few time because she knows me and shes a professional. She always does something cute to my daughters hair like a braid or washable chalk color. We really trust Elizabeth and I always recommend her.

Ive left a review here before giving this place a 1 star but I thought I should go further. Mostly everyone that works there is lovely and extremely competent, but save yourself and DO NOT LET EMILY TOUCH YOUR HAIR!!! She ruined mine and I had to get it cut again. The second stylist thought Emily was angry at me and getting revenge because of how terrible of a job she did. Im very lucky I was able to go get it redone somewhere else but I know not everyone can do that. So please, do not go here. Save your money and go anywhere else. Heck, SuperCuts has better employees than the Beauty Bar.

Price was normal for salon in this area, and Karrie did a great job on my cut and color today, and I even loved the way she styled my hair. Can truly say this is one time where I didn’t run home immediately to re style my hair. I love how my hair looks and will be returning to Karrie again.

I would not waste time or money in this salon.The lady who cut my hair was very unprofessional and didnt check to see if any of my hair was even before I left. There are pieces of my hair thats inches longer than the others and its not layered! She also cut it so much shorter than I asked.Then the added bonus of the other employees on their phones and talking about whatever they want not caring if its inappropriate or not.So disappointed

Only 4 stars because prices were high - but the work they can do is incredible! Other reviewers have said they are rude or unfriendly - that is not true, at least from my experience. I saw customers being rude or confrontational. The staff were very professional and helpful. Jose is great, he even accommodated my schedule outside of their hours!

Karrie cuts my hair every time I need and she knows exactly what to do and how to do it she fades my hair and does it so well. She’s the only person that I made it a point to always cut my hair. Not to mention her customer service absolutely amazing. It’s nice to get your hair cut by someone who actually cares and takes time to talk.

Mad, mad, MAD!!!! I went to the Beauty Bar for a style, nothing more.. The stylist and my boyfriend convinced me to have my split ends trimmed. The stylist said it would be two inches, max.She. Butchered. My. HairFOUR inches of my hair was chopped off. I have clumps of hair that are 3-4 inches longer than the rest of my hair!!! If I tilt my head to a 45 degree angle, the cut kind of looks straight. I would go back go have it fixed, but they might shave it all off after what was done to my hair.Ill pay you to not go to this salon.

If I could give it zero stars I would! I went in to have blonde highlights and they came out white! I’ve been getting blonde highlights for the past 20 years. Had to find a new place because I moved from AZ to PA. Emily, the stylist was very nice but not good at hair at all! I called and shared that I wasn’t happy and Emily offered to fix it by using a different toner. My hair is now brown! Horrible!!!!! Would NEVER recommend!!!!!

I can not express how disappointed I was with my last visit here. I left upset and cried for hours. My hair was cut so poorly and looked like I was in an ‘80s hair band. Not sure what I can even do to fix it. I will never be returning.

Had an apt and when i arrived they where busy with someone else and could not fit me in very unhappy and frustrated

Prices are outrageous and inconsistent. Wife went in with a picture, asking for a specific service - she was given a quote over the phone and then charged almost twice as much after at completion. On top of that, the results looked nothing terrible and nothing like the picture so she had to return to get it fixed. Manager refused to give a partial refund even though they did a terrible job and significantly over-charged. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place.

No longer there was my favorite place to get my eyebrows done... instead I went to eyebrow palace and the waxed half my eyebrow off!!

Really nice salon good staff

It is a nice place however some of the staff were very rude as I inquired about prices for various services. Treated me as if since I was pricing different services, that I could not afford to be there.

Girl took 5 minutes total sitting me down snipping my hair and to demand a payment all while talking to someone else the whole time. Still gave her a 3 dollar tip

NEVER GO HERE. I REPEAT NEVER. they ruined my hair completely. I went to get blonde highlights. The professional hair stylist suggested doing something different because of how my hair looked. I completely trusted her and told her to go with her professional opinion. They gave me DISGUSTING orange nasty yellow roots. I looked like a pixie. I called them that night upset and wanted it fixed. I went the next morning and met with thr manger. Three hours later it looked the same but now I had a rainbow effect in my hair. I wore a hat all day until I went completely brunette later. I have NEVER been brunette in my life and never wanted to but it was the only option I had. Now I miss my blonde and I cant get it back until a few or more months because of how damaged my hair is. NEVER NEVER GO HERE. They are the worst salon. I do not want anyone else going through what I am going through today. I also paid 104$ for orange hair and for them not to fix it.

I have never actually had my hair cut at this place only because of the horrible attitudes of the staff. I went there 3 other times with friends and family when they got their hair cut and everytime they had some one that was completely rude to them. Then the last time I went with my brother and his girlfriend she went back with him to get his hair done and the one guy that works there said to her you need to be quiet in a real rude way. Then I went to see if they could do my hair like the picture I brought in (it was blonde highlights and a lighter color) and she said oh deff not that is way to light no one is going to be able to do that without breaking your hair off and that is not true because I went from black to the same color in the picture a while back at Trends hair salon off of 83, and my hair was still healthy. So I do not recommend them based off of there attitude and high prices.

Always get my haircut here. A+
