Alicia was awesome. Last minute planning on a size for a storage was a little hard for me given that it was so lat minute, but Alicia was able to help me out in finding the perfect size and made my whole experience smoother. Definitely recommending this place to friends.

Traffic was horrible and we arrived later then we had expected but still during operating hours. Alicia, the manager was great! She was very positive, helpful and patient and helped me by allowing us to unload the truck and start taking things to my new unit during check out so that I could get in my unit in record time with the help if my friends.

I came here to rent a storage unit the lady behind the desk was initially nice and she requested that I leave her a google review on the safeguard website she was attempting on guiding me on what to write she demanded my phone when so she can type all these wonderful remarks about herself when she noticed that I wouldn’t allow her to hold my phone or post inaccurate information she became irate and less helpful and started to help customers who arrived after me. This lady who I believe is named Alice or Alicia is very unprofessional and seems to have disorders.

She has that all the years that weve had our unit in this building no one had quite helped us the way the employee Jose Marte had helped her. He was very professional and courteous. She has said she felt very appreciated that he went out of his way help her the way he did, and she hopes he moves up in the company and that they hire more fine helpful people like him. Ive rented a large unit since November. Ive visited 4 times, to exchange items. I guess it was my fault that I did not check the schedule. One can utilize the unit, when the office is open. This means, today, Sunday, they only open at 10.00 am, despite the fact that the attendant is in the office, at 9.25 am, and in sure it would not break his back to open the main door, since has nothing to do besides staring at the wall. I cant wait to take my stuff out and next time I will make sure the hours of operation are for normal working folks.

Being new to the area, I found myself walking by Safeguard Storage. When my stuff arrived I found I wanted to put some of my items in storage. I called and the call center set me up. Within minutes I received a call from Jose. He was very pleasant and professional on the phone and even better in person. When I arrived, he was waiting for me. He took time to explain everything to me and asked what I was storing and made suggestions. I found myself staying after the transaction just to talk with him. If hes not the manager then he needs to be. My husband even thought Jose was cool and my husband is VERY critical of people. Jose didnt try to oversell, he was personable, he listened and he was thoughtful and thorough. I did business there because he made it worth it!! I definitely recommend them to anyone in the Yonkers area.

Its always clean and the employees at the location I use are very courteous and pleasant . What Im unhappy about is that they raised my rent $15.00 without notice or warning and I hadnt even been renting a year . The rent is expensive compared to other places Ive researched . Even their supply store they have in the facility ie boxes, bubble wrap and tape cost relatively more than U-Haul and other storage places .I only choose Safeguard because of the convenience and accessibility to where I live . Its good for what I need it for . Make sure you research and ask questions and see what deals Safeguard has to offer before you rent . They are good in that area .

They scammed me by quoting me one price on the phone and then charging me more once i got there.I will sue them over it if I can to give them reasons to not scam others.The manager there is a reasonable guy but the company does not any longer put customer needs over its own needs.If you get a quote by phone be prepared to pay more for storage once you get there.
